SCOTTISH JUDGE BLACKPOOL 25

A wet and windy day and we stayed outside because the indoor rings were muddy so thanks to the exhibitors who stayed in good spirits. Thanks also to steward Wendy Pickup for managing all the flying paperwork single-handed.

PD

1 Berrybreeze Wisdom. 11 months old with good bone and substance, low to ground and with very good quarters which he uses well. He has a long, clean head with good strength in muzzle. Dark eyes and neat ears. He was in crisp coat and expertly presented. Full of self importance on the move. His tail carriage is a little tight but I thought him a really good prospect and in the challenge deserved the reserve CC. Best Puppy

2 Lochgems Sole Sensation Fornaviba, 6 months puppy who has the desired substance and compactness with good ribcage, topline and coat. Coat coming in and he was happy in the ring. His head has quality, his eye could be a shade darker, obviously not the firmness and co-ordination of the winner but very promising

PGD

1 Divadell Mighty Quinn 18 months and full of confidence. He has a long head which could be a littler flatter in skull. Big ribs and widequarters. He could be a little more compact and his tailset could be higher.

LD

1 Millingford Blue Thunder 2 year old dog of great quality and presented in great form and a great coat. He has a beutiful head and eye, has a firm topline and excellent tailset and carriage. He is not yet fully mature in body but when he has finished in ribs and body should have a very good career

OD

1 Multi Ch Powerranger Domino ScoTS 3 year old dog who caught the eye going round with his short body, good topline and tail carriage and the look of self confidence. On the table I found plenty of bone and sibstance, with good front and quarters. His coat was not at its best but had had texture. He has a long clean head but his eye is a little large. In the challenge he looked the finished dog and won the CC

2 Testarossa Della Roccacia Di Nodigliana 3 year old who is low set and has good type in head, bone and ribcage. He was slack in topline on the day and his tailset is a little low

VD

1 Carisco Dont Stop Believing 8 year old with a wonderful coat.Top size with long clean head, neat ears and good expression. Strutted around the ring full of presence and a great credit to his owner

PB

1 Berrybreeze Burnt Toast 10 months brindle of beautiful type and quality and a lovely outline. She looked a little long as she has not yet got her coat but I loved her head and expression. She has great substance and wonderful quarters to power her round the ring. Exciting prospect. I look forward to seeing the finished product! Today had to give way to the dog puppy on coat. BPB

2 Dajavaltromie Meadow my apologies but my notes for this puppy are illegible on the wet note paper

3 Karmaristol Ice Ice Baby

JB

1 Berrybreeze She’s The One 16 months f feminine, short backed, well ribbed and in excellent coat. Strong bone and good quarters.I would prefer more length of foreface for perfect balance in the head. Went with great drive

2 Carisco Winter Solstice. 17 months, scoring in head and eye here. She hs very good chest and ribcage. Needs to let down in quarters and this showed in her topline on the move

PGB

close decision as both bitches had qualities

1 Fennekin Gothic Girl 3 year old who is short and compact with excellent quarters but her tailset is a little low. Good head type. Went with drive

2 Chatterdale Clear StaR I preferred her head and eye but she is longer cast than the winner. She went well.

LB

1 Millingford Out Of The BluE litter sister to the Blue Thunder and the same type and quality except she is a little more finished in rib and body. A beautiful head with dark eye and neat ears. Shown in excellent coat and presented to look a picture. Pressed hard in the challenge and I feel sure she will end up with a title

2 Carisco Myrtle Beach To Amawyn a very typy brindle bitch which I liked for her cobbiness and compact body and big ribs so she did not need the extra weight she was carrying which made her look a bit loaded in neck and shoulder. She has a balanced head of good length and she was shown in good coat. She has a lot to like

3 Whitwitch No Mercy

OB

1 Ch Brueik Olivia’s Star Maker 3 year old looking a picture.Beautiful outline and balance and carries herself well on the move. She is well put together and has good bone and rib and was in excellent coat. Could carry a little more body. Powerful quarters well let down. Lovely quality bitch.CC and BOB

2 Slievecroob Maclili a 2 year old of heavier type all through. She was shown in good coat. Plenty of substance but without the femininity of the winner.

VB

1 Quaint Sabayon at 7 years old she is looking in the peak of her form, full of type and quality from her long head and good eye to her short well ribbed body and great quarters. Full of attitude and moving well with good topline. Won Reserve CC over the Limit winner on her finish in the quarters. Unlucky not to carry a title. Best Veteran

2 Carisco Cendal Creme 9 year old wheaten and shown with a beautiful coat as usual from this exhibitor, Very good head and eye and good ribs, substance and topline Sound on the move with good chest and wide quarters but she couldnt match the carriage and drive of the winner
