It was a great honour to judge the breed at Crufts. My sincere thanks to my excellent stewards & all exhibitors for so many outstanding dogs to judge, many of great merit went cardless but their quality was there for all to see.

VD (2)

1 Hovagimyan’s Multi Ch Tamzin Mr Prospector, well known dog in superb condition & show trim, full of beans, pleasing to handle, correct type, balanced head, straight front, level topline, deep ribs, powerful quarters, retains all his outstanding breed points, moved well;

2 Chapman’s Ch Berrybreeze Dizzie Rascal, another well known dog in super condition & show trim, also very pleasing to handle, lovely head & expression, soundly very well made throughout, just not as animated a 1 today.

MPD (1)

1 Grushevska-Oldak & Hrushevskyy’s King Of Ring Vladyka Kira, stood alone, immature puppy, a little overwhelmed today at first but did eventually settle, nice head, correct dentition, has all the essentials but needs more training & time to develop.

1 Boyce’s Trakside Mr Goodbar, quality brindle puppy, good head, balanced & clean, correct ear placement, dark eye, lovely keen expression, correct bite, good front, deep body, short coupled, well angulated hindquarters, level topline, correct coat texture. Moved & showed with animation, should have a promising future. BP.

1 Sutulova’s Varendzhi Born To Be Gorgeous, good head, balanced, correct bite, dark eye, good neck & shoulders, good front, deep body, level topline, good hindquarter, soundly made throughout, moved well;

2 Hovagimyan’s Verascott Man In Black, another really nice dog, good head, nice neck & shoulders, correct front, well made throughout, moved well;

3 Farrand’s Ceildh Quantum Maxxum at Amberyl, good head, correct dentition, dark eye, nice neck & shoulders, good quarters, not as mature as above, moved well.

1 Merzlikina’s Snailand Lanselot, balanced head, dark eye, keen expression, strong front, good bone & substance. Deep ribs, short back with level topline, in good coat & condition;

2 Looren De Jong’s Perhaps Sharp Dressed Man, good head, correct front, level topline, good quarters, moved well;

3 Tyler’s Divadell Room At The Top, balanced dog throughout, good depth of body, good head. Presented very well, moved steadily.

1 Chick’s Brueik All The Aces, dog of good type, lovely head, dark eye, correct dentition, nice neck & shoulder, well off for bone & substance, level topline, good front & rear, showed well, in top condition;

2 Annan’s Lomondview Man In Black, compact dog of quality, lovely head, neat ears, dark eye, correct dentition, nice bone, deep ribs & well angulated hindquarters, level topline, moved soundly;

3 Todd’s Eskwyre Waterloo Sunset, good head, neck & shoulders, good bone & well developed quarters, moved well.

OD (21,5)

1 Dixon’s Ch Millingford Royal Eclipse at Chatterdale, handsome dog, really eyecatching today, beautiful balanced head, correct dentition, dark eye, neat ears, lovely neck & shoulders, good bone & substance, deep body, level topline, well developed hindquarters, good angulation, moved with drive, never stopped showing, in excellent coat & condition. Pleased to see he was shortlisted in the group. CC & BOB;

2 Huber & Krolewski’s Am Ch McVans Flash Gordon, smaller type dog, lovely head, dark eye, good dentition, clean neck & shoulders, level topline, good quarters, presented in top condition & handled to perfection, would have liked more bone & substance, showed all the time. RCC;

3 Rutherford’s Ch Carisco Midas Touch, another lovely wheaten dog, attractive head, dark eye, good front, super neck & shoulders, in hard muscular condition, good hindquarters, moved well.

1 Mahmoudi’s Ch/Sw Ch Brio Inquisitive, one I have judged before, veteran of 11 years, of good type, still in good condition, retains her breed points, lovely balanced head of quality, dark eye, neat ears, good dentition, super front, well off for bone & substance, good neck & shoulders, deep body, short back, good hindquarters, moved & showed well, enjoyed her day out;

2 Bichel-Schnock’s Int Ch Sir Darnley’s Talisker Taste, lovely balanced head, nice neck & shoulders, level topline, well made throughout, presented in excellent coat & condition, showed well;

3 Hovagimyan’s Int Ch Verascott Fairy Queen, another quality bitch, feminine head, nice neck & shoulders, good body, soundly made, moved & showed well, in good coat & condition.

