SCOTTISH JUDGE DRIFFIELD 12

Scottish Terriers

This is the first time I awarded Challenge Certificates. It was a privilege and honour to go over some lovely dogs.

MPD (1)

1 Becton’s Glengracie Formula One, stunning 6 months wheaten puppy with all the attributes to go far, beautiful head with correct bite, eye & ear placement, real keen expression, run in of shoulder, plenty of bone with a super front, correct shoulder placement, deep spring of rib, low tog round, short in back, good angulation front & rear, correct tail placement, made a superb outline. Unsettle don the move due to his age & being his first show, but still a worthy BP.

JD (1)

1 Maw & Shaw’s Pendlehill Plutocrat, black dog, nice head with good eye, bite, front & shoulder placement, plenty of bone. Would prefer shorter coupling. Tail bang on top, well presented, showed well.

PGD (2)

1 Walker’s Beaurevuer Nanook, black dog, clean head with neat ears, good mouth, correct front & shoulder placement, low to ground, correct tail placement, in good coat, well presented, moved with drive;

2 hill’s Polwicks Tourmaline of Tahgmor, well up to size masculine black dog. Longer cast than 1 & very reluctant on the move.

1 Earl’s Rolanka Bucks Fizz, very attractive wheaten boy with lovely head, dark almond eye, keen expression, good ear placement, lovely run in of neck, correct shoulder placement, pleasing front & spring of rib, well coupled, correct tail placement, moved & showed himself well, beautifully presented. Lovely black dog with a lot going for him, nice clean head with correct bite, eyes, ears & front, correct lay of shoulders, low to ground , good angulation, short coupled, tail bang on top, beautifully presented, showed himself well;

PB (1)

1 Shadbolt’s Akura Starbox, wheaten with good properties, clean feminine head with nice dark almond eye, good front, good spring of ribs. Would like her to be a little lower tog round, but this comes with age. Coat not quite through yet, but moved well.
