SCOTTISH NATIONAL TERRIER 19 Judge: Mr D Winsley BEST OF BREED : 898 CROSS, Ms R & HUBER, Mrs V & CROSS Ms D Ch Mcvan's Big Bopper At Beameups SCOTTISH JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 19 Sp BD/B (3) 2 Lockwood's Trimscot Ernie Wise. Less mature than the winner, this boy needs time. I would like him a shade shorter in back. Promising masculine head, dark well placed eye, good spring of rib, correct tail set and moves well, needs a tighter coat. 1 Lockwood's Trimscott Ernie Wise. 1 Hill's Tahgmor Take Charge. Pleasing head with good ear placement, dark eye, good neck and front, very well made body, he has a good turn of stifle and uses his tail well. In a very full coat which, if tidied up, would improve the shape of this boy. Rather sluggish on the move, easy going temperament. 1 Harrison-Brown's Eslwyre Carlito's Way. Medium in size, of good type, Pleasing head for length and shape, would prefer a better shaped eye. Good muscular neck, well made body, good hindquarters and tail set. Nice coat and presented well. Good mover. 2 Mackay's Carisco Don't Stop Believing. Larger size than first. Good length of head but not the best of skulls, good in neck and shoulders, good spring of rib, well muscled hindquarters and drives off well. Would look better if he carried less coat. 3 Willis' Carisco Kings Crusader At Rikirakki. 1 Wilcock & Hebditch's Millingford King Of Hearts. Nice size, good length of head with well placed ears and nicely shaped eye. Good neck and shoulders, well made body with good ribs, low to ground. In good coat and condition, strongly made hindquarters which he uses well, does tend to stack himself 'bum high' which can detract from the overall picture. 2 Corney's Stonegarth Shaken Not Stirred At Rilynson. Wheaten boy, slightly smaller in size, pleasing head and expression, good neck, would like a more positive front. He has a well made body with a level topline, tailset good, has a great texture to his top coat. Appeared a little nervy which I put down to the noise hall. 3 Mahmoudi's Glengracie Jetson. 1 Cross, Huber & Cross' Ch Mcvan's Big Bopper At Beameups. Yes, this dog takes the eye when he comes into the ring, full of attitude. He is a good shape, head, neck and back all balanced. I liked his masculine head which has a good length, nice in skull with no excessive cheek bone. Good length of neck that blends into his level topline. He has a very good front, good body with a well let down chest, strongly made muscular hindquarters, tail bang on top, in excellent condition with a well presented harsh coat. Moves really well both ways with good reach and drive, well handled. CC and BOB. Very pleased to see the BIS judge thought he was worthy of BIS. 2 Boyce's Trakside Royal Indian. A size bigger than the winner. All male with a very nice head, good length, well placed eyes and correct in ear placement, muscular neck, good shoulder angulation and good front, well let down chest with a well ribbed body, level in topline, strongly made hindquarters which he uses very well, showing fluent sound movement, in good coat, condition and showed well. RCC. 3 Kenny-Marriott, Marriott & Kirk-Gellatly's Millingford Hudson. 1 Coley's Ch Kingsview Just Stewart. This male was nice for size and shape, well balanced, good length of head with well placed ears and dark eye, good neck, nice clean front with a good depth of chest, mature body with good ribbing and depth, well made strong hindquarters, moved and showed well. BV. 2 Maidment's Berrybreeze Explorer At Daxidin. Nice feminine girl, good for size and shape, pleasing head and expression, good in neck, shoulders and front, low slung body, showed like a youngster, she moved ok, lost out to first as her coat was a little on the soft side. 1 Pagram's Torcraig Classic Pearl. Very much a baby, she has a nice head of good length and well placed ears. She has a good neck, nicely angulated shoulders and a good front, nicely made body which is balanced, a well made back end which she uses well, fluent mover, in good coat and should have a nice future. PB (6, 3) 1 Kenny-Marriott & Marriott's Millingford Star Anise. Quite a mature feminine girl. She has a good head with length, a nice skull with well placed ears, nice outline, good length of neck that runs into her topline, good front assembly, deep chest with a well ribbed body, strong hindquarters, correct tail set, moves with drive. BP. 2 Greenwood's Carisco Return Amber To Petmon. 3 Patchett's Skircoat Song Thrush. 1 Maidment's Quaint Sabayon. Smart and attractive youngster who appealed to me. Head of good length, correct eye shape and keen expression. Good reach of neck which blends into her level topline, clean well angulated shoulders, good front, nicely made body, well ribbed back, in good coat, moved effortlessly around the ring and shown well. RCC. 2 Vickers' Flipped Vampire In Disguise At Esquire. This girl looked good stacked but tended to have a 'bouncy' topline on the move. She has a nice headpiece and good front. Well made hindquarters, plenty of buttocks and correct tail set. Coat a touch on the soft side. 3 Redfern & Bushell's Whistling Wind Of The Glen. 1 Willis' Trakside Cobalion. I liked this girl but she moved around the ring quite sluggishly, pleasing outline and balance, good feminine head, good neck and topline, well ribbed body, she has a backend with strength but lacks an active driving action. In a good coat. 2 Hill's Skircoat Semibreve At Tahgmor. A size larger than first, she has a fairly strong head of good length with well placed ears, she carries quite a body, needs to lose a little body weight, coat needs more attention and she is a good mover, shows well. 1 Bradley & Herd's Brueik's Olivia Rose. Very feminine girl, nicely balanced outline, quite a lovely head, good length, correct skull and ear placement, good length of neck, ultra level topline, a short backed body with good ribs and good coupling, good hindquarters and tail set, she has easy free moving action, in excellent coat and presentation, was in serious contention for the RCC, bit unsettled in the challenge. 2 Coley's Kingsview Just Patience. CLose up to first in many ways. Nice head and expression, good neck, shoulders and front, pleasing outline, well balanced with a good tail set, free moving, alert showgirl. 3 Corney's Rilynson Aruba Arehucas. 1 Cockayne, Cross & Cross' US Beameups Mcvan's Lady Glitter Sparkles. Very smart, balanced and alert girl. Nice feminine head, good length with well placed ears, nice reach of neck, level topline with a correct tail set. Clean well angulated shoulders and straight front. Nice body for length and spring of rib. Correct harsh coat that was well presented. She has style and is a fluent sound mover. Showed all the time to win the CC. Nice to see she is a daughter of my BOB winner. 2 Hill's Skircoat Sicilienne Of Tahgmor. A size larger than first, she has a good length of head, dark eye with well placed ears, well made body, carrying too much coat which impedes her shape, nice temperament and moves soundly.
