Also, a big thank you to the very capable stewards who helped me with the organisation of the entries and paperwork. Also, many thanks to the exhibitors who entered their dogs (38) and accepted my judgment and their sportsmanship. PD (3) 1. Smith Bellvalley Blackhawk of Alncroft, 11 months old, young dog, very flashy, well balanced with a wonderful head, nice well-set ears, correct stop, nice dark eye, good muzzle and teeth. Very nice neck which goes into a topline that could be a little firmer, good tailset and erect tail. Body with enough depth and substance, spannable. Nice angulation in front and rear. Good-boned legs and nice feet. Very good double coat. Moves very well, fluently and parallel. 2. Woods Glen Wayward Rumble, 1 year old dog, lovely size and shape with a nice head, nice earset and ears, nice shaped dark eye, good muzzle and teeth. Nice neck, well laid-back shoulders. Topline could be better and also the tailset. Front and rear angulation are OK. He is spannable. Nice boned legs and feet. Good rough double coat. Moves correctly but lacks practice. JD (2) 1. Mitchell Foxfur Espionage for Rodzina, 18 months old dog of excellent breed type, well balanced, complete white with two tan ears. He has a nice head with nice earset and very well-placed little tan ears. Nice dark eyes, so well pigmented. Good muzzle with excellent teeth and such a kind expression. Nice neck which ends in a clean front assembly with parallel forelegs. Nice ribcage and spannable. Good topline with good tailset and tail. Correct boned legs with compact feet. Nice angulation in front and rear. Very good rough pelt. He moves very well, parallel, with good reach and drive. He was very well presented. He became RD. 2. Prey Teare Zaracle Stirrup Style, 9 months old, nice dog, very masculine but much too tall in size. Masculine head with good earset and ears, nice dark eye, would like more stop, strong muzzle and teeth. Nice neck, topline, tailset and tail. Nice angulation in front and rear. Correct boned legs and feet, nice rough coat. Moves correctly with good drive. Overall nice dog but tall! LD (5,2) 1. Woods Wayward Timeless JW, 18 months old dog with a very nice masculine head, nice earset and ears, nice dark eye and strong muzzle with good teeth. Nice neck which goes fluently into a good topline and tailset. He is spannable. Angulation in front is OK, rear could be better angulated. Nice boned legs and feet. Excellent rough coat. Excellent mover, fluent with good drive. Needs a little more practice. 2. Manson Vienview Top Dollar, 11 months old dog with a nice masculine head, nice dark eyes, nice ears which are very well set, strong muzzle and good teeth, would like more stop. Nice neck which goes into well laid-back shoulders. Topline could be a bit firmer, good tailset and tail. Nice angulation in front and rear with good-boned legs and feet. Not spannable. Excellent coat. Moves very well. Pity he is too tall for the breed. OD (6,1) 1. Manson Fuller, Peterman, Am GCH Or CH Lux CH Int Ch Heir Apparent, almost 6 years old dog. Very nice male of good size, well balanced and excellent breed type. Very nice masculine head with nice ears and earset, nice dark alert eye, good stop with a strong muzzle. Excellent expression. Lovely arched neck of good length which goes into well laid shoulders. Good topline, tailset and erect tail. Nice angulation in front and rear, good ribcage, good-boned parallel legs and nice compact feet. Spannable. Coat of excellent texture. Moves very well, fluently with good drive, parallel in front and back. He became my DCC. 2. Smith Ch Heythrop Task Master for Alncroft, almost 8 year old dog. Very masculine male, nicely balanced and excellent breed type. Very nice deep tan masculine head with nice earset and ears, nice dark eye, good stop, strong muzzle with good teeth. Good shape and length of neck into well laid-back shoulders, firm level topline with a well-set tail, but I would like to see the tail carried more level. Nice body with a good ribcage, spannable. Well angulated in front and rear. Good strong-boned legs with nice feet. Would have liked a stronger, sounder move with more drive and happiness in the ring. PB (1) 1. Woods Vixenview Top Tier at Wayward, very smart and feminine 1-year-old bitch, nice balanced body. Lovely feminine head with sweet expression, nice ears which are well set. Nice dark eye with pretty expression. Good