SCOTTISH BELFAST 14 Judge(s): MR MAX KING Scottish Terriers: PGD (1) 1. Wright’s Champagne Du Moulin de McMonique. Wheaten dog and appearance could be improved by more attention to coat and trimming, in order to show strength and length of neck. Tended to move a little loose. OD (5) 1. Plane’s Stuane Kings Sword. Good height and retaining power and substance in correct proportions, best of heads with dark eye and well set ears giving overall excellent expression, well made shoulders, level topline, well set tail with plenty behind, coat in excellent condition, moved with fluidity and retained shape on the move. Dog CC and BOB. 2. Aiken’s Ir Ch Slievecroob Fergus. Well proportioned head, soundly constructed body and quarters, would have liked a little more attention to detail on trimming and presentation. Res DCC. PB (1) 1. Leonard’s Plenard Double Dee. Outgoing and confident young bitch and still lots more development to come but has all right attributes at this stage. BP. JB (2) 1. Aiken’s Slievecroob Scotch Piper. Cobby and compact in appearance, strong powerful jaw, strong neck, nicely made body, moved OK. 2. Wright’s Mullachbui Golden Pine. A little playful on the table and on the move, longer cast than 1, well ribbed body and well muscled. OB (2) 1. Plane’s Stuane Sword Dancer. Litter sister to Dog CC winner and same quality attributes apply, liked overall size and shape and terrier spirit. Bitch CC. 2. Aiken’s Ir/Int Ch Slievecroob Scotch Heather. Honest sort but having returned from maternal duties would benefit from carrying a little less weight, strongly made body with powerful hindquarters and good substance behind the tail, moved out well.
