SCOTTISH JUDGE BLACKPOOL 13

Scottish Terriers

Many thanks to the committee for offering this appointment to me after Mr Derby had to withdraw. The weather was good so judging took place outside in a good sized ring.

V (2)

1 Annan’s Lomondview Catalina, black bitch, clean head, good ear & eye, correct front, short backed, low to ground with powerful hindquarters, moved well when settled;

2 Hill’s Bonnieanne Norman of Taahgmor, larger dog but balanced, good head, ear & eye, broad front with powerful hindquarters. Carrying a little too much weight.

PGD (3)

1 Rutherford’s Carisco Midas Touch, wheaten, balanced throughout, clean head, good eye, wide front with correct layback of shoulders, good rearquarters, in good coat & condition, moved & showed well. Pushed hard for the RCC but feels he needs a little more body to complete the picture;

2 Maw & Shaw’s Pendlehill Plutocrat, black with clean head, good eye & ear, broad front, short back. Preferred the hindquarters of 1. In good coat & condition, showed well;

3 Hill’s Polwicks Black Tourmaline of Tahgmor.

LD (1)

1 Hill’s Polwicks Black Tourmaline of Tahgmor, balanced head, correct ear & eye, good spring of rib. Could do with losing a little weight.

OD (5)

1 Coley’s Ch Kingsview Just Stewart, brindle dog who is stylish & balanced throughout, clean head, dark eye, correct front & shoulder placement, short backed, level topline which he holds on the move & powerful hindquarters, in excellent coat & condition, moved & showed well. CC & BOB;

2 Annan’s Lomondview Copper Coin, dark brindle, lovely head, eye & ear placement, correct shoulder placement, short backed with good rearquarters, in good coat & condition, moved well. RCC;

3 Rutherford’s Carisco My Leading Man.

PGB (3)

1 Kirk’s Whitwitch Twigglet, black with a clean head, dark eye & good ear placement, correct front, short backed with good rear angulation, in excellent coat & condition;

2 Goddard’s Glengracie Bizzie Lizzie, short backed brindle who is balanced throughout, good front, good spring of rib, in good coat & condition. Needs to settle in the ring but this will come with time;

3 Coope’s Carisco Leading Lady.

LB (1)

1 C Leading Lady, black with a clean head, good eye, short backed with a good spring of rib, rearquarters OK, in good coat. A little reluctant at times on the move.

OB (3)

1 Kenny’s Millingford Cloudberry, black bitch, not the biggest but balanced throughout, good front, short backed, good spring of rib & powerful hindquarters, in good coat & condition, didn’t put a foot wrong on the move. CC;

2 Annan’s Lomondview Athol Rose, black with plenty of attitude, lovely head with dark eye & good ear placement, short backed with a good spring of rib & powerful hindquarters, in excellent coat & condition. RCC.
