PARSON WELKS 09 Judge(s) MR ROGER BIGLAND DCC BRADPOLE BLANC DE BLANCS (MR B & MRS M HIGHFIELD) Parson Russell Terriers PD (10) 1 Bygates’ Windynook Init To Winit, handy sized dog, easily spannable, nice topline & tailset, hard coat, good front, moved well. BP; 2 Swift & Parr’s Pacolito Phairplay, nice type, lovely neck & head, good shoulder & topline, plenty of drive behind. Just beaten on coat; 3 Eastwood’s Pacolito Presmous. JD (4) 1 Sollis’ Mister Bonamonty, nice dog, pleasing head, good hard coat, bright & alert, moved with plenty of drive; 2 Tagg’s Rymshott Tactic, bright, alert, sharp dog, strong head, correct earset, narrow front. Just slightly longer than 1; 3 Cutler & Hughes’ Trumpmoor Exmoor Jimny. PGD (4) 1 Slatter’s Brimpton Trust, good hard coat, nice head, in proportion to body, easily spanned, good feet. Front movement could be better; 2 White & Bailey’s Horncall Ice, completely different type to 1. Lovely head, good hard coat, plenty of bone, moved with drive; 3 Owen’s Kaynee Bolt Em Out. LD (7) 1 Lumbard’s Alncroft Hemlock of Morgandare, good working type, hard coat, strong head, correct earset, lovely front, catlike feet, moved well. RCC; 2 Doyle’s Alne Masterpiece of Ilexquercus, in excellent condition, superb coat, easily spannable, plenty of bone, good feet; 3 Newport’s Digaden Chase The Ace. OD (7) 1 Highfield’s Bradpole Blanc De Blancs, close decision between 1 & 2. Super head, correct earset & strong muzzle, easily spanned, good lay of shoulder, adequate bone, good feet, harsh coat, plenty of drive when on the move. CC; 2 Denby-Gardner’s Ammandday Augury, very many of the qualities of 1. Slightly lower in the pasterns & longer in body; 3 Robert & Todd’s Mindlen Rabbit. PB (10,2) 1 Bygate’s Windynook Rhythm Is A Dancer, lovely pup, typical of this kennel, beautiful size, lovely to handle, superb coat; 2 Baker’s Pacolito Picture Image, good coat, super angulation behind which gave plenty of drive on the move. Preferred head of 1; 3 Frost-Copping’s Goldfern Grand Cru. JB (6,1) 1 Frost-Copping’s Goldfern Glory, real handy sized little bitch, good hard coat, nice front, plenty of drive on the move; 2 Bull & Stark’s Tarara Boom De Ay, good hard coat, nice front. Lacks angulation behind of 1. Lacking confidence; 3 Meyer’s Boughton Bliss. PGB (16,5) Best class of the day. 1 Smith & Moon’s Alncroft Everlong, a real quality bitch, excellent head, good topline, correct tailset, well laid back shoulders giving good front & feet, superb movement, handled with panache. CC & BOB; 2 Baker’s Pacolito Phortune Monkey, excellent quality. Many of the attributes of 1 but slightly deeper in the brisket; 3 Harris’ Tilla Girl. LB (7,3) 1 Swift & Parr’s Pacolito Picture Monkey, good neck & head, narrow front, good lay of shoulder, correct topline & tailset, movement OK. Slightly longer than I prefer; 2 Doyle’s Mindlen Moth of Ilexquercus, old fashioned type, real good harsh coat, totally undeterred by the deteriorating weather; 3 Highfield’s Pacolito Phoregetmenot via Bradpole. OB (9) 1 Collis’ Ch Alncroft Tribute to Riplington, strong headed bitch, good topline & tailset, harsh coat, lovely front & feet, good angulation behind giving plenty of drive on the move. RCC; 2 Baker’s Pacolito X Rated, different type of bitch. Not quite the bone & head of 1. Harsh coat & moved well; 3 Denby-Gardner’s Ammanday Apparition. ROGER BIGLAND
