PARSON JACK RUSSELL LEEDS 11 Judge: Mr Roger Bigland PARSON JACK RUSSELL JUDGE LEEDS 11 Parson Russell Terriers 1 Baker’s Pacolito Prymeval, nice well developed puppy, pleasing topline & tailset, good masculine head with correct bite, moved well with plenty of drive. BP; 2 Hooley’s Hoolmark Sundance Kid, not the bone of 1 but nicely proportioned head with good bite, narrow front, good shoulder, harsh coat, moved well; 3 Newport’s Digaden Playing Away. JD (2) 1 Copping’s Pagantail Plato at Rutaaro, well put together, nice head, good shoulder & front, good coat & movement; 2 Digaden Playing The Field, stronger dog with good bone & head, strong muzzle, correct earset & bite. Not as good a front as 1 but harsh coat, moved well. PGD (2) 1 Broadberry’s Ratscallion Tactical Move, compact dog with plenty of coat, well angulated rear giving drive on the move. Would prefer a stronger head on a male dog; 2 Roberts & Murray’s Ardencote Tangle with Mindlen, smooth dog in very good condition, correct bite, nice head, moved & shown well by his young handler. LD (2) 1 Liddell’s Alncroft Arctic, good strong head with powerful jaw & bite, correct earset, nice neck & shoulder leading to good topline & tailset, moved with ease; 2 Baker’s Spellbert Supersonic via Pacolito, nicely proportioned dog with strong head & jaw, good hind angulation which comes from correct topline & tailset. Not the shoulder of 1 but moved adequately. OD (5) 1 Vaughan’s Ch Parruss Comanche Chief, this dog ticked all the boxes for me, beautifully proportioned, strong head, sharp expression, correct bite, good lay of shoulder, with straight front, catlike feet, correct topline & tailset, good angulation giving ease of movement, good harsh coat. CC & BOB; 2 Hooley’s Ch Hoolmark Johnny Ringo, similar comments to 1, slightly more coat, after a lot of deliberation it was the front that gave 1 the nod. RCC; 3 Swift & Parr’s Spellbert Captain Jack. 1 Newport’s Digaden Playing Truent, nicely proportioned bitch, nice head with good earset, lovely neck & shoulder, topline & tailset, well angulated, moved easily; 2 Broadberry’s Portleberry Forget Me Not, not the head of 1 but has a correct mouth, good weatherproof coat, moved OK; 3 Baker’s Pacolito Milarki. JB (3) 1 Smith & Moon’s Alncroft In Gold, workmanlike bitch, sharp expression, strong jaw with correct bite, good shoulder, front & feet, correct tailset. Would prefer a little less rear angulation. Moved OK; 2 Neild’s Logierait Little Lotte, excellent condition, nice head, good coat, moved with ease. PGB (5) 1 Liddell’s Janes Lass, strong boned bitch with good head, powerful jaw & bite, weatherproof coat. Lacked drive on the move; 2 Towler’s Andralok Dazzler, not the head of 1 but good neck & shoulder, excellent condition & shown well; 3 Gillard’s Pacolito Proposal. LB (2) 1 Baker’s Pacolito Persistant, well proportioned head, strong muzzle, good coat in excellent condition & well shown as were all the dogs from this kennel; 2 Ilexquercus Rosy Rustic, shorter coupled bitch, sharp expression with good bite, good topline & tailset, harsh coat, moved with ease. OB (6) 1 Newport’s Ch Pacolito Pathfinder, real workmanlike bitch, very strong head with broad muzzle & jaw, good shoulders, front & feet, correct topline & tailset, well muscled hindquarter with excellent angulation giving flowing movement. CC; 2 Baker’s Pacolito Persuit, many attributes of 1, not quite the substance & condition but a lovely bitch excellently shown. RCC. |
