SCOTTISH DARLINGTON 24 Judge: Mr P H Darby SCOTTISH JUDGE DARLINGTON 24 JD 1 Millingford Blue Thunder Well proportioned head and skull, neat ears Nicely rounded ribs for age. Held a good topline both standing and moving. A very promising young Scottie. LD 1 Heath Hills Kingly Step To Millingford (Imp Jpn) a fit muscular male who scored with his big quarters and again like his kennel mate set off boldly not putting a foot wrong today it was just the more finished picture of DCC that beat him. RCC. OD (3) 1 Ch Trakside Gabriel Oak DCC such a free moving dog on excellent legs and feet reinforcing his smooth movement. Carried a good double coat today he was the more finished article scoring with his good elbows and front. 2 Fillsite Brash Rare Treasure At Lichgems (Imp) very reminiscent of both JD and LD winners he really pushed off from his backend and moved with Scottie style freely today, not quite the overall fill of DCC and RDCC but worthy of top honours. 3 Russalan Crimson Coburn For Naviba. I’m sure I have given this boy a BD while still a puppy at a breed club and he still has lots to like about him and appreciate with his well rounded ribs and short back, today not using his front as I’m sure he can normally. VB (3) 1 Liroda Midnight Kiss At Evingbriar VW not only BV but also G1 Vet congratulations. A bossy free striding little madam just not looking her 9 1/2 years a credit to the Breed with not only her type but fitness and strength. 2 Carisco Cendal Creme 18 months younger than 1 but another free striding Scottie once she got into it with good head and body properties. 3 Lonondview Foxy Lady, so short and deep being powerful in her action with good legs and feet. PB (6) 1 Carisco Winter Solstice BP and I believe short listed in the puppy group she quite simply for her age had the best forequarters in this quality class for me, stood out in type, temperament and movement and was hard to fault. 2 Glengracie Ginn Fizz At Caresview, superb double coat, short backed and deep in body for age, well off for bone with good feet and legs used well. 3 Glengracie She Will Rock You, such an attractive wheaten of good type, another good coat, today her co-operation hat was left at home but again sound and well made. JB 1 Millingford Out Of The Blue. I was drawn into her dark oval eyes, neat ears and clear femininity was in no way a compromise to her broad chest and nice feet and legs a very good prospect. PGB 1 Millingford Bluebell has proportion to her head and skull is clearly a fit muscled girl of good depth one of the best at maintaining movement today. LB (3) 1 Berrybreeze Spirit Guide At McKalay a short backed girl with a good front, like both her shoulders and short hocks which offered a smooth free movement, one of those you judge and know the best is yet to come. 2 Carisco Careless Whisper, had something about her that reminded me of DCC clearly she is made well all through with good depth and feet. 3 Silievercroob MacLill fit and hard all through good double coat and wide quarters in no way disgraced in this company today. OB (3) 1 Brueik Olivia’s Star Maker I loved how this haughty little madam looked through me and condescended to be examined I found only plus points from her head and skull length, good ears, almond shaped eyes and filled front through to her short body and powerful quarters best legs and feet here today producing a straight action in front and powerful behind Delighted to award her BCC and BOB today. 2 Ch Caresview Storm in A Teacup, a top drawer sort with many virtues not least her strong back with powerful quarters and excellent feet so correctly feminine in head, just had to be called back and moved out well to win RBCC. 3 Quaint Sabayon (Fin Imp) low to ground powerful girl but still had a good front and nice legs, a very nice bitch with over all a good head and eye and neatness.
