SCOTTISH JUDGE PAIGNTON 22
Special Beginners D/B. (3,1a)
1st Nixon, TOUT NOUVEAU TOUT BEAU AT KARMARISTOL, NAF, D. I gave the lady a few tips after the judging as I think it could have been her first time in the ring, the dog was not too bad for a beginner, fairly short and compact, pleasing in head, body maturing at the right stage for age, can move well when it decides to move, with more ringcraft and a bit better trim could have some fun in the ring.
2nd Drewett, APOLLO Sb SCOTTIE’S VAGAS OF PAMASWATER (Imp Akc) D. Good head shape with correct bite, tailer in leg than the first, good in coat condition. (Harsh) moved well.
P/D/B. (3)
1st Skudder & Caley, LUCKYSTAR’S BOOM SHAKE THE ROOM, (Imp Ger) B. Good type keen and alert, head of good shape well-paced ears dark eye and correct bite, maturing nicely, sound on the move and in good condition. B.P.
2nd Drewett, APOLLO Sb SCOTTIE’S VAGAS OF PAMASWATER (Imp Akc)
3rd Drewett, PAMASWATER IVY, B.
J/D/B. (2)
1st Hoare, DIVABELL WHO’S NEXT AT GLENAFFRIC, B. A feminine brindle with good forehand, good head shape, correct bite, straight bone, top-line a tad slack, moves freely, in good condition.
2nd Drewett, APOLLO Sb SCOTTIE’S VAGAS OF PAMASWATER (Imp Akc)
O/D/B. (4,1a)
1st Plane, CH SURPRISE VON TINSDAL STUANE, B. Immediately stood out on entering the ring, first class example of the breed, strong, short, compact and low to the ground, beautiful in profile and powerful rear drive, soundly constructed and in great coat condition, moved and handled to perfection, a pleasure to award her B.B & B.O.B. Nice to see she went on the win the Group.
2nd Broome, EVINGBRIAR SCOTCH THISTLE, B. A larger type than my first place, strong in head but still feminine, good ears and dark eyes, correct bite, enough bone and substance to her, strong in the rear, moved well, would have liked a harsher coat.
3rd Skudder, HONYPAWS SWEAT TALKING GUY, D. Strong male, good neck and top-line, ample bone and substance, strong quarters, moved well, nice condition, B.D.
V/D/B. (1)
1st Broom, LIRODA MIDNIGHT KISS AT EVINGBRIAR, B. A nice balanced bitch, rather strong and top-size, good in head and nice depth to her body, good top-line, strong in rear and coarse coat moved well.
Judge Mr. Colin Powell.
