PARSON RUSSELL BLACKPOOL 16 Judge(s): MISS KAREN RIMMER Parson Russell Terriers PD (2) 1 Baker’s Pacolito Protolythic, t/w, short coated dog, good head planes, correct bite, would like ears a little smaller. Clean shoulder, enough bone, tight feet, spannable, good hind angulation, moved OK; 2 Young’s Chadbrook Roux, t/w rough coated dog, good head, dark eye, good reach of neck to well laid shoulders, spannable, plenty hind angulation, a bit erratic on the move but should settle. JD (2) 1 Roberts & Murray’s Mindlen McAllan, tri dog, well up on size, but still just spannable, strong head, good earset, plenty reach of neck, harsh coat, thick pelt. Bit of a fidget on the table but settled & moved well; 2 Storey & Kelly’s Mindlen Arran at Brizanrae, tri dog with broad masculine head, dark eye, correct bite. A tad difficult to span. Well angulated in rear, topline could be better. LD (6,2a) 1 McCluskey’s Chadbrook Rocket, t/w dog, good masculine head, dark eye, correct bite, plenty of neck, good bone & tight feet, spannable, topline good rise over loin, moved in workmanlike manner; 2 Aspell & Dixon’s Logierait Loki, shown in rough coat, pleasing outline, good head, ears a tad small, dark eye, correct bite, spannable with good angulation fore & aft, moved well, could swap with 1 on another day, moved OK. OD (5,1) 1 Broadberry’s Foxthorn Huron at Ratscallion, tri dog, excellent head & expression, very pleasing outline, cheeky expression, easy to span with harsh coat & thick pelt, clean shoulder, tight feet, moved with drive & purpose. CC & BOB; 2 Roberts & Todd’s Rustic Russell Thor, tri dog, slightly lighter build than 1 but still good head, dark eye, correct ear, tad longer in muzzle, clean shoulder, easy to span, moved out well. RCC; 3 Whiteley’s Sunrock And Russell Yard’s Made In America. PB (4,1) 1 Young’s Chadbrook Electra, a very eyecatching, very promising puppy, feminine head, good earset, twinkle to the eye, very easy to span, great hind angulation, commanded attention on the move, which was smooth with plenty drive. BP & BJ; 2 Baker’s Pacolito Protocool, t/w bitch, slightly mare compact than 1, harsh coat, easy to span, would like a little more rise over loin, moved out well; 3 Newport’s Digaden Just So. JB (2) 1 Newport’s Digaden Made To Measure, dark t/w, very pretty head & expression, correct bite, good reach of neck, enough bone, tight feet, enough hind angulation, spannable, rough coat, thick pelt, moved out in a workmanlike manner; 2 Aspell & Dixon’s Chadbrook Lady Sahara, tri bitch, a touch lighter in type, feminine head, correct bite, dark eye, a touch up on shoulder & lacking coat, moved out well enough. LB (7,3) 1 Broadberry’s Alncroft In Tune at Ratscallion, tri bitch, pleasing outline, feminine head, dark eye, good expression, short harsh coat, easy to span, just enough hind angulation, correct tailset, moved out very well coming & going. RCC; 2 Young’s Plunkett Cora, rough coated tri bitch, cheeky expression, good earset, easy to span, clean lines, enough hind angulation, liked her a lot, but she refused to settle today; 3 Smith & Moon’s Alncroft Isle See. OB (9,3) 1 Smith & Moon’s Alncroft In Gold, dark t/w rough bitch, short dense coat, in hard condition, feminine head, great lines, easy to span, correct topline & tailset, workmanlike drive on the move, delighted to later find out this was her third CC; 2 Storey & Kelly’s Pacolito Phardante, t/w rough coat bitch, pleasing head, correct bite, well angulated fore & aft, spannable, moved out well; 3 Price’s Andralok Faith.
