PARSON JACK RUSSELL RICHMOND 10 Judge: Ms Moira Barrass (Gallondean) PARSON JACK RUSSELL JUDGE RICHMOND 10 Parson Russell Terriers It was with great pleasure to see how well the breed was presented on the day, good clean dogs of excellent temperament proving good breeding is what we all strive for. VD (1) 1 Brown & Grange’s Ch Afinlea Roadside Skipper, very masculine dog that I have liked for many a year, he still shows his socks off, in great condition, just had to give way to a younger dog here. Good wedged shaped head, dark eyes, strong scissor bite, clean front, good rib to loin, good tailset, muscular rear, moved with drive. BV & RCC. PD (5) 1 Vaughan’s Parruss Comanche Chief, lovely masculine puppy, in great coat & condition, wedged shaped head, dark eyes & pigmentation, scissor bite, correct earset, clean front, laid back shoulders, good feet, correct tail carriage, spannable, loose pelt, muscular rear giving drive. BP; 2 Bigland’s Heythrop Tailwind, good masculine dog, carrying a lot of the good points of 1, good lay of shoulder, in good coat, just needs to steady up a bit; 3 Hughes’ Pagantail Popkin of Ruffntuff. JD (4,1a) 1 Bigland’s Heythrop Thunderstruck, well presented masculine dog from this kennel, wedged shaped head with good earset, scissor bite, clean front, easily spanned, loose pelt, good rib to loin, correct tailset, more settled on the move; 2 Wallis’ Katjarat Mister Cool, masculine dog, easily spanned, good coat, scissor bite, correct ear carriage, clean front. Needs to settle on the move; 3 Hall’s Frithgarth Mighty Gandalf. PGD (1) A. LD (4,1) 1 Hall’s Frithgarth Jack Frost, best mover in this class, nice shape of head, correct ear carriage, scissor bite, dark eyes, clean front, good rib to loin, easily spanned, good tailset, presented in good condition; 2 Moore’s Moonreapers Billy Bones, masculine dog, good front, easily spanned, loose pelt. Needs to settle; 3 Samway’s Cassacre Outrider. OD (5,1) 1 Farrow’s Ch Glenholm Happy Go Lucky, very worthy ch, have admired this masculine dog for some time & on putting my hands on him he came up to all my expectations, in great coat, wedged shaped head with dark pigmentation, dark eyes, strength in jaw with scissor bite, good earset, good neck into good lay of shoulders, good clean front, balanced rib to loin ratio, easily spanned, loose pelt, correct tail carriage, muscular rear giving drive, moved around the ring demanding his place. CC & BOB; 2 Tagg’s Rymshott Tac Tic, masculine dog who moved with drive, good balanced head with scissor bite, correct earset, dark eyes, good lay of shoulder, easily spanned, loose pelt, good front, muscular rear, presented well; 3 Sollis’ Mister Bonamonty. VB (3,1) 1 Moore’s Moonreapers Matilda, feminine with dark eyes, scissor bite, good slope of neck, nice feet, still spannable, moved the steadiest of the two in the class; 2 Stark’s Gobannium Midsummer Nights Dream, feminine bitch with good head, dark eyes, just showed her age, gave way to younger veteran. PB (4,2) 1 Smith’s Bethane Liberton Lassie, balanced feminine head, dark eyes & pigmentation, scissor bite, clean front, easily spanned, good rib to loin, muscular rear, presented well; 2 Bigland’s Pacolito Phirstrater, feminine bitch with dark eyes, scissor bite, straight front, easily spanned, loose pelt, presented well. JB (2,1) 1 Guppy’s Aurgwen Margurite, good wedged shaped head, correct earset, dark eyes, scissor bite, would prefer better rear action. PGB (3,2) 1 Samways & Lewis’ Cassacre Red Duster, good wedged shaped feminine head, scissor bite, dark eyes with dark pigmentation, nice earset, good front, neat feet, easily spanned, loose pelt, good tailset, in good condition. LB (8,2) 1 Samway’s Saucy Nancy Cassacre, well presented feminine bitch with dark eyes, strong scissor bite, good earset, wedged shaped head, clean front, good lay of shoulders, neat rib to loin ratio, correct tail carriage, easily spanned, loose pelt, muscular rear, moved with drive, pushed hard for top awards; 2 Bull & Stark’s Clauval Japonica Lady, feminine, carried all the good points of 1, in good coat, moved with drive; 3 Denby-Gardner’s Ammanday Apparition. OB (6) 1 Vaughan’s Ch Parruss Star Spangled, worthy ch, very feminine wedged shaped head with dark eyes & pigmentation, good earset, scissor bite, nice slope of neck, good lay of shoulders, easily spanned, loose pelt, neat feet, clean front, good rib to loin, correct tail carriage, presented well in good coat, muscular rear, moved with confidence. CC; 2 Farrow’s Halshimoor Final Fling, very feminine with correct head, good earset, dark eyes with dark pigmentation, scissor bite, nice slope of neck, good shoulder placement, clean front, neat feet, easily spanned, loose pelt, good rib to loin ratio, good tail carriage, muscular rear, moved with drive. RCC; 3 Higgin’s Pacolito Dymanti Prima Dona. |
