Balanced head with dark eye, neat ear. Finer boned than 1 & needs to carry more weight over his frame. Has a coat of good texture. Rather hesitant when moving & on the table. JD (3) 1 Rutherford’s Carisco Midas Touch, quality dog of correct type, long balanced head, clean skull, dark eye, good foreface, correct mouth, well placed ears, lovely neck & shoulder into very good front, deep well ribbed body, short coupled, well set tail, gave a good account of himself on the move, coat of the right texture but it was coming to the end of its best. RCC for his type; 2 Dale’s Phoenix du Moulin de McMonique at Lynnsto, black of handy size & presents a good outline, head of adequate length, neat ears & a flowing neckline into his shoulders. Could have more width in front. Level topline, well set tail. Could carry more weight to advantage. Coat of good texture & was well prepared. PGD (3) 1 Boyce’s Trakside Wellington, plenty of substance with this chap, long balanced head, good eye & expression, strong neck & short well ribbed body. Let himself down on the move by not using his tail but used it in the challenge Good coat texture. Won this class on his better type; 2 Thomas’ Geomeg Edison, better showman than 1 but needs more substance & conditioning throughout. Clean head, good eye, fine ear, well placed shoulders, short coupled body, kept his topline on the move. Hind movement lacked strength & drive. LD (3) 1 Rutherford’s Carisco My Leading Man, black of good size & substance, head has length, strong muzzle, dark eye, enough neck into fairly good shoulders, short well ribbed body, good tailset, showed with confidence, good textured coat which was well prepared. CC; 2 Goddard’s Ch Emandem Black Pudding, a dog I have admired so often, was very well behaved but as a consequence seemed to have lost his sparkle. Has a quality head with a dark eye & good expression, beautiful neat ears which are correctly set, great substance with good depth & rib, strong quarters. Quite sound on the move; 3 Toth’s Multi Ch Happy Birthday du Moulin de Mcmonique. PB (2) 1 Thomas’ Indizak Your In My Heart, black with very good coat.
