Parson Russell Terriers

Although not a large entry numerically it was full of quality. The dogs were all very well presented & toned condition. A pleasure to judge.

VD

1 Brown & Grange’s Ch Badger, 9 years, in good order, nice head shape still with correct mouth, in good double coat with thick pelt, moved out well.

MPD (2)

1 Newport’s Digaden Playing Away, pleasing expression with good eye, well constructed throughout, good span, good coat with thick pelt, moved well.

PD (2)

1 Newport’s Digaden Playing The Field, good headed dog with keen expressive dark, almond shaped eyes, correct dentation, nice size & good body shape, straight front, easily spanned, good double coat & thick pelt, well balanced, moved with drive. BP & RCC;

2 Baker’s Pacolito Phlea Biscuit, another good headed pup. keen expression, nice body lines & well constructed. Not as positive in rear action as 1.

1 Hooley’s Hoolmark Sundance Kid, well balanced typical dog, nice size & span, lovely head with correct mouth, moves out with drive, shows well;

2 Hall’s Frithgarth Magic Sandpiper, good head, correct dentation with large teeth, nice balance & handles well. Steady mover & showed well but lost out on coat.

1 Wilson’s Pacolito Phormula One to Dragonmoor, typical throughout although up to size he spans well, nice head & good coat, moves out well with drive.

LD (2)

1 Hall’s Frithgarth Jack Frost, nice shape of head, good mouth. Nice type but up to size, just spannable. Moved well;

2 Johnson’s Garsayno Magic Man, smaller dog throughout with nice expression, good coat. Spanned OK, not moving well.

OD (3)

1 Hooley’s Ch Hoolmark Johnny Ringo, lovely headed typical dog, nice size with straight front, spans well, comes to hand well balanced, thick pelt with good double coat, in lovely condition, moved out with good drive, in tip-top order. CC & BOB;

2 Swift & Parr’s Spellbert Captain Jack, lovely headed dog, correct dentation, nice size & body lines, moves with drive & well handled. Pity he was out of coat otherwise would have been considered for higher placing.

1 Baker’s Spellbert Highly Rated, nice sized pup, neat head with good teeth, in good coat & condition, moved & showed very well;

2 Baker’s Pacolito Phinale, another nice puppy, lovely expression & good dentation, good coat with thick pelt, nice body lines. Preferred more drive of 1;

3 Minett’s Pacolito Seksy.

1 Newport’s Digaden Playing Truent, litter sister to Playing The Field & a very smart puppy, nice size for age, very balanced & typical, attractive head with good mouth, in good coat, moved & showed well.

1 Swift & Parr’s Spellbert Captain Alvilda, another nice youngster with a lot to like, nice size & rib spans well, good body lines in good coat & condition;

2 Chen’s Boultmoor Bella Eclipse, close to 1 all round, nice size & head. Not in coat;

3 Steel’s Kingpar Callista.

1 Gillard’s Pacolito Proposal, good head with dark eye giving keen expression, OK for neck & shoulder, thick pelt with double coat, spans well, moved with drive;

2 Towler’s Andralok Dazzler, nice size, good coated bitch, comes to hand well. Just preferred head 1;

3 Smith’s Bethane Liberton Lassie.

LB (5)

1 Steel’s Garsayno The Dancer, lighter framed bitch in good condition, good rib, handles well;

2 Baker’s Pacolito Numero One, good head, well made with good angulation, moves well. Preferred rib size of 1; 3 Newport’s Digaden Glamouruss.

OB (6)

Super bitches, any of whom could & will change places in future.

1 Swift & Parr’s Pacolito Picture Monkey, lovely quality bitch, nice size with good overall type & balance, good head & keen expression, correct mouth, well laid shoulder, spans well, in tip-top coat & condition, moves out with drive. CC, heard afterwards this gives her her title;

2 Roberts & Murray’s Mindlen Matuka, another lovely bitch, loved her type & size, feminine throughout with good body line. Just splitting hairs with 1. RCC;

3 Baker’s Pacolito Phlattery.
