Scottish Terriers

PD

1 McKay’s Divadell Roll With It, young boy with a good head, nice eyes & well placed ears. Enough neck, though body obviously needs more time. Sound front & behind, moving well, though a little bit soft in topline. Excellent coat quality.

LD 1 Annan’s Lomondview Man In Black, small black dog with excellent head & beautiful expression. Very good neck, needs a bit more body. Well set tail, very well angulated front & behind & moving very well. Not in his best coat today;

2 Meek’s Benartybrae Macarena at Benbetham, very strong wheaten dog. Too round & strong in skull, good foreface, although underjaw is too narrow. Very strong in body, though could be better angulated fore & behind, consequently is rather short striding. Excellent coat of beautiful colour with good pigmentation.

OD

1 Rutherford’s Carisco My Leading Man, excellent dog with a great head, excellent topline & very good body. Excellent front & rear angulation, correct body proportions. Very good coat, good mover. A really handsome dog. CC;

2 Crawshaw’s Trakside Wellington at Levenkirk, very similar in type to winner. A bit rounded in skull, excellent foreface, excellent neck & topline, although needs a bit more body. Good front & hindquarters, well set tail, good coat & moving well. RCC;

3 Plane’s Ch Stuane Kings Sword.

PB

1 Herd’s Feregate Goody Four Shoes, excellent young & most attractive bitch. Beautiful head & expression. A real Scottie outlook. Excellent body, lovely topline, excellent tail, excellent front & hindquarters. Excellent coat professionally presented. Moving very well. A beautiful bitch who will have a great future career. CC, BOB, BP;

2 Hill’s Skircoat Sicilienne of Tahgmor, this cute baby was enjoying her day at the show. Lovely temperament, good condition & moving well. She needs a more professional trim in order to emphasise he lines.

JB

1 Rutherford’s Carisco My Leading Lady, very well made bitch with a very good head & ears. Very good topline & strong body. Well angulated in front & behind. Very good condition coat, moving well.

PGB

1 Meek’s Benartybrae Love In A Mist at Benbetham, strong foreface, a little round in skull. Medium length neck & would like better angulation. Tail high set. Moving well behind, bit too close in front. Not in the best coat today.

LB

1 Rowland & Rees’ Dotty’s Little Girl at Rabbonai, excellent bitch, very good head though a bit round in skull. Strong body of correct proportions, perhaps a little more neck. Well set tail, very good forechest. Excellent coat & moving nicely;

2 Minshall’s Forestree Cherry Laurel, good body, head too rounded in skull. Well angulated, low set tail, moving well. Would benefit from more professional trimming.

OB

1 Annan’s Lomondview Signature, excellent bitch, beautiful head though ears a bit big. Excellent neck & topline with well-set tail. Very well angulated front & rear. Excellent coat. RCC;

2 Krizova’s Gemma Stonehenge Remuage, very good bitch too. Very nice head though would like darker eyes. Excellent neck & topline. Very good front, would like a little more angulation behind. Excellent coat & moving well;

3 Plane’s Ch Stuane Sword Dancer.
