PARSON RUSSELL JUDGE BLACKPOOL 18

A small but quality entry. I thoroughly enjoyed my judging and would like to thank the committee for the invite, my stewards for their help and the exhibitors who came on the day.

JD (2,1)

1 Bobby's Ansabak Ryn. Has a good topline and tailset, which he carries well when moving. Nice head and keen expression. For me, he's a little deep in profile but was spannable. Movement needs to settle in the ring - at times it was a little erratic. BJ.

LD (1)

1 Smith and Moon's Heythrop Trickshot for Alncroft. Stood alone in this class but also shouted quality. Well shown and presented. A beautifully balanced dog who Is a great size and has a lovely strength of head and alert expression. Easily spanned with a good strong front. Had the best movement on the day - he moved with real purpose and drive - was very pleased to award him DCC (his third!) and then BOB.

OD (2)

1 Roberts and Young's Ch. Chadbrook Roux. A dog I have often admired. Lovely size, and balance - he is easily spanned. Good coat - presented well. Has a great topline and tailset which he carries well on the move. Lovely strength of head. Had the best movement in the class. Would have preferred a slightly tighter front but was happy to give him the RDCC.

2 Broadberry's Mindlen Magnum at Ratscallion. Another smart boy with lots to like. Has a good head and expression, correct mouth and was easily spanned. Showed well. Preferred the overall size of 1.

PB (2)

1 Smith and Moon's Alncroft in a Spin. Only 7mths and still very much a baby who needs time to settle. Lots of potential though. Has a lovely feminine head with good topline and tailset when moving. Easily spanned. Look forward to seeing how she progresses. BP

LB (4,1)

1 Hobson's Alncroft Isle See. Well balanced Bitch, very showy. Has a lovely strength of head and good reach of neck. Correct mouth. Great coat which was well presented. Good topline and tailset, held well on the move. RBCC

2 Roberts and Murray's Mindlen Muskett. Another showy Terrier…lots to like in terms of her head, expression, coat etc….but movement not as strong as 1 on this occasion. 3 Nield's Logerait Lambie Lalley.

OB (5,1)

1 Tinegate's Milvinae All Aboard. Lovely size with a good coat and nice tight feet. She was easy to span and is a well balanced Bitch with good topline and tailset. Good reach of neck. Strong feminine head with keen expression. She has a pleasing outline and moved the best in the class today. Happy to award her BCC.

2 Rimmer's Ir Ch Kylini Mona Lisa IR Jun Ch JE ShCM. Another well balanced bitch who made the decision difficult for me. Great size. Pleasing head shape, with good reach of neck. Easily spanned. Moved well but not with quite the drive of 1.

3 Smith and Moon's Ch Alncroft Tussle
