PARSON JACK RUSSELL EAST OF ENGLAND 14 Judge(s): MRS S DAVIES Parson Russell Terriers I would first like to thank the show committee for my first appointment awarding CCs in PRTs. I had a truly enjoyable time. I would also like to thank the exhibitors for such a good entry in both quantity & excellent quality & for making the judging a truly pleasurable experience. All exhibits were spannable & rear movement was generally much better than the last time I judged the breed, I found some very good mouths. Sadly some coats had been recently stripped so looked a little sparse. Some exhibits were badly unsettled by the excessive barking coming from a nearby grooming area. PD (3,1a) 1 Rimmer’s Kylini Hocus Pocus, good overall shape, good coat, nice expression, moved well. Good angulation. Good backline & tailset. Should do well; 2 Wilson’s Pacolito Evolution, one who was very put off by the nearby noise. Nice make & shape, nice typical expression, movement difficult to assess but once settled should do well. JD (5) 1 Coogan’s Xaver vom Mutschenhof, good head & expression, good angulation, pleasing overall shape, clean neck, sound legs & feet. A little unsettled. RCC; 2 Kelly & Storey’s Andralok Ranger Rudi, good outline, correct head & expression, good muscle tone, nice ear placement. Moved OK; 3 Wilson’s Chataway Huntsman Spider. PGD (2,1) 1 Tullis’ Mindlen Rascal, very upset by the noise so movement impossible to assess. Nice expression, good coat, well placed ears. LD (2) 1 Bigland’s Heythrop Tailwind, nice head & expression, moved OK in spite of the noise, straight front, good shape, nice markings, clean neck, good muscletone; 2 Broadberry’s Ratscallion Tactical Move, nice coat, well marked, nice shape. Would just prefer slightly wider rear movement & a cleaner neck. OD (2) 1 Wilson’s Pacolito Highly Prized at Dragonmoor, excellent breed type, excellent head & expression, good coat, very pleasing outline, well marked. Excellent conformation, well muscled, clean neck, moved well coming & going. A worthy CC & BOB; 2 Vaughan’s Ch Parruss Comanche Chief, good coat, nice outline, clean neck, well handled, would just prefer slightly more positive front movement. PB (5) 1 Kelly & Storey’s Pacolito Phardante, very attractive puppy, excellent type, good coat, excellent head & expression, moving very well for her age, nice markings, one I could take home. RCC; 2 Rimmer’s Kylini Magical Myst, another promising puppy, good coat, nice head & expression, clean neck, straight front, unfortunate to meet 1 on the day; 3 Turlet’s Pacolito Mistress. JB (8,2) 1 Bull’s Rhymshott Goggles at Aurgwen, nice type, well marked, nice head & expression, good conformation, good outline, moved well; 2 Biggs’ Pacolito Phirsthand, another of good breed type with excellent outline, moved well, good coat, nice ear placement; 3 Newport’s Digaden Taylor Made. PGB (6,1) 1 Liddell’s Alncroft Sovereign at Lyonmill, good conformation, nice expression, clean neck, good angulation, moved OK; 2 Meyer’s Coclestane Cinnamon, similar attributes to one but just preferred the movement of 1; 3 Bigland’s Pacolito Phinal Phling. LB (5,1) 1 Baker & Swift’s Pacolito Redesigned, good breed type, lovely head & expression, moved very well, nice straight front, well muscled; 2 Sutton’s Alncroft Maid An Issue at Springbeck, another very nice bitch of good breed type, good coat, moved well; 3 Liddell’s Lyonmill Daydream. OB (8) What a lovely class! 1 Baker & Swift’s Pacolito Phirstedition, beautiful bitch of excellent breed type. Very good neck & shoulders, good outline, excellent conformation, lovely head & expression, moved very well. CC; 2 Newport’s Digaden Secret Affair, another from the top drawer. Good outline, well muscled, good ear placement, good angulation, well balanced, clean bite, moved well; 3 Bowden’s Araceta Beatrice from Pacolito. SHIRLEY DAVIES |
