I very much appreciate the effort made by all the exhibitors entered under me for braving such horrendous weather conditions & I hope everyone arrived home safely.

Generally the quality was very good, but fronts & toplines let some exhibits down as did the lack of brisket & second thighs.

I would like to thank the show for their hospitality & a special thank you to my stewards for an excellent job on the day.

1 Pagram’s Torcraig Golden Chance, 9 months wheaten puppy of excellent type & lovely outline, clean head, correct dentition & good eye, well set ears, good front, correct bone, low to ground, correct coat & pigmentation, moved out soundly. BPD;

2 Beckton’s Glengracie Galileo, 9 months brindle. Pleasing head, correct eye & bite, good body properties, low to ground, correct tailset, pleasing movement;

3 Lawrence’s Sweetgarret Northern Lights.

1 Pagram’s Torcraig Sydnificant, 13 months black, correct head, ears & bite. Pleasing body properties, quality coat, moved out well;

2 Marcinekova’s Glengracie Golden Daze, 9 months wheaten, not so compact in body as 1. Movement OK.

PGD (4,1)

1 Tyzack’s Gaterin Lets Rhumba, black 19 months, pleasing head, well set ears, good eye & mouth, correct shoulder placement, good body properties, tail on top, steady on the move;

2 Rundel’s Samstevever Gold Amulet, 19 months wheaten, correct in head, good mouth & eye, pleasing body properties. Movement a little erratic;

3 Marcinekova’s Eshly Ir-it Scottish.

1 Dixon’s Millingford Royal Eclipse at Chatterdale, 20 months black. Terrific head & ears, correct mouth & eye. Well laid back shoulders, well proportioned low slung body, good tailset, well angulated rear, in excellent coat & condition, moved out freely. Just gave way to maturity in the challenge;

2 Beckton’s Glengracie Formula One, wheaten, almost 3 years. Head of good length, correct mouth, excellent pigmentation, low & wide in body. Would just prefer a little less furnishings to complete the picture. Moved out soundly;

3 Meek’s Benartybrae Macarena at Benbethan.

1 Bichel-Snock’s Sir Darnley’s Windsor Wizard, 2 years brindle. Outstanding dog with exceptional head properties, good dentition, nice dark eye, good earset, correct run in of neck & shoulders, deep body, harsh coat in great order, sound quarters, free & steady movement. CC;

2 Baranchikova’s Int Ch Skailains Exigo, 5 years black, quality head with well set ears, correct eye, lovely body properties, great coat & overall condition, excellent on the move. RCC;

3 Rutherford’s Crisco Midas Touch.

1 Lawrence’s Sweetgarret My Wee Geordie, 7 years black, pleasing head, good shoulders, level topline, carrying a good body, well angulated front & rear, moved steadily.

PB (4)

1 Coley’s Kingsview Just Freya, eyecatching 8 months puppy, short coupled black with excellent body properties. Correct angulation front & rear, level topline, good set on tail, head of good length, correct eye & mouth, good earset, oozing personality, pleasing on the move. BP;

2 Rutherford’s Carisco My Leading Lady, 9 months black, attractive head, correct bite, short wide & low, good movement;

3 Lawrence’s Sweetgarret Highland Lass.

1 Pagram’s Torcraig Sea Pearl, 13 months black, clean head, good mouth, well set ears, short coupled body, low to ground, in good coat, moves out well.

1 Kirk’s Whitwitch Twiglet, 3 years black, well set ears, correct bite, correct body properties, short coupled, steady on the move;

2 Morrey’s Celebrity Du Moulin De McMonique, 2 years wheaten, long head, in good coat, tail on top, movement OK.

1 Baranchikova’s Int Ch Skailains I My Me, lovely 3 years old black bitch with all the essentials. Long clean head, good mouth, perfect front, neck & shoulders, good bone, excellent body properties & correctly muscled rear, tail bang on top. A bitch of outstanding quality with beautiful extension on the move, in great condition & showing off her assets to full advantage. CC, BOB & G2;

2 Bichel-Snock’s Ger/Dutch Ch Sir Darnley’s Uncut Unity, 2 years old brindle, once again a bitch of outstanding quality, in wonderful condition. Sadly did not help her handler on the move today;

3 Boyce’s Trakside Scotsman’s Girl.

1 Mahmoudie’s Ch/Sw Ch Brio Inquisitive, 9 years black, belying her years in every respect. Exquisite head & ears, correct mouth, lovely front, correct shoulder placement, excellent body properties, low to ground, in super condition, elegant on the move. RCC.
