PD (4)

1 Smith & Moon's Heythrop Trick Shot For Alncroft. What a cracker. So well put together and was on his toes at all times. Wedge shaped head with a good dark eye and the keenest of expressions. Clean front standing on good legs and feet, firm body and well developed quarters for his age. Good coat and pelt and the soundest of movers who could really cover the ground on a free and easy stride, CC & BP.

2 Bigland's Heythorp Task Master. Litter brother to the winner and has may of his siblings attributes. Workmanlike appearance, good size and well balanced throughout. Best of heads, good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders and easily spanned. Nicely angulated hindquarters with good width of second thigh. Sound positive mover.

3 Hughes' Ruffntuff The Son Stays Close.

JD (4, 2)

1 Hooley's Hoolmark Johnny Guitar. Another impressive youngster who has a very typical outlook and is so well made. Good wedge shaped head, well set ears and a lovely dark expressive eye. Straight front and the best of legs and feet, strong back and pleasing hindquarters with a good bend of stifle. Moved well with good reach and drive.

2 Hughes' Jappatin Statesman Of Ruffntuff. Overall pleasing make and shape. Good head, eye and expression. Balanced, firm topline and strong well muscled quarters. Once he got into his stride moved well but not as positive as the winner on the day.

YD (1)

1 Broadberry's Mindlen Magnum At Ratscallion. Alone but a very worthy winner. Impressed by his size, balance and positive outlook. Best of heads with the keenest of expressions, excellent front assembly with a good layback of shoulder, firm topline that he holds on the move and strong well muscled hindquarters. Such a sound mover, really covering the ground with good reach and drive, Res CC.

PGD (2)

1 Bigland's Heythrop Taggert. Good size with a very workmanlike appearance and is not exaggerated in anyway. Wedge shaped head, neat ears and an alert expression. Clean front, pleasing topline and an excellent pelt. Nicely rounded quarters and once settled moved with confidence on a good stride.

2 Pell's Pipinsbrook Mr Happy At Olliebark. Typical head with good strength and a lovely dark eye. Pleasing front, good legs and feet, well set tail and well developed hindquarters. Best of coats and moved well.

OD (3)

1 Bigland's Ardencote Tutor With Heythrop. Won this class with a bit in hand. Good size and presented on the day in firm muscular condition. Well balanced and has a typical outlook. Pleasing head with the best of expressions. Very clean over the neck and shoulders, spannable, firm back and a good tailset and carriage. Moved well and close up for top honours. In the final challenge not quite the 'spark' of the two younger dogs.

2 Newport's Digaden Pitch Perfect. Different stamp and style of dog to the winner but still fits the standard well. Good head, dark eye of correct shape and an alert and keen expression. Pleasing legs and feet, correct topline and firm muscular quarters. Not as positive on the move as the winner.

3 Wood's Ardencote Taber.

VB (3)

1 Smith & Moon's Ch Alncroft In Gold. Gave her the limit class when I did the breed at Richmond in 2013 and has kept her shape and balance and is a credit to her owners. Best of heads with good strength of muzzle, well set ears and a good dark eye. Scores in front assembly, well off for bone, good body shape and well rounded hindquarters. Such a sound positive mover.

2 Newport's Pacolito Xpectations. Very pleasing sort of good type but on the day was carrying a little too much weight that just spoilt her outlook on the day. Correct wedge shaped head, alert expression, good legs and feet and a pleasing bend of stifle.

3 Kannangara's Sherosco Christmas Rose.

PB (3, 1)

1 Bigland's Heythrop Tangle. Another quality youngster from this kennel. Not as forward as her litter brothers but is very well made throughout, workmanlike and has that active and agile appearance the standard asks for. Typical in head, neat ears and the best of expressions. Straight front, good body shape and well developed quarters. Sound on the move.

2 Wood's Ardencote Tarka. Very much a baby who has time on her side. Good size, pleasing head and eye, easily spanned and has a good coat and pelt. Was a little unsteady on the move which made it difficult to assess, just needs a little more confidence.

JB (5, 2)

Three very promising youngsters.

1 Young & King's Chadbrook Elka. Balanced outlook and of good make and shape and was on her toes at all times. Good head with the keenest of expressions. Clean front, best of legs and feet, correct topline and tailset and well angulated hindquarters. Good coat and pelt. Moved soundly with good reach and drive.

2 Dayman & Cole's Pacolito Phinal Edition. Very well made throughout, pleasing size and well off for bone. Wedge shaped head with good strength of muzzle. Pleasing reach of neck set in well placed shoulders, firm body and strong quarters with a good width of second thigh. Moved well.

3 Goodwin's Pacolito Rumourmill At Spitewinter.

YB (2) 1 Chadbrook Elka.

2 Newport's Digaden Runner Bean. Good size with a clean outline, balanced outlook and presented in the best of coats and condition. Typical head with a good dark eye and an alert expression. Good body shape, spannable, firm topline and well made hindquarters. Moved ok but not as positive in front as the winner.

PGB (4, 1)

1 Hobson's Alncroft Isle See. Took my eye as soon as she entered the ring and was not disappointed on handling her, so typical throughout. Good head and expression with neat well set ears. Well made front assembly, pleasing legs and feet, good topline and tailset and strong muscular quarters that she uses to advantage on the move. Sound, covering the ground on a free and positive stride, Res CC.

2 Newstead's Proveits Poachers Choice. Pleasing sort of overall good make and shape. Wedge shaped head with correct dark eye and keen expression. Good strength of body and well angulated hindquarters. Moved soundly but could not match the winners positive attitude.

3 King's Bramarno Woodvylle Wytch Of Riosset.

LB (5, 1)

1 Alncroft Isle See.

2 Steele's Digaden Get Up And Go. Good type and size with a clean outline and a very well balanced outlook. Best of heads with good strength of muzzle and an alert expression. Very clean over the neck and shoulders, best of coats, thick pelt and a pleasing bend of stifle. Moved well.

3 Pell's Pipinsbrook Minnie The Minx At Olliebark.

OB (6, 3)

1 Smith & Moon's Ch Alncroft Tussle. Quality bitch from every angle. Presents that picture of balance and flexibility that the standard asks for. Lovely feminine head with keen eye and expression. Straight front standing on the best of legs and feet. Scores in neck and shoulders, strong firm backline and shown in firm hard condition. Best of quarters with good width and a well developed second thigh. Such a sound mover with good reach and drive, CC & BOB.

2 Bowden's Pacolito Mistress At Llyunamill ShCM. Typey bitch, well balanced with a very workmanlike appearance. Good head shape, dark eye and keen expression. Correct topline and tailset, nicely angulated hindquarters and well let down hocks. Good coat and pelt and well presented on the day. Moved soundly.

3 Kannangara's Sherosco Christmas Rose.