1 Khenkina’s Gemma Stonehenge Vive La Vie, pretty black bitch, good head, dark eye, straight front, level topline, good hindquarters, moved well, just needs time;

2 Grushevska-Oldak & Hrushevskyy’s Triumph Vladyka Mira, immature baby, nice head & expression, good body, level topline, moved OK, needs time to develop.

PB (4,1)

1 Chapman’s Sianview Dizzie Delight, pleasing head, correct front, short deep body. Plenty of rib, well angulated rear, a little unsettled at first but has attitude. Moved & handled very well;

2 Khenkina’s Gemma Stonehenge Banda Dorado, smaller bitch puppy, good head, dark eye, needs time to develop. Would like more bone & substance but has pleasing outline, showed well;

3 Hill’s Skircoat Semibreve at Tahgmor, nice type bitch, dark eye, good expression. Lovely head, straight front, good body & hindquarters, showed really well.

JB (10,2)

1 Becquet & Darby’s Minorlines Princess Royal Becscott, lovely brindle bitch, correct balanced head, dark eye. Correct dentition, good front, nice neck & shoulder, level topline, good quarters. Good coat of correct texture. Really nice outline, moved really well;

2 Hovagimyan’s Verascott Mull Of Kintyre, another nice bitch, lovely balanced head, good neck & shoulders, straight front, good depth of body, strong hindquarters, moved well, presented in top condition; 3 Weall’s Wringtonbell Ready To Rock, good head, soundly made throughout, well presented, lovely coat & condition, moved well.

1 Chapman Bradley & Herd’s Brueik Tickled Pink by Berrybreeze, delightful, feminine black bitch in top condition. Beautiful head, lovely expression, good front, lovely neck & shoulders, level topline, good hindquarters, moved with drive. Good breed type, showed steadily. CC;

2 Wellendorf’s Alanis Av Lisellund, good head, lovely expression, good neck & shoulders. Good body, strong hindquarters, presented in top condition, moved & showed well;

3 Forsyth’s Apsla Sunset Barley Glow, another nice bitch of good type, good head, correct dentition. Well constructed, moved & showed well.

LB (7,1)

1 Rutherford’s Carisco My Leading Lady, lovely b/br bitch, balanced head with correct expression. Good bone & substance, dark eye, good front & shoulders, level topline. Good ribs, well developed hindquarters which she used on the move very well. In excellent coat & condition. RCC;

2 Wellendorf’s Glengracie Dolly Mixtur, another nice type bitch, good head, nice neck & shoulder, soundly made. Good rear angulation, moved well, presented in good condition;

3 Carpenter’s Blackthorpe Blowzabella at Westerleigh, pleasing to handle, good head with dark eye, nice expression. Good body, short back, well made bitch, moved out well.

OB (16,5)

1 Chapman’s Berrybreeze Born To Boogie, lovely black bitch, lovely balanced head & good expression, neat ears, good front & depth. Nice neck & shoulder, level topline & lovely body properties. Well angulated hindquarters, in excellent coat & condition. Moved very well;

2 Huber & Cross’ Am GrCh Mc Vans Be Bop Baby, smaller type than 1, good head, super eye & expression. Would have liked more bone & substance, excellent coat & presentation, moved well;

3 Pinto’s Jsy Ch Brueik Bright And Bubbly at McKalay, lovely black bitch, balanced head, dark eye, well constructed throughout, moved well & presented in top condition.

GCB (1)

1 Broome & Milburn-Gates’ Liroda Midnight Kiss at Evingbriar, good head, correct front, good body, well constructed. Showed very well in good condition & handled to advantage.
