SCOTTISH JUDGE LEEDS 14

Scottish Terriers

A lovely entry of well prepared dogs of good temper. A quality entry with some close decisions & unfortunately some dogs may have been placed higher if they had coped with the very warm conditions better.

PD (3)

1 Pagram’s Torcraig Sydnificant, a very good quality puppy with a most promising future, good length of head & good muzzle, well placed ears of fine texture, good neck, well boned & good rib, straight topline, well developed rear, good tail & good free mover, presented in very good coat & holds a lovely picture going around. BP;

2 Orr’s Orrscot Ri Uilleam, another of good type, a baby & giving a lot away to winner today, dark eye & good ears, good rib, feet & shape, covered ground well & presented in good coat & condition;

3 Whitby’s Glengracie Irn Bru at Morivey.

JD (2)

1 Plane’s Stuane Kings Sword, masculine head of good length, good muzzle & good sized teeth, dark eye & well placed ears of good size & fine texture, muscular neck & well constructed front, well rounded rib of good depth, short back, well developed rear & short hocks, good sized feet well padded & well set tail. Projects power, balance & breed type, presented in good coat of harsh texture. Covered the ground with drive & true free movement putting in every effort in the heat of the day to win this class. CC & BOB. Also nice to see him go on to take G3;

2 Bourgeois’ I Said No No No Du Moulin De Mac Gregor, good type & with a balanced head, good ears & eye shape, good body, bone & feet, good rib, slightly longer cast but lots to like, good tail & well developed rear, good front action when covering ground & presented in good coat & condition.

PB (3,1)

1 Pagram’s Torcraig Sea Pearl, feminine head of good length with good eye & well placed ears. Good body shape & strong rear, good feet & coat texture, another promising youngster of good quality, & holds good outline covering the ground;

2 Orr’s Orrscott Dervorguilla, another quality baby of good type, head & expression, good ear shape, good neck & holds firm outline for age, giving a bit away today but has lots of promise well presented.

1 Plane’s Stuane Sword Dancer, feminine head of good length, strong muzzle, dark eye & well placed ears of good shape, good neck into well constructed front, good rib & loin, well developed rump & well set tail, good bone, feet & coat texture.
