NORTHERN PARSON RUSSSELL TERRIER CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW
SUNDAY 19TH OCTOBER 2014
JUDGE: MRS SARA NIXON (GONETOGROUND)
I was honoured to be given the opportunity to award my first set of “tickets” at the NPRTC Championship Show and I would like to thank the Officers and Committee for a lovely day, and the exhibitors for their support. Also many thanks to my Steward Arthur Cuthbertson and all those working so hard behind the scenes to keep everything running like clockwork.
I found most exhibits easy to span although there were one or two with deep chests and short sternums, not desirable for a working dog. Most presented with plenty of coat, although some were lacking in undercoat. On the whole mouths were good. Movement is still a concern, some with restricted movement in front and others lacking correct driving action from behind. This breed should have an economical, effortless ground covering stride, choppy front action is undesirable.
