PARSON JACK RUSSELL JUDGE DRIFFIELD 10

Parson Russell Terriers

PD (2)

1 Copping’s Pagantail Plato at Rutaaro, 7 months t/w, good close coat, good dark eyes, easy to span with solid rearend, moved out well. Still a bit loose but only a baby, settled as day went on. BP;

2 Wilson’s Pacolito Phormula One, nearly 12 months, right up to size but still spannable, good straight front, showed well.

JD (3,2a)

1 Broadberry’s Ratscallion Tactical Move, t/w, good head, good pigment, good bone & tight feet. A bit short in neck for me. Strong rearend & good tailset & carriage. Unfortunately working the ground a bit too much.

YD (0).

PGD (2)

1 Chapman’s Foxwarren Finder, nice old fashioned tri, well muscled, keen & showy, good pigment, good strong bite, very spannable & flexible;

2 Frost, Copping & Davies’ Goldfern Grand Lad, larger all over, nice for type but not as spannable as 1. Good teeth & bite, moved & showed well, liked a lot but would prefer a shade smaller.

LD (0).

OD (1)

1 Farrows’ Ch Glenholm happy Go Lucky, with lovely head, dark eye, good nose & lip pigment, strong clean teeth with correct scissor bite, enough bone, good feet, easy span, went well on the move holding his topline, liked a lot. BOB.

GCD (2)

1 Doyle Alne Master Piece of Ilexquerus, 8½ years tri dog, strong type, good attitude, moved out well, enjoyed showing, very good bone, correct ear size, leathers & placement, correct bite, good sized tight feet, he was easily spannable, especially good in a dog of his age. RBD;

2 Kannangara’s Lenacourt Lunar Eclipse, 11½ years mainly white dog, right up to size but still spannable, good head shape, with strong bite, good pigment to eye, nose & lips, good for age. Not happy unfortunately so didn’t move as well as he should.

PB (3,1a)

1 Chapman & Ferguson’s Foxwarren Lollipop, 10 months heavily marked tri colour bitch, very flexible & easy to span, lovely head type, very dark eyes, good nose pigment, good mouth, nice double coat, good on move with lovely attitude;

2 Davies’ Cassacre Sea Shell at Elfinhall, spannable, t/w bitch, good feet, correct head shape, moved out well & handled well. Was unhappy about being handled by me so hard to judge finer points & I didn’t want to force the issue & spoil her.

JB (2)

1 Smith’s Bethane Liberton Lassie, 12 months white bitch, lovely head shape, with very dark eye, correct mouth & dark pigmented lips, has good bone, correctly set tail & tail carriage, fantastic close coat, nice tight feet, moved & showed herself really well. RBB;

2 Towler’s Andralock Dazzler, dark tri, lovely black, old fashioned head, looks at you right, good bite, & good pigment to eye, nose & lips, nice to see a classic tail spot too. Bigger all through but is still spannable, liked her a lot.

YB (2)

1 Towlers’ Andralock Dazzler; 2 Kannangara’s Sherosco Christmas Rose, smaller make, nice head & correct ears, t/w, good tailset, well muscled, easy span, moved & shown well.

PGB (1)

1 Frost & Copping’s Goldfern Grand Cru, tri bitch, up to size with good bone but easy span, good old fashioned head with dark pigment to eye, nose & lips, correct scissor bite, moved out well, holding tail & topline correctly, proper rise over loin with good muscle to back & legs, liked her a lot. BB.

LB (4,1)

1 Farrow’s Halshimoor Final Fling, tri colour, with true head shape, very dark eye & nose, correct bite, easy span & very flexible but well boned, good muscle, moved & shown well, good coat;

2 Rimmer’s Kylini Spellsabound, t/w. Would like a shade longer. Nice head & good teeth, spannable, very keen attitude & therefore could have been more settled on the table. Well held tail & tailset;

3 Lightfoot’s Middle moss The Only One.

OB (2,1)

1 Rimmer’s Kylini Mythanmyst, tri, moved out slightly uncoordinated. Shown well, good body proportions, good bite, nice ears, well pigmented, holding tail well, good rear muscle, spannable.

GCB (1)

1 Doyle’s Ilexquercus Rosy Rustic, tri, good head shape, strong & correct teeth, nice head & good neck, spannable, moved well but I have noted a bit ‘frisky’. Good pelt.
