PARSON JACK RUSSELL BLACKPOOL 11 Judge(s) MR JOHN BUNTING DCC SPELLBERT CAPTAIN JACK (MISS J & MR G SWIFT & PARR) Parson Russell Terriers PD (4) 1 Hooley’s Hoolmark Sundance Kid, smart youngster of nice size, good workmanlike type, full of life, liked his head shape, dark eye, clean narrow front, well angulated forequarters, easily spanned, ideal body for age, shapely quarters. Once settled moved OK. BP; 2 Walker’s Kylini Christopher Robin, still very much a baby, lacking confidence on the table but he is only 6½ months. Undoubtedly needs to gain more ring experience. Handy size, nice well marked head. Just needs time. JD (2) 1 Newport’s Digaden Playing The Field, promising puppy of 8½ months, pleases in type, very good head proportions, well shaped dark eye, bright intelligent expression, nicely constructed, correct rib, good bone & feet, enough angulation, moved freely; 2 Roberts & Murray’s Mindlen Mcflurry, up to size & mature for age but spannable. Typy head, dark keen eye, harsh coat, good pelt, topline, set on & quarters, moved quite well. LD (7) 1 Baker’s Spellbert Supersonic via Pacolito, nicely constructed & balanced youngster, handy size, pleasing head of correct proportions, good muzzle & underjaw, straight front, good shoulder placement, ribs carried well back, pleasing topline & set on, quarters developing well, moved soundly on good feet; 2 Johnson’s Garsayno Magic Man, much to like, ideal size, good coat texture & bone, spans easily. Liked his well shaped head, ear placement, correct length & strength of muzzle, clean front, good layback of shoulder, well turned quarters, moved well; 3 Newport & Baker’s Ratscallion Tactical Play. OD (3) 1 Swift & Parr’s Spellbert Captain Jack, very good type, nothing exaggerated, well balanced, clean quality skull, good strength of muzzle, nicely boned, good legs & feet, liked his outline, scores in neck, shoulders & body, ribs well back to correct loin, effective shapely quarters, free & active on the move. CC; 2 Hooley’s Ch Hoomark Johnny Ringo, quality dog, very similar to 1 in type size & balance. Excellent head, lovely alert keen expression, pleasing bone, feet & forequarters, easily spanned, enough body depth & length, well let down hocks, moved well as expected with this conformation, on his toes at all times. Close decision. RCC. PB (7) 1 Swift & Parr’s Spellbert Captain Alvilda with Pacolito, very nice puppy of good size, clean flat skull, nicely set ears, dark keen eye, pleasing make & shape, spanned with ease, promising quarters, comes easily to hand, moved freely; 2 Bowden’s Pacolito Price To Pay at Chellowside, only 7 months but more than holding her own. Lots to like, very sound & well put together, lovely feminine head, good neck & shoulders, ideal body for age. Just needs time & should do well; 3 Newport’s Digaden Playing Truent. JB (2) 1 Steel’s Kingpar Callista, completely feminine, liked her head shape & keen eye, pleasing front, clean neck & outline, good length to height giving good balance, easily spanned, lively active mover; 2 Neild’s Logierait Lotte Laura, not long out of puppy. Nice size, good bone. A little proud of her tail. Typy head, dark eye, good bite, spans OK. Needs to settle on the move. LB (11) 1 Roberts & Todd’s Chataway Careless, feminine yet workmanlike young bitch of ideal size & good to span, eye catching outline, correct shoulder placement, conformation & balance, moderate depth of chest, good rib & loin, clean cut head, lovely expression, good tailset & carriage, fluent & active in movement. RCC; 2 Baker’s Pacolito Persistant, attractive type, nice size in complete balance, well proportioned feminine head enhanced by good dark eye & alert keen expression. Straight front, good length of neck & layback of shoulder, easily spanned, well ribbed back, adequate bend of stifle with mature quarters, moved out with drive & purpose, close up; 3 Walker’s Ammanday Apple. OB (8) 1 Roberts & Murray’s Mindlen Matuka, I have judged this bitch before & made her my BP, she has certainly fulfilled her early promise. It is hard to fault her conformation with beautiful head & expression, alert, active & agile on the move, responds well to handler. CC & BOB; 2 Baker’s Pacolito Phlattery, good wedge shaped head, dark keen eye, excellent bite, good strength of underjaw, sound well boned front, ribs carried well back, nicely developed quarters, moved well; 3 Newport’s Digaden Glamouruss.