muzzle and teeth. Neck of good length, slightly toned, set into well laid-back shoulders. Nice topline with a good tailset and erect tail. Nice ribcage and, of course, spannable. Well-boned legs and nice feet. Nice angulation in front and rear. A lot of presence in the ring. Moves like a future star. JB (1) 1. O’Prey Teare Zoracle Sister Act, 9 months old, very nice bitch with a very nice feminine head, nice ears and earset, nice dark eye, well-developed muzzle. Nice neck, nice topline, tailset and erect tail. Good ribcage and spannable. Nice boned parallel legs. Nice angulation in front and rear. Good double coat. Moves very well but lacks a bit of confidence. PGB (3,2) 1. Deveney Liverpool Luck, pretty bitch of 9 months old with a very nice tricolour head, nice earset and ears, dark eye with lovely expression, strong muzzle with good teeth. Good length of neck into sloping shoulders, good topline with a high-set erect tail carriage. Well-boned straight forelegs and muscular hindquarters with good bone that I would like to see more angulated. Spannable. Nice compact feet. Nice double coat. Moves very well. Needs a bit more confidence. LB (6) 1. Roberts Cassjoebar Caledonia from Mindlen JW, nice in type, 16 months old bitch with a very feminine head, nice earset and alert small ears, nice expressive eyes, good muzzle and teeth. Nice neck which goes into a nice shoulder. Nice topline with a good tailset and tail. Nice ribcage, spannable. Good rough coat. Nice boned parallel forelegs; feet could be a bit more compact. Nice angulation in front and rear. Moves very well and fluently. For Best Bitch she didn’t want to stay properly; pity. 2. Baker Pacolito Going Fur Gold at Cassjoebar, also a nice breed-typed bitch of 16 months, stronger build and not so feminine as the first one. Dark tan coloured head with good earset and ears, nice dark eye, strong muzzle and teeth. Nice arched neck. Topline could be firmer and is a bit too long, with a well-set tail and tail. Good ribcage, spannable. Angulation in front and rear are nice. Nice boned parallel legs; feet could be more compact. Very good rough coat. Moves very well. OB (7) 1. Manson Vixenview Pearl Sugar, excellent example of the breed without any exaggeration. Very nice feminine head with good earset and very mobile small ears. Nice dark eye, well pigmented, strong short muzzle with a good stop, good teeth. Nice arched neck which goes into a well laid-back shoulder. Strong level topline with a good tailset and erect tail. Nice ribcage, spannable. Good boned parallel forelegs with nice compact feet. Very well angulated in front and rear. Good quality coat. Moves very well, parallel and fluently, with good drive. Became my BB. 2. Poland Int NL BelVdh Lux Ch Plappermäulchen’s Brown Eyed Girl, strong female but in breed type. Nice tan head with a good earset and ears that I would prefer smaller. Nice dark eye, strong muzzle with good teeth. Nice long arched neck which goes into a well laid-back shoulder. Strong level topline with a good tailset and erect tail. Very nice angulation in front and rear. Spannable. Nice parallel boned forelegs with nice compact feet. Moves very well, fluently and with drive. Very nicely handled. Became my RBB. VB (3,1) 1. Hobson Ch Alncroft Isle See, really nice 10-year-old bitch in super condition, with a nice tan head, good earset and ears, nice dark eye, good muzzle with nice teeth. Nice neck which goes into a well laid-back shoulder, good and firm topline with a good tailset and erect tail. Nice angulation in front and rear, nice boned legs with nice feet. Very good quality coat. She moves very well and is shown in excellent condition. Congratulations on this old lady. She became BVB. 2. Shelton Boultmoor True Delight, 14 years old lady also in good condition, with a nice feminine head, nice dark eye, good earset and ears, good muzzle and teeth. Nice neck with good topline and tailset; tail could be a little happier. Nice ribcage, good angulation in front and rear. For her body she could have a bit more bone; nice feet. Very nice coat. First, I have to thank the Manchester Dog Show committee for inviting me to judge the Parson Russell Terrier. Also, a big thank you to the very capable stewards who helped me with the organisation of the entries and paperwork. Also, many thanks to the exhibitors who entered their dogs (38) and accepted my judgment and their sportsmanship.

