SCOTTISH LKA 21 Judge: Mr Barry Day (Risepark) SCOTTISH JUDGE LKA 21 MPD (2) 1 Harrison-Brown & Norton’s Divadell Who’s The Man TAF. A typey, nicely put together baby with a good head and expression. Nice straight front legs with a low to ground body, nicely angulated rear and good quarters. Still in a baby coat, he moved well. 2 Ashworth’s Russalan Crimson Coburn. A stylish puppy with a decent head but not quite the expression of first. Good for bone and with a well ribbed body that could perhaps be a shade lower to ground. Ok for topline but not quite the quarters of first. He moved ok. 1 Harrison-Brown & Norton’s Divadell Who’s The Man TAF. Repeat. 2 Lewis & Lewis’ Spinakers Maiden Voyage Of Wiselds. A nicely balanced puppy with a pleasing head and expression. Ok for bone and with a nicely coupled body and pleasing quarters. He moved ok. 3 Boyce’s Trakside Gabriel Oak. 1 Skudder’s Honeypaws Sweet Talking Guy. Lovely type and nicely balanced. Head perhaps a shade strong in back scull but with a good expression, neat ears and nice big teeth. Lovely deep, well ribbed body and super bone. Nice straight front legs, with a good topline, pleasing rear angulation and well muscled quarters. Presented in a good jacket, he moved well. 2 Coley’s Kingsview Just Jordan. Another typey youngster with a pleasing head but ears not quite as neat as first. Ok for body and bone, with a firm topline and good set-on. Not quite as well muscled with his quarters as first. He moved ok, looking his best on the move in profile. 3 Harrison-Brown & Norton’s Divadell Who’s The Man TAF. 1 Tyler’s Divadell Dr Feelgood. Good for size and type, he makes a particularly well balanced outline, with a lovely flow of neckline into a good topline. Pleasing head and expression and a good breadth of forechest with a lovely deep, well ribbed body and well developed quarters. Ideally, I would have preferred a shade more rear angulation but, in good coat, he moved well throughout. CC. 1 Kelly’s Carseview Mr Goodfella. This is one that will remain in my memory for type and style. Perhaps a little up to size but making a beautifully balanced outline. Nicely balanced head with a good expression and ok ears. Whilst he might benefit from straighter front legs, he has a super, well ribbed, deep body with lovely bone. Lovely flow of neck into a good topline, with a good set-on and well developed quarters. Superbly presented in a lovely brindle jacket and strongly considered for the CC but he consistently misbehaved in both class and challenge and I just did not see enough settled movement. RCC. 2 Chapman & Bradley’s Brueik’s Super Hero By Berrybreeze. A stylish black dog with a pleasing head and expression. Compact, low to ground body but not the quarters or angulation of first. Presented in a good jacket, he moved ok. 3 Wilcock & Hebditch’s Millingford King Of Hearts (Re Imp). 1 Tyler’s Divadell Room At The Top. A nicely balanced black dog with a pleasing head and expression. Good for body and bone with a correct topline and pleasing quarters. Presented in a good jacket, he moved well. BV. 2 Marcinekova’s Eshly Ir-It Scottish. A wheaten with a good head and expression and neat ears, but I would have preferred better dentition. Super bone and deep body but not quite as compact as first. Ok for topline but not quite the quarters of first. He moved well. 1 Knight’s Russalan Martha Rosa. A pleasing baby, good for type with a lovely balanced head, good eye and neat ears. Low to ground with a well coupled body and pleasing bone. Ok topline and rear angulation, with well developed quarters. In good coat, she moved well. BP. 2 Hoare’s Divadell Who’s Next At Glenaffric. A raw baby with a very appealing head and expression. Body low to ground but not quite the substance, rear angulation, and quarters of first. 1 Norton’s Divadell Come Fly With Me. A typey black puppy with a good head and expression. I liked her for her good, deep body and pleasing bone and correct topline. Just about the right amount of rear angulation, with well developed quarters. Presented in a good jacket, she moved and showed well. 2 Hoare’s Divadell Who’s Next At Glenaffric. Repeat. 1 Marcinekova’s Carisco Dream Queen. A typey youngster, good for size and presented in good, hard condition. Long, clean head with a good eye and neat ears. Pleasing deep, well coupled body with a good topline and well muscled quarters. Presented in a good jacket, she made a lovely balanced outline, moving with drive. 2 Palmer’s Stellanera Wilde Is The Wind. Another that moved with some drive. Not quite the head of first and whilst she has good body depth, not quite as compact as first. Pleasing neckline and topline but I would have preferred a better front and more developed quarters. Not in the best of jackets. 1 Coles’ BerryBreeze Quintessa. Good clean head and a pleasing expression but her ears could perhaps be a shade neater. Good for body, bone topline and angulation, with a good topline and set-on. In a good jacket, she moved well. 2 Lockwood’s Filisite Brash Living Miracle At Lochgems. Not quite the head of although she does have neater ears. Good, deep body but I would have preferred a shade more bone. Whilst she pleased in topline, not quite the quarters of first and I would have preferred a little more rear angulation. Presented in a good harsh coat, she moved ok. 1 Maidment & Maidment’s Berrybreeze Quintadacious For Spinakers. A superbly balanced bitch, good for size and type. Lovely clean head, dark eye and neat ears. Pleasing forehand and a good deep, compact, well ribbed body, with good bone. Lovely flow of neck into a good topline with good quarters and pleasing rear angulation. Presented in a good jacket, she moved soundly when viewed from all angles. I liked her a lot. CC & BOB. 2 Kelly’s Carseview Gangsters Moll. Another that I liked very much. Although slightly different, they shared many of the same attributes. I found it difficult to split the two and whilst I preferred the tail on this one, I felt the winner had a slightly better front and so RCC today. 3 Knight & Poolton’s Orrscot Mod De Baliol. 1 Maidment & Maidment’s Quaint Sabayon (Fin Imp). Another presented in excellent condition, with a lovely harsh jacket. Good clean head, with a dark eye and neat ears. Good for body and bone with a lovely flow on neck into a good topline and with well muscled quarters. She moved well. 2 Kelly’s Carseview Storm In A Teacup. Another typey bitch with a good head, eye and neat ears. Deep, well coupled and nicely ribbed body. Good topline, well developed quarters and a very good tail. Presented in a good jacket but not quite the flow of neck into her topline as first. 3 Kenny Marriott & Marriott’s Ch Millingford Star Anise.
