PARSON JACK RUSSELL JUDGE WINDSOR 11

Parson Russell Terriers

After returned from living in France for some years I was interested to see the changes in type of terrier shown, in some cases not for the better but I was pleased with my final line-up in both dogs & bitches, all very true type.

V (3)

1 Brown & Grange’s Ch Afinlea Roadside Skipper, t/w in very good condition, alert dark eyes, bite good, front straight & true, plenty of drive from rear;

2 Rimmer’s Ch/Ir/Int Ch Kylini Phoenix, 9 years old bitch, strong bone, alert expression, good ear set. Movement could be better. Well presented;

3 Moore’s Moonreapers Villain.

MPD (2)

1 Newport’s Digaden Playing Away, good body lines, good head shape. Coat could be better. Moved out with confidence;

2 Walker’s Kylini Chritoper Robin, lovely baby, when he settles will be a contender, very promising.

PD (4)

1 Hooley’s Hoolmark Sundance Kid, classic head, correct body shape, thick pelt, strong teeth, deveolping nicely. Moved well on loose lead;

2 Newport’s Digagen Playing The Field, showy dog, dark almond eyes, good expression & reach of neck, moved out strongly;

3 Brown & Grange’s Afinlea Ratzer Ringlet.

JD (1)

1 Hughes’ Pagantail Popkin of Ruffntuff, quality type, wedge head, well set ears, thick leathers, correct double coat, great front, well up on toes, lovely showman, one for the future.

PGD (4) 1 Broadberry’s Ratscallion Tactical Move, great for size, good rib & rise over loin, shown in working condition, movement very sound with good drive;

2 Hughes & Cutler’s Trumpmoor Exmoor Jimmy, keen but kind expression, straight front, good bone but not heavy, very spanable, nice to see in full correct rough coat, could easily change places another day;

3 Newport’s Ratscallion Tactical Play.

LD (4)

1 Vaughan’s Parrus Comanche Chief, tri, very smart but completely correct for type, harsh jacket, flexible rib, front straight & true, good lay of shoulder, covered ground well, challanged hard for top honours. RCC;

2 Sutton’s Pacolito Persona at Sprinbeck, very showy, strong head, chest deep but still spanable, moved out OK;

3 Moores’ Moonreapers Billy Bones.

OD (3)

Super class of top Parsons, all very correct in type.

1 Denby-Gardner’s Ammanday Augury, my ideal example of a true Parson, good for size, intelligent expression, dark eyes in lovely head, good reach of neck into well laid shoulder, well balanced body, rough double coat, very workmanlike, moved out as though he owned the ring. see I have given him RCC in the past but now he has matured, he is deserving of the RCC;

2 Chapman’s Foxwarren Finder, another quality dog, in perfect working condition, pleasing head & expression, good bend of stifle, well set down hocks, movement strong & true;

3 Sollis’ Ch Minster Bonamonty. Trio of very good Parsons.

MPB (4)

1 Broadberry’s Portleberry Forget Me Not, very promising baby, beautiful head, body developing nicely, tight feet, sympathetically shown, one for the future;

2 Newport’s Digaden Playing Truent, well presented baby, very showy, dark eyes, developing well, moved out with great confidence;

3 Bowden’s Pacolito Price To Pay at Chellowside.

PB (6)

1 Nixon’s Gonetoground Go For Gold, aptly named, outstanding t/w, beautiful coat, lovely head & expression, great teeth, very alert, good bend of stifle, tight feet, moved out very true, real eyecatcher. BP;

2 Walls’ Prima Donna Roxy Cool, nice type, good head, dark eyes, thick ears, good bone for puppy, moved with confidence;

3 Coogan’s Pacolito Phorbidden.

JB (1)

1 Tagg’s Hoolmark Tidy, 11 months, head strong but feminine, good mouth happy expression, good lay of rib, straight front, moved out well.

YB (1)

1 Chapman’s Foxwarren Lollipop, lovely tri, very full of herself, correct size. Still developing, needs to tighen up in front. Great profile when on the move. Would like to see her in a year’s time.

PGB (4)

1 Walker’s Ammanday Apple, charming bitch, good bone but still retains feminine look, dark almond eyes with good pigmentation, good bite with large teeth, front straight & true, good body shape with correct length of loin, hocks well set down giving good drive from rear. RCC;

2 Smith’s Bethane Liberton Lassie, white but with good pigmentation, lively & alert, very good type, movement sound, well handled;

3 Kannagara’s Sherosco Christmas Rose.

LB (5)

1 Denby-Gardner’s Ammanday Apparition, nicley balanced girl, keen but kind expression, great body shape, super type, in very good condition;

2 Kannagara’s Parruss Twist Of Lemon, t/w, head markings could put your eye off but look again, she has a good head shape. Very correct earset, lovely topline, shown beautifully;

3 Moores’ Moonreaper Floradora.

OB (4)

1 Bull & Stark’s Tarara Boon De Ay, lovely old type of bitch, up on the leg but very spanable, head feminine but retaining correct amount of strength, flexible rib, good loin, well tucked up, angulation correct, good second thigh. Not a showy bitch but all the right qualities of a very nice example of our breed. CC;

2 Sutton’s Ch Pacolito Maid A Phortune at Springbeck, very strongly made. Movement sound but no the type of 1;

3 Rimmer’s Kylini Mythmyst.
