PARSON JACK RUSSELL JUDGE SOUTHERN COUNTIES 14

Parson Russell Terriers

PD (3)

Three grand young lads.

1 Newport & Baker’s Sweetjumper’s Gentle Twister, what a star, all terrier, the most gorgeous head with flat skull, eye that gives the expression of a bit of an imp, bright & cheeky. Ears set right with correct drop. Correct bite with big teeth. Long neck straight front, has layback of shoulder. Spans. Totally balanced & goes with purpose. Quality skin. BP;

2 Rimmer’s Kylini Hocus Pocus, this one will be in the running when he just decides to up his game. Just so good to go over, smart, sound, workmanlike without cloddyness. Just not showing as much attitude as winner;

3 Denby-Gardner’s Tubize Mr Wriggle at Ammanday.

JD (3)

1 Jones’ Neelan’s American Dream, super young man. Head shows type & balance with a well set almond eye. Good use of fine leathers. Strong jaw. Correctly made, well bodied yet still supple & not too heavy. Good legs & feet. Well set tail with good bum. Super coat & skin. Active & true on the move, showing impulsion. RCC;

2 S Gentle Twister;

3 Chapman’s Foxwarren Picasso.

PGD (1)

1 Hall’s Frithgarth Magic Sandpiper, honest, sound, sensible & doing all asked. Good head with spark in well placed eye. Pleasing leg to depth allowing span. Strong short loin, making for firm back.

LD (1)

1 Harris’ Gonetoground Trick Or Treat, 2 years, full of spirit yet performing so well with true footfall. Good muzzle. Uses his ears well. Perhaps a touch big but good leg to body proportions.

OD (4,1)

1 Roberts & Todd’s Chataway Primate, real terrier all through, just right for size & balance. Flat skull, clean cheeks, ear is dark & full of spirit. Ears set & fall enhance expression. Muzzle slightly shorter that stop to back skull & with underjaw to house big teeth with good bite. He has good legs & feet, angulation both ends to provide reach & drive. Impulsion to display his terrier fire, yet controlled & confident. Supple skin not too thin, topped by excellent coat. Worked with unobtrusive handler to promote his quality. CC & BOB;

2 Wilson’s Pacolito Highly Prized at Dragonmoor, good type. Perhaps a touch deep in ribs for me which just looses the typical outline. He does have a super head, all terrier & so Parson in balance. He scores in so many ways & moves with spirit & ease of gait;

3 Bowden’s Nado Shiz’s Tacoma X-runner to Pacolito.

V (3)

1 Chapman’s Foxwarren Tomass, a young 10 year old who is all terrier in attitude. Loved his day working the ring at all times. In first class order, a fit healthy dog. Well done;

2 Hall’s Frithgarth Jack Frost, pleasing sort, nice for size & balance, correct bone & depth. Rather more stately than winner on the move;

3 Harcourt-Morris’ Gwragged Annwn Evona Lenacourt.

GC (1) 1 F Tomass.

PB (9)

Lots of good prospects here made for a really enjoyable class to judge.

1 Hooley’s Hoolmark Belle Starr, 10 months, in prime condition. Her strength, balance & femininity scored her well. Loved her head, sweet, with the spark in her eye. She stands on good legs & padded feet. Is right for body & depth, which allows one to span her. Good set on & has bum after the tail. Went with ease & maturity showing her spirit;

2 Baker & Swift’s Pacolito Rough Copy, 7 months, lovely sort. Elegant & clean, with proportions which suggest she can go on well. Just needs time to complete the picture & nothing wrong with that;

3 Walker & Denby-Gardner’s Matssars Moonshine.

JB (7,2)

Good class.

1 Newport’s Digaden Taylor Made, cracker who contributed to the quality line-up for the challenge. She shouts the Standard when you survey her is fit & just right for body, hands on. Has good skin & is well put together with style on the move. Her day will come;

2 Minett’s Rountfelley Beajewelled, super shape, feminine but has plenty about her. Goes with ease & has power from good quarters. Alert, active super young lady;

3 Tinegate’s Milvinae All Aboard.

PGB (3,1)

1 Meyer’s Coclestane Cinnamon, 2½ years, good eye & ear, strong underjaw. Pleasing for leg to body ratio. Excellent pelt. Went with true action & shows activity & personality;

2 Jones’ Neelan’s Practical Magic, tidy bitch in lovely order. A very smart one of good size, balance & type. Not always putting all in on the move, shame.

LB (8)

1 Sutton’s Alncroft Maid An Issue at Springbeck, headed a quality class. Well she captivated me from the moment she went on the table. Such a terrier with personality plus. Yes she fit the bill to go over, nothing wrong here, so well balanced with right proportions built on active lines. Super head, dark eye with varmity outlook, spans, & quality bone, well padded neat feet. Super muscular definition with plenty of bum, strong set-on. Grand skin & coat. It was her character that set her apart, I just loved her. CC;

2 Tinegate’s Milvinae Whats The Storey, thought would be my winner & has so much to offer. A cracking Parson that could be no other breed. She went well from soundly made construction, close up but could just not get passed winner;

3 Baker & Swift’s Pacolito Redesigned.

OB (8,1)

1 Baker & Swift’s Pacolito Phirstedition, classy bitch with eye-catching movement. Lovely head, eye & balanced throughout. She really has lots of quality, in first class order. Had to be good to take the RCC in a worthwhile line-up;

2 Baker & Swift’s Pacolito Milarki, another bearing this affix that has breed type, is sound & in fit condition. Classic head, flowing lines, strength yet still feminine. Grand one;

3 Minett’s Ch Princess Lilo.
