SCOTTISH LKA 11 Judge: Mr M Tovey SCOTTISH JUDGE LKA 11 Scottish Terriers MPD (3) 1 Averis’ Whitwitch Twitter at Saredon, nice head with good bite, front OK, straight legs, would like him a little shorter in back, moved well for 7 months; 2 Dawes’ Sweetgarrett Highlander, very hard to access this young man as he was full of himself, did not stand still for a moment, head good with a nice expression, bite OK, eyes nice shape & colour, nice short back, requires training before shown again. PD (1)A. JD (3) 1 Coley’s Kingsview Just Stewart, good dog with very nice head, dark eye colour with correct shape, good run-in of neck to shoulders with good front & straight legs, level topline, nice rearend with good movement driving him both going away & coming back. I see this as the one to watch in the future; 2 Pagram’s Torcraig Dizzy Gillespie, nice dog with a very good head but just needs to grow on a little to complete the picture, eyes of nice shape & colour, good run-in of neck to shoulder, front OK, coat coming through well, grooming first class as always from this kennel, short in back, well coupled, moves well both ways, not quite as advanced as 1. PGD (6) 1 Earl’s Rolanka Bucks Fizz, one to like, has a very good head, mouth & eye, good length of neck & nice front with straight legs. I would like a little less in back length, has good ribs, nice rearend that enables him to move with ease around the ring, a wheaten that will make top size for me but will finish very nice when mature; 2 Hardy’s Magandthan Black Heather, head OK, good mouth & eye shape, OK in neck, shoulders & front, not as wide as I would like, length of back correct for this dog with good brisket, moved both ways with drive; 3 Peace’s Berrybreeze Say Cheese. LD (4) 1 Rutherford’s Carisco My Leading Man, very nice dog with a good front & shoulders, head very nice, mouth with good bite with large teeth, short back with level topline, well muscled rear, moved with drive, coat still needs time to finally settle to its very best; 2 Smith’s Killisport Mcnaught at Soarvale. A brindle with good head & mouth, nice front, well ribbed body, moved ok, but at 5 years of age I feel he is carrying a little too much weight; 3 Hill’s Bonnieanne Norman of Tahgmor. OD (6) 1 Dixon’s Chatterdale Diablo, at 5 years still a dog I admire, good head, eye shape & colour with good ear placement using them well, mouth & bite ok, nice run-in of neck & shoulders, wide front with straight legs, good spring of rib & low to ground, level topline with good coupling, well muscled rear with good tailset, moved well both ways. Noted both owner & dog now act as one. CC; 2 Chapman’s Berrybreeze Dizzee Rascle, good dog, head, eye & earset very good, with a good mouth, front not quite as good as the first but still OK. Shoulder placment very nice, good spring of rib, well coupled, coat close to being first class, backend has good muscle, moved with drive both ways. I would like to see a little more body all over to make him a finished dog. RCC; 3 Goddard’s Emandem Black Pudding. MPB (2) 1 Byrne, Vickers, Pearce & Hughes’ Kerribree Arizone, 9 months & quite pleasing to go over, head & ears correct, mouth OK, shoulders & front are good, has good muscle moved very well for a youngster, coat coming through, she needs to grow on a little but time is on her side. PB (3) 1 Palmer’s Spartigan Charisa, nice little girl with correct bite, with nice head & ears, good eye & colour, correct front & shoulders, moved well both ways, coat coming on well. BP; 2 Manning’s Copperfalls Cosmic Jazz, bigger type than 1, longer in head & length of back, moved OK but will need time to mature. JB (6) 1 Kenny’s Millingford Cloudberry, one to look out for in the future, a really nice young girl, very good front, with straight legs, good shoulders, round ribs & low to ground, with a level topline & short back, has good muscle on rearend, moved like a true show girl; 2 Beckton’s Glengracis Toffee Crisp, brindle, lovely head, mouth correct, good eye shape & colour, good run-in of neck to shoulders, correct front with straight legs, low to ground, level topline & move with drive both ways although very different type but can change places; 3 Chapman’s Berrybreeze Glad All Over. PGB (4) 1 Milburn-Gates’ Liroda Earth Angel, nice little girl, has good head & mouth, with neck running well into shoulders, front OK, short back, well muscled on rearend, move well, coat coming through; 2 Lawrence’s Trakside Chocolate Box of Sweetgarrett, very solid type, with good head & bite, neck & shoulders are ok, front is wide & leg straight, short body full of muscle went with drive on the move; 3 Ford’s Killisport Mary Ann at Dojanfor. LB (2) 1 Hardy’s Trakside Springtime of Magandthan, a very nice girl with correct mouth & eye, good front & shoulders, short back with a well muscled body, move very good both ways, coat in first class order; 2 Maidment’s Berrybreeze Explorer, very feminine young lady, correct bite, good eye & colour, correct shoulders, front OK, short in back with level topline, moved well. OB (4) 1 Beckton’s Ch Kentwella Karamel by Glengracie, a wheaten bitch being of my top size but has all the body properties of a true scotty, head very good, eyes & colour OK, lovely ear placment, with a super head overall. Good neck going into well placed shoulders. Wide front with straight legs, level topline, short back with a good round rib cage, good depth of brisket, full of muscle in all her body properties which allowed her move around the ring with drive which edged out number two. Coat in good condition. CC & BOB; 2 Plane’s Ch Stuane Florette, young girl who is yet I feel to come into her full potential, lovely expression with well set eyes of correct colour, good mouth & head, carriage of neck & shoulders OK, front good, with straight legs. Well ribbed with short back & coupling, good muscle, angulation good, coat is very nice for her age. I would have liked her to have had more drive going away. RCC; 3 Pagram’s Torcraig Black Pearl.
