PARSON JACK RUSSELL JUDGE WELSH KENNEL CLUB 14

Parson Russell Terriers

VD (2,1a)

1 Hall’s Frithgarth Jack Frost, 8 years old, of good type, head OK, would like a smaller eye, good front assembly, OK for body, would like stronger quarters, excellent coat & in good form.

PD (3,1)

1 Denby-Gardner’s Tubize Mr Wriggle at Ammanday, 11 month old, liked his head & expression, neat ears & size, OK for body for age, clean in front, moved out well;

2 Wilson’s Pacolito Evolution, 7 month old, overall a good type & balance, ok for bone & body, good outline on the move, just preferred the eye of the 1st.

JD (3)

1 Newpor & Baker’s Sweetjumper’s Gentle Twister, 13 month old, correct head & expression, good eye & size, lovely neck & shoulders, body good for age, strong behind, moved with drive;

2 Smith’s Tubize Mr Sizzle, 12 month old, nice type & shape, a bit heavy in head, excellent in front, correct body shape, well angulated, moved sound;

3 Wilson’s Chataway Huntsman Spider.

LD (7,1)

1 Jones’ Neelan’s American Dream, 16 month old, excellent type. Good Parson outline, very clean in front, neck & shoulders, carrying good bone for size, good quarters which he uses;

2 Chapman’s Foxwarren Picasso, again, lovely type, all essentials of a good Parson, very well balanced with correct bone, typical head & expression, again moved out well;

3 Roberts’ Spellbert By Gone Times.

OD (6)

1 Price’s Rymshott Samo At Andralok, 20 months old, star of the day, all the essentials for a top one, correct head & expression, correct ears & size, excellent in front, shoulders & neck. Good body for age, good angulation, behind with good tailset, good terrier temperament, never stopped showing, in top form, pleasing to hear he won his crown today. CC & BOB;

2 Vaughan’s Ch Parruss Comanche Chief, 4 years old, very well known dog, not much can he said that hasn’t, only to say well worthy of his wins. True Parson, today just didn’t perform as well as 1st. RCC;

3 Wilson’s Ch Pacolito Highly Prized at Dragonmoor.

VB (3)

1 Newport’s Pacolito Xceptional, 8 year old of lovely type & size, pleasing head, expression, neat ears & body, went well;

2 Denby-Gardner’s Ammanday Apparition, very similar type to 1st with all the same virtues, just preferred ears of 1st;

3 Bull & Stark’s Clauval Japonica Lady.

PB (6)

1 Baker & Swift’s Pacolito Rough Copy, 11 month old baby, good quality puppy, liked type, size & balance. Pretty head & expression, good body for age, moved out well. BP;

2 Nixon’s Gonetoground Tri Try Again, 7 months, very raw at the moment, has all the essentials of making a good one, needs to grow into ears, but so sound on the move;

3 Turley’s Pacolito Mistress.

JB (6,1)

1 Hooley’s Hoolmark Belle Starr, 11 month old puppy, top quality, correct outline & size, well balance, lots to like, pleasing head proportions, correct shape & size of eye, good sidegait, went well;

2 Brown & Grange’s Afinlea Speckled Wood, 14 month old, very sound bitch, good type & balance, like her head & expression, showed well;

3 Minett’s Rountfelley Beajewelled.

PGB (2)

1 Blair & Blair’s Gonetoground Go Getter, liked this bitch for her size & shape, correct eye & expression, correct ears & placement, ok for bone, clean in front, would like more positive drive from behind. Handled well;

2 Jones’ Neelan’s Flashback, 5 years old, good Parson type & size I liked, OK for bone, a bit heavy in ears to 1st, could be tidier in front, OK for weight.

LB (4)

1 Bowden’s Araceta Beatrice from Pacolito, like this bitch a lot, lots of quality, correct size, balance & shape, lovely head & expression, neat ears, lovely front, good body, correct quarters, which she uses, put down well. RCC;

2 Sutton’s Alncroft Maid An Issue at Springbeck, same virtues as 1st, lovely to go over, these two could change places any time. 1st was a bit more positive on the move;

3 Nixon’s Gonetoground Go For Gold.

OB (8,1)

1 Hooley’s Hoolmark Boppin Robyn, in my notes I put wow! Everything you would want in a Champion, excellent type, size, sound as a pound, CC, very close for BOB. Just preferred the showmanship of the dog;

2 Smith & Moon’s Ch Alncroft I Spy, stronger type of bitch than 1st, but still lots to like, had a lot of virtues, excels in front & shape, sound, worthy Champion;

3 Baker & Swift’s Pacolito Phirstedition.

MARTIN PHILLIPS
