SCOTTISH JUDGE LEEDS 23

I really liked the new layout of the show; I felt it was so easy to negotiate around. Despite having a busy main ring best in show was completed in good time, well done to all. I always think of Dan Ericsson, when I judge this lovely breed, a great loss to dogdom.

PD (2)

1 Kenny Marriott & Marriott, Heath Hill Kingly Step to Millingford (IMP JPN). This 9 month, is masculine with long dry head ,neat ear, dark well fitting eye with that intense outlook and finishing at punishing jaw. Clean muscular neck, through filled body to strong tail and plenty behind. He is strong, even at this young age. He has close coat with harsh top coat. Worked the ring well and in the challenge matched the CC winner well. Res CC/BPIB.

2 Broome, Evingbriar War Of The Roses. 6 month with a future. He has balance of head, neck and body length and is well boned with good construction. Has a great character brought out by his good handler. Fit, quality coat. A smart pair.

JD (1)

1 Lockwood, Filisite Brash Rare Treasure at Lochgems (Imp). 16 month and a bit of a teenager with a mind of his own. He has length to head, cheeky expression and fine erect ear. Filled body with sprung rib and tidy elbow. He has an outline depicting the breed and he actually can do it,when he thinks about it. Should come on well.

LD (2)

1 Ashworth, Russalan Crimson Coburn for Naviba. Notice he is by same sire as by the same sire as the puppy. This one is rising

2 years, standing he present type and balance. He is masculine, fit and turned out so well. Moving he was not always concentrating and giving his handler a hard time, a shame as he has lots to offer.

1 Kirk Gellatly & Kenny Marriott, Ch Millingford Hudson. This lad was the business today. He has power and clean outline. A long head, attentive ear set well, good eye with solid expression, down to a big nose and strong clean muzzle housing big white teeth. He uses himself with carriage and strength, CC/BOB.

2 Kelly & Kelly, Ch Carseview Mr Goodfella. Strong, masculine and handled to advantage. He was presented in muscle body and excellent coat. Never put a foot out of place and held himself at all times. A force to be reckoned with. A lot of him.
