PARSON JACK RUSSELL BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 12 Judge(s) MRS LYNNE BULL DCC CH PARRUSS COMANCHE CHIEF JW SHCM (MRS L VAUGHAN) Parson Russell Terriers I was pleased to go over so many excellent examples of the correct type, though I will add that there were a few that were not spannable, an important characteristic of this working breed that demonstrates correct conformation. MPD (2) 1 Selby’s Jacksden Jimmyjack, rough coated youngster with plenty of bone, shoulders laid well back, nicely angulated at rear which shows in his correct movement. PD (4) 1 Denby-Gardner’s Ammanday Able, nicely shaped head with keen expression, good jaw, thick rough coat & pelt, great angulation, plenty of bone, strongly constructed & nicely balanced. Needs to settle down on the move; 2 Tagg’s’ Hoolmark Razzle Dazzle, lovely narrow front, attractive head with strong jaw & correct bite, good topline & tailset, moves well; 3 Selby’s Jacksden Jimmyjack. JD (0). PGD (1) 1 Hall’s Frithgarth Magic Sandpiper, strong head with correct bite, good length of body, strong back & well angulated hindquarters, good movement. LD (6) RCC, 1 Johnson’s Garsayno Magic Man, lovely old fashioned tri dog, pleasing topline, good jaw with a strong head, strongly constructed not over-sized & spannable. Has developed well since I gave him BP last time I judged him; 2 Hooley’s Hoolmark Sundance Kid, lovely expression, trim front, good length of body, nice tail carriage pleasing movement; 3 Sutton’s Pacolito Persona at Springbeck. OD (5) 1 CC & BOB, Vaughan’s Ch Parruss Comanche Chief, I was really pleased to see such an excellent example of the correct type & conformation, this dog oozes quality. Dark tri, with a keen expression, lovely head, narrow front, strong back & loins, giving excellent movement, great attitude; 2 Hooley’s Ch Hoolmark Johnny Ringo, nice tri dog with correct earset & dark eye, good mouth, narrow fronted with well laid back shoulders. Moves nicely; 3 Tagg’s Rymshott Strider. MPB (2) 1 BP, Hooley’s Hoolmark Boppin Robyn, attractive tri with a keen expression, nice narrow front & well laid back shoulders, good tailset, moved well in the class; 2 Finnigan’s Pacolito Phirstchoice of Jamafi, neat head, narrow front, nicely angulated & moves out well. PB (1) 1 Meyer’s Coclestane Cinnamon, pretty head, with a correct mouth & keen eye, trim front, good angulation & really great movement. JB (4) 1 Bigland’s Heythrop Tango, lovely tri of the right size, pleasing head & good bite, narrow front, great to span, good angulation & topline; 2 Denby-Gardner’s Ammanday Affinity, nice rough t/w bitch with a strong yet feminine head, balanced conformation giving great movement; 3 Broadberry’s Portleberry Forget Me Not. PGB (2) 1 White’s Ebblechase Elspeth, classic wedge shaped head with shallow stop & keen dark eye, good rough coat, balanced all round, moves out nicely; 2 Kannangara’s Sherosco Christmas Rose, pretty bitch, good size, a lovely mover, nice expression, narrow fronted & spannable. LB (5) 1 Farrow’s Halshimoor Final Fling, really nice typy tri, very pretty head good all over conformation, spannable & balanced, presented in great condition; 2 Smith’s Bethane Liberton Lassie, correct head, bright keen expression, nice reach of neck, the right size to span, neat topline & harsh coat; 3 Kannangara’s Parruss Twist of Lemon. OB (5) 1 CC, Tagg’s Hoolmark Tidy, in great condition, lovely head, keen eye, strong jaw with correct bite, nice narrow front & neat feet, good topline moves really well; 2 RCC, Pell’s Olliebark That’s My Girl, lovely example of the true type, great conformation, strong yet feminine head, well balanced lovely mover.
