PARSON RUSSELL CRUFTS 26 Judge: Mr M Baker Firstly I would like to thank the Crufts committee for inviting me to judge, a great privilege, I enjoyed the experience and had a great day. Secondly the exhibitors who brought dogs for me to go over, because without them there would be no shows. GCDS D (2) 1 Ch Mindlen Hendricks at Cassjobar (Casson). Nice dog of a correct size, wedge shaped head quite broad, dark eye, strong jaws with correct bite, correct neck into shoulder, elbows free but close to the body, chest was easily spanned, strong loin slightly arched, loose pelt, nice rear angulation, moved well. 2 Hoolmark Ringo Starr at Olliebark (Pell). Another nice sized dog, good coat, dark eye and black nose, nice jaw, tapering neck, feet compact with firm pads, easy to span, top line with slight rise over loin, good tail set, just beaten by one on movement. JD (3) 1 Rushden Rogue Hero (Duke & Gill). A good example of a smooth coated dog, wedge shaped head, dark eye, correct ears, good bite, clean neck into shoulders that are well laid back, correct top line with slight rise over loin, strong rear well angulated giving good ground covering movement, handled well. 2 Amazing Palatinas Apollo Creed (Klien). A nice head with shallow stop, black nose and dark eye, strong jaw, front legs carried well under the body strong and straight, correct top line into well angled rear, good tail set, narrowly beaten on movement. 3 Fetedesmeres Pennsylvania (Hobbs). Another nice head with correct ear set, good bite and dark eye, good front and compact feet, correct top line and tail set, nice rear with second thigh, handled and moved well. YD (5) 1 Heythrop Tempura (Bigland). Nice well-made dog, wedge head and flat skull, dark correct shaped eyes, good bite and strong jaw, muscular neck widening and well set, good front with nice upper arm and strong pasterns, top line with slight rise over loin, well angled rear leading to a ground covering movement. Just missed out on RDCC. 2 Crosscop Claudiusat Mindlen (Newport). Nice head with good muzzle and correct bite, nice neck into well laid back shoulder, strong straight legs with good feet, good top line into well angled rear, harsh coat and loose pelt, moved and handled well. 3 Abysmal On A Mission for Scapegrace (Aspell & Dixon). Another nice head with dark eye and correct bite, muscular neck into correct front, ribs well back and strong back with rise over loin, nice rear angles, loose pelt, narrowly beaten on movement. PGD (2) 1 Bellvalley Blackhawk of Alncroft (Smith). A well-made dog of correct size, nice head with strong jaw and good bite, good neck into shoulder, front legs straight with flexible pasterns, good feet, correct top line and tail set, easily spanned, good rear angles with low set hocks, moved and handled well. 2 Chadbrook Prequal (Groom). Correct head with dark eye and black nose, good bite, nice neck into well laid shoulders, nice loose pelt, correct top line into muscular rear, compact feet with firm pads, narrowly beaten on movement. LD (7) 1 Heythrop Toptag (Bigland). A nice dog of a correct size, good head with v shaped ears of a medium thickness, good jaw and correct bite, good neck into shoulder with a nice upper arm, legs straight, good chest with ribs carried well back, easily spanned, nice top line into strong well angled rear, moved with drive. 2 Mindlen Kub (Kirby). Nice head with black nose and dark eye, correct bite, clean neck into shoulder with correct front, well spannable and in good coat, loose pelt, well-muscled rear with nice bend of stifle, just beaten on movement. 3 Forgefox Roll The Dice at Hoolmark (Hooley). Pleasing head with good ear set and dark eye, nice neck into shoulder, nice top line with slight rise over strong loin, another well angled rear leading to a balanced movement. OD (8,1) 1 Sui/Lux/Int/Fr Ch Unter Des Very Important Parson (Vierin). Up to size dog with good head, strong jaw and correct bite, dark eye almond shaped, powerful neck into shoulder with good length of upper arm, compact feet with firm pads, correct top line with rise over a strong loin, powerful well angled rear, a well- balanced movement with plenty of drive. RDCC. 2 Pol/Cze/Hun/Sk/Rom/Aut Ch Tokyo Revenger Equus (Wira). Another quality dog, nice wedge shaped head with flat skull, good bite, nice neck into shoulder with straight legs, elbows close to body, correct top line with strong back, nice rear angulation leading to a good ground covering movement. 3 Ch Partridgdale Flynn (Hobson). Nice sized dog that was easily spanned, pleasing head, strong neck widening into shoulder, correct front with flexible pasterns, correct back into muscular rear with good bend of stifle, moved and handled well. VD (7,1) 1 Int/Multi Ch Junior Top Russell Ww23, Euw 21/23/24 (Vilva). Super dog who stood out, great head with good v shaped ear, strong jaw and correct bite, good neck into long sloping shoulder well laid back, good length of upper arm, good strong back with a slight rise over loin, easily spanned, excellent rear angulation with good second thigh, great coat and loose pelt, moved with drive covering the ground easily. A real showman whose handler got the best out of him. DCC, BOB and BV. 2 Ch Heythrop Task Master for Alncroft (Smith). Another really good dog of correct size, good head with correct ear, good eye and black nose, correct bite, strong neck well set into shoulders, good front with legs carried well back under the body, powerful back and strong loin slightly arched, strong well angled rear leading to a ground covering movement. Narrowly beaten for RDCC by the Open Dog. 3 Digaden Top Hat and Tails (Smith). Pleasing dog who showed well, nice correct head, good neck and shoulder, nice front with elbows close to body, correct top line into well-muscled rear, nice bend of stifle, moved and handled well. GCDS B (4) 1 Digaden Top Notch (Smith). A well-presented bitch, feminine head with dark eye and good jaw, correct ear set and bite, good length of neck widening into shoulder, nice front with straight legs and flexible pasterns, easily spanned with strong back slightly arched, well angled rear leading to a good movement. 