PARSON RUSSELL JUDGE DARLINGTON 09

Parson Russell Terriers

Well, what a difference from last year with nice dry well cut rings & the sun shone all day.

The bitch entry was double that of the dogs with a mixture of different types & coats came in all conditions. A point to watch was the eye colour with far too many light ones. I was particularly pleased with my BOB winner who represented the breed well in the group.

VD (2,1a)

1 Rimmer’s Ch/Ir/Int Ch Kelini Celtic Wizard, old favourite of mine, still has a grand head, neat well set ears, dark eye, correct mouth full of strong clean teeth. This 9 years dog has been a terrific ambassador for the breed both here & on his travels abroad. In lovely condition, harsh double coat, in good nick & went well. BV.

1 Bygate’s Windynook Init To Winit, he was & he did, good puppy, nice expression, dark eye, good front, straight with neat feet, ribs back with thick pelt, in good coat. Played up a bit on the table but settled well moving true with good drive. BP;

2 Sheldon’s Jacksden Lord Nelson, fit youngster with good muscletone. Wouldn’t settle & played up, not the quality of 1. Good set on with nice length of tail.
