SCOTTISH BIRMINGHAM DOG SHOW 11 Judge(s) MISS JANE MILLER DCC BERRYBREEZE DIZZEE RASCLE (MISS C L CHAPMAN) Scottish Terriers PD (2) 1 Coley’s Kingsview Just Stewart, just 6 months, well balanced head of nice length, excellent expression, uses ears well, OK for bone & substance, very much a baby but quite promising, showed well. JD (3) 1 Rees’ Rabbonai Gilead at Miacarla, well made dog with a lot to like about him, sound all through, coat texture good, nice both ends, moves with determination using his strength of quarters to propel himself forward. PGD (4) 1 Chapman’s Berrybreeze Dizzie Rascle, harsh coated dog of excellent type, very well put together, good front, sound hindquarters & good body, looking extremely well & making the most of himself, quality head with good expression, moved & showed off to take the CC; 2 Rees’ Rabbonai Black Diamond at Miacarla, nice one with good bone & substance, moved well. Prefered head of 1; 3 Cole’s Rabbonai Playmaker. LD (4) 1 Tovey’s Trakside Flying Scotsman at Charmic, good sound dog with a lot to like, head of a good length, neat ears dark eyes & excellent expression, correct front, nice bone & well developed hindquarters, moved well. Just lacked his usual polished appearance. RCC; 2 Eteo’s Glenmiar Whisky Mac at Jancliff, nice type, makes the most of himself, slightly on the long side. Moved & showed well; 3 Smith’s Killisport McNaught at Soarvale. OD (5) 1 Bradley & Herd’s Ch Brueik Magnum Opus, smart & showy black looking well, good length of head, well placed neck & shoulders, good ribs, level topline & hindquarters giving good drive to his movement; 2 Goddard’s Emandem Black Pudding, nicely made short bodied black, well constructed & presented looking good; 3 Farrand’s Ch Amberyl Beinn Mor. GCD (1) G Whisky Mac at J. PB (4) 1 Plane’s Stuane Florette, just approaching a year & very mature with so much self confidence, nicely balanced all through & has most of everything in good order. I judged her a week ago & she won a round of the pup of the year stakes. I liked her then & I like her now. CC & BOB; 2 Chapman’s Berrybreeze Glad All Over; 3 Milburn-Gates’ Liroda Liquorice Lace. JB (4) 1 Plane’s Stuane Carnival Queen, short coupled with good body, pleasing head which handles well, good eye & foreface. Needs time. 2 Cole’s Rabbonai Naughty But Nice, good coat & in lovely condition, a lot to like about her. PGB (5) 1 Maidment’s Berrybreeze Explorer, good coat, moderate length of body, level top line, soundly made & sound in movement, lengthy head with good ears which she used well; 2 Rowland’s Rabbonai Cup Cake, handles nicely & looked OK, good tight well fitting harsh jacket; 3 Rees’ Rabbonai Blackberry at Miacarla. LB (6) 1 Pagram’s Torcraig Black Pearl, stylish black looking well, ultra short body, level topline, good quarters with nicely set tail, neat quality head with well set dark eyes; 2 Corney’s Rilynson Sunshine Princess, in superb coat & condition, good head & expression, sound body, tailset OK, moved well with good drive from hindquarters; 3 Coley’s Kingsview Just The One. OB (4) 1 Annan’s Lomondview Yours Truly, ultra short with well ribbed & deep body, nice neck, shoulders & well made both fore & aft, good head, well shaped dark & deeply set eyes, very good all round bitch. Not in her best coat. RCC; 2 Pagram’s Torcraig Fair Enough, in a good showcoat & a quality wheaten with lovely outline, handles well on the table & has many virtues. Moved OK but could be a bit more definite; 3 Chapman’s Ch Berrybreeze Supertramp. JANE MILLER |