2 Chadbrook Enhance the Dance (Jones). Another nice bitch with a nicely proportioned head, correct bite and dark eye, nice length of neck into correct front, with elbows close to the body, easily spanned with ribs carried well back, nicely angled rear, moved and handled well. 3 Riosset Riddle Me This (Weeden). Correct head with good jaw and bite, nice ear set, nice neck into shoulder, legs straight compact paws and firm pads, nice top line into correct rear, loose pelt, moved without exaggeration but with drive. PB (1) 1 Scapegrace Ginny (Aspell & Dixon). A nice Puppy with good jaw dark eye and bite, clean neck into shoulder, well laid shoulders with legs carried well back, easily spanned and correct rise over loin, nice bend of stifle and rear angulation, moved with drive, handled well. BP. JB (4,1) 1 Tusiquevales Mai Tai (Alessio). A very nice bitch with feminine head, good bite and jaw with good ear set, shallow stop and dark eye, good length of neck into correct front with straight legs and flexible pasterns, strong back with correct rise over loin, well angled rear and moved with drive, handled well. 2 Rushden Devil Wears Prada (Duke & Gill). Well-proportioned feminine bitch, pleasing head with dark eye and correct bite, correct front with elbows close to the body, back straight and flexible with nice tail set, well angled rear, moved and handled well. 3 Alma of Melomani's Parson (Loez & James). Another pleasing bitch with nice ear set and correct bite, nice neck into shoulder and correct top line, strong loin slightly arched, well-muscled rear with well bent stifle, narrowly beaten on movement. YB (3) 1 Tusiquevales Mai Tai (Alessio) As Junior Bitch. 2 Bel/Swiss Ch Vinca Breizh De La Vallee Du Bois Riou (Balcou). Well-made bitch with a lot to offer, strong head with good bite and dark eye, pleasing neck into well laid shoulder, nice front with straight legs, correct rise over loin and good rear angulation, narrowly beaten on movement. 3 Shemist Storm Lily (Stock). Another pleasing bitch who needed time to settle, fair head proportions, good bite and ear set, easily spannable with strong back, nice tail set and low set hocks, this bitch will improve with maturity. PGB (8,1) 1 Bardrains Lady of Chadbrook (Shakeshaft & Mccluskey & Young). Mature bitch with a good head and strong jaw, correct bite and shallow stop, strong muscular neck, nice front with legs carried well back under body, good topline and tail set, strong loin with slight rise, powerful well angled rear giving a free striding movement. 2 Liverpool Luck (Deveney) A nice smart working type bitch, wedge shaped head with flat skull, dark eye with correct ear set, powerful front with flexible pasterns, chest to point of elbow and slight rise over strong loin, nice rear angles, just beaten on movement. 3 Woodheale Fancy That (Steele). When settled this bitch gave a good account of herself, correct head and neck into shoulder, feet compact with firm pads, strong flexible back, nice stifle and tail set, moved and handled well. LB (9) 1 Cassjoebar Caledonia from Mindlen JW (Roberts & Murray). A very nice bitch with a good wedge shaped head, dark eye and correct ear set, muscular neck into shoulder with nice length of upper arm and elbows close to body, good top line with rise over loin, strong muscular well angled rear giving plenty of drive. RBCC. 2 Heythrop Tangletop (Bigland). Another bitch who showed well, nice head and correct bite, nice front with straight legs, easily spanned, correct topline with ribs carried well back, nice stifle with low set hocks, skin thick and loose, narrowly beaten on movement. 3 Draytogo Vienna (Krimmel). This bitch was shown and handled well, pleasing head with correct bite, correct front cleanly cut at withers, easily spanned with correct top line, well-muscled rear leading to a straight movement. OB (13,4) 1 Int/Ger/Kft/Nld/Be/Lux Ch Plappermaulchen's Brown Eyed Girl (Pohland & Huis). A super bitch who caught my eye as she entered the ring, good head with strong jaw and correct bite, dark eye and good ear, clean neck into shoulder, good upper arm with legs well back under the body, strong flexible pasterns and good feet, good top line with rise over strong loin, good rear angulation with well- developed second thigh and low set hocks, moved in an un-exaggerated ground covering stride with drive. Very well handled. BCC. 2 Heythrop Topsyturvey (Bigland). Nice sized bitch with correct head proportions, good bite and jaw, dark eye and correct ear set, nice neck tapering into shoulder, good shoulder placement and strong straight legs, easily spanned with correct top line, nice stifle giving an easy balanced movement. 3 Fr/Int/Lux/Sui/Mco Ch Sushi Des Very Important Parson (Vierin). Another good example of this breed, pleasing head with shallow stop, correct ear set, strong neck into shoulder, legs straight with elbows close to body, nice top line and tail set, powerful rear well angled giving a smooth movement. VB (7) 1 Ch Mindlen Moccasin (Roberts & Murray). Well-made bitch, strong head with correct bite, good ear set and correct eyes, shoulders well laid back with nice upper arm, ribs carried well back and easily spanned, strong back with rise over loin, muscular rear with good bend of stifle leading to a relaxed easy ground covering movement, handled well. 2 Ch Alncroft Isle See (Hobson). Another fine old lady, black nose and dark eye, good bite and ear set, correct front with straight legs and flexible pasterns, flexible back with powerful loin slightly arched, nice tail set and rear angles, in good coat with loose skin, moved easily with plenty of drive. 3 Boultmoor True Delight (Shelton). An old lady who still has ring presence, strong head and jaw, correct bite, nice shoulder and front, correct top line with ribs carried well back, easily spanned, muscular rear, in good coat, moved and handled well.