PD (3)

1. Smith Bellvalley Blackhawk of Alncroft, 11 months old, young dog, very flashy, well balanced with a wonderful head, nice well-set ears, correct stop, nice dark eye, good muzzle and teeth. Very nice neck which goes into a topline that could be a little firmer, good tailset and erect tail. Body with enough depth and substance, spannable. Nice angulation in front and rear. Good-boned legs and nice feet. Very good double coat. Moves very well, fluently and parallel.

2. Woods Glen Wayward Rumble, 1 year old dog, lovely size and shape with a nice head, nice earset and ears, nice shaped dark eye, good muzzle and teeth. Nice neck, well laid-back shoulders. Topline could be better and also the tailset. Front and rear angulation are OK. He is spannable. Nice boned legs and feet. Good rough double coat. Moves correctly but lacks practice.

JD (2)

1. Mitchell Foxfur Espionage for Rodzina, 18 months old dog of excellent breed type, well balanced, complete white with two tan ears. He has a nice head with nice earset and very well-placed little tan ears. Nice dark eyes, so well pigmented. Good muzzle with excellent teeth and such a kind expression. Nice neck which ends in a clean front assembly with parallel forelegs. Nice ribcage and spannable. Good topline with good tailset and tail. Correct boned legs with compact feet. Nice angulation in front and rear. Very good rough pelt. He moves very well, parallel, with good reach and drive. He was very well presented. He became RD.

2. Prey Teare Zaracle Stirrup Style, 9 months old, nice dog, very masculine but much too tall in size. Masculine head with good earset and ears, nice dark eye, would like more stop, strong muzzle and teeth. Nice neck, topline, tailset and tail. Nice angulation in front and rear. Correct boned legs and feet, nice rough coat. Moves correctly with good drive. Overall nice dog but tall!

LD (5,2)

1. Woods Wayward Timeless JW, 18 months old dog with a very nice masculine head, nice earset and ears, nice dark eye and strong muzzle with good teeth. Nice neck which goes fluently into a good topline and tailset. He is spannable. Angulation in front is OK, rear could be better angulated. Nice boned legs and feet. Excellent rough coat. Excellent mover, fluent with good drive. Needs a little more practice.

Very nice masculine head with nice ears and earset, nice dark alert eye, good stop with a strong muzzle. Excellent expression. Lovely arched neck of good length which goes into well laid shoulders. Good topline, tailset and erect tail. Nice angulation in front and rear, good ribcage, good-boned parallel legs and nice compact feet. Spannable. Coat of excellent texture. Moves very well, fluently with good drive, parallel in front and back. He became my DCC.

Very nice angulation in front and rear. Spannable. Nice parallel boned forelegs with nice compact feet. Moves very well, fluently and with drive. Very nicely handled. Became my RBB.

VB (3,1)

1. Hobson Ch Alncroft Isle See, really nice 10-year-old bitch in super condition, with a nice tan head, good earset and ears, nice dark eye, good muzzle with nice teeth. Nice neck which goes into a well laid-back shoulder, good and firm topline with a good tailset and erect tail. Nice angulation in front and rear, nice boned legs with nice feet. Very good quality coat. She moves very well and is shown in excellent condition. Congratulations on this old lady. She became BVB.

2. Shelton Boultmoor True Delight, 14 years old lady also in good condition, with a nice feminine head, nice dark eye, good earset and ears, good muzzle and teeth. Nice neck with good topline and tailset; tail could be a little happier. Nice ribcage, good angulation in front and rear. For her body she could have a bit more bone; nice feet. Very nice coat. Moves very well for her age and, for the owner, she is still very happy to be in the ring. Congratulations on her nice condition!
