Ably assisted by my excellent stewards, I thoroughly enjoyed running the rule over this lovely breed made all the more enjoyable with the sportsmanship and good humour of the exhibitors.

1st DIGADEN PLAYING AWAY (MR S & MRS J NEWPORT)….Lovely youngster who appealed for his balance & fluency owing to his quality of overall conformation. Well headed, excellent flowing lines with A1 forehand, good ribbing, well angulated, in excellent condition & muscling, showed well. BPIB
2nd PACOLITO PRYMEVAL (MR & MRS M & J BAKER)… Close up, excellent head & properties, good front & fore (layback could settle a touch to advantage), good body, well muscled, moved & showed well.

1st HEYTHROP TAILWIND (MR & MRS R & L BIGLAND)….lovely sort with cracking head & expression set of with good ears & eye, good underjaw, A1 front & fore, good body & rib, well turned stifle, presented in excellent condition, sound with good reach, just turned his left hock a touch.
2nd DIGADEN PLAYING THE FIELD (MR S & MRS J NEWPORT)…. Well headed, good front, shoulder to settle, good body & quarters, not putting all in.

1st PACOLITO PHORMULA ONE TO DRAGONMOOR (MRS A WILSON)….very good make & shape in a bigger frame as this boy doesn’t need to grow. Quality headpiece, excellent forehand, good body & well ribbed up, well presented in good condition & muscle.
2nd GARSAYNO MAGIC MAN (MR & MRS G & S JOHNSON)….Smaller end of the spectrum, quality head with excellent properties, straight front, good topline & angulation, showed well.

1st ALNCROFT BLACKTHORN (MRS K A & MRS M L SMITH & MOON)….Top quality of type & balance all through, with that sought after workmanlike look about him. A1 head, lovely earset, keen eye and powerful underjaw, excels in forehand, good ribbing and excellent thorax for heart & lung room, good turn of stifle, standing on well boned, strong legs and good tight feet, A1 coat & condition with great hardness of condition, triple A for movement as he just ate up the ground. Should have a bright future and do much for the breed. DCC & BOB.
2nd PARRUSS COMANCHE CHIEF SHCM (MRS L VAUGHAN)….Another of excellent overall quality, good headpiece with piercing eye, lovely ears bite & teeth, lovely transition through neck-shoulder-back, good topline, muscling & general condition, not the turn of stifle of winner but a quality sort nevertheless, moved & showed very well. Considered him for the RDCC. Will watch his career with interest.

1st SPELLBERT CAPTAIN JACK (MISS J & MR G SWIFT & PARR)….Great quality, type & balance with a cracking head & neat ears, excellent flow through forehand, good depth & ribbing, strong topline with supple loin, good angulation, presented in fine fettle he moved & showed well. RDCC
2nd CH HOOLMARK JOHNNY RINGO JW (MR M & MRS M HOOLEY)….Lots to like with a quality head, good ears & eye, straight front, not the layback or angulation of winner, good topline and set-on, a little light in quarters which could easily harden, well put down he showed well.

1st SPELLBERT CAPTAIN ALVILDA WITH PACOLITO (MISS J & MR G SWIFT & PARR)….The RDCC winner has really stamped himself on this quality daughter, quality head & expression with strong underjaw, bite & teeth, excellent, clean forehand, good body-shape & ribbing, excels in quarters & hardness of thigh & gaskin, moved & showed really well.
2nd PACOLITO MILARKI (MR & MRS M & J BAKER)….Close up, lovely sort, cracking headpiece with typical expression, well bodied with good ribbing, excellent condition & muscling all through, not quite the quarters of winner, moved & showed.

1st ALNCROFT IN GOLD (MRS K A & MRS M L SMITH & MOON)….Top quality youngster of balance & type which is not surprising as her sire is the DCC winner and she has so much of him. Same workmanlike appearance and conformation, bone & substance to underline her qualites, flowing lines with smooth transitions, standing on excellent legs & feet, typical fluency. Should have a bright future both in and out of the showring.
2nd HOOLMARK TIDY (MR & MRS H TAGG)….very close up and another lovely sort, excellent head & properties with strong underjaw, clean well made forehand, needs time for the middlepiece, good topline & tailset, good overall condition, moved & showed very well.

2nd PACOLITO PERSUIT (MR & MRS M & J BAKER)…So close up you could toss a coin. A really lovely sort, typical & balanced with luggins of quality, in prime condition, moved & showed well.

1st CH PACOLITO MAID A PHORTUNE AT SPRINGBECK (MR M & MRS G SUTTON)….I thought to myself that it would take something extra special to beat the first two in limit and then this one walked in! Completely dominated the ring on entrance and I couldn’t wait to give her the once over. No disappointments she is absolutely cracking all through with the very best of forehands & layback, AAA for muscling & condition and a dream mover to boot, she just effortlessly ate up the ground and could not be deined. BCC & after a close call BOS.
2nd PACOLITO PHLATTERY (MR & MRS M & J BAKER)….Typical, of much quality with a cracking head, good forehand, depth to well filled ribs, good angulation with excellent muscletone, just not so fluent or outgoing as the winner.
3rd CH HEYTHROP TIADROP (MR & MRS R & L BIGLAND)
