AIREDALE JUDGE WELSH KENNEL CLUB 15

Airedale Terriers

VD (1)

1 Lee’s Hazenaide Harbour Light for Sijuboo, 9 years, shown in good form, presents a fairly square outline, length to head with well placed dark eyes, straight front, depth to well sprung ribs, high set tail & carriage, gentle turn to stifle, still moves out true & shown in crisp coat.

MPD (1)

1 Hill’s Crillee Catch Of The Day, 8 months & understandably still quite raw but growing on well with substance, liked his head which has length & is clean through, good for eye shape & dark, straight front with elbows held firm, ribcage developing, sound hindquarters, moved out with purpose.

PD (2)

1 Toulson’s Toulsyork King Lincoln, this 11 months lad presents a compact package, length to head with flat skull & minimal stop, excellent eye & expression, clean through cheeks & strength to foreface, straight front down to tight feet, tail carried high, definition to stifle, moves out true enough. BPD;

2 Jackson & Swash’s Jokyl Truly Noble, unfortunately this lad was not at all happy & felt he needs more socialising.

JD (2,1a)

1 Collins’ Colldale Son Of Adventurer, very smart junior, well proportioned headpiece with length & depth through muzzle, dark eye well placed, best of fronts down to excellent feet, arched neck into well laid shoulder, deep well sprung ribcage, just enough turn to stifle, crisp coat well presented, moves out with real purpose.

PGD (4,1)

1 Johnston’s Nedella Desert Flame at Bravados, smart & compact, clean in head, eye well placed but would prefer a touch smaller, good for front & feet, strong neck into well laid shoulders, ribs developing well, firm topline with tail set & carried high, gentle turn to stifle, moved out with style;

2 Burkin’s Nedella Flash Opal, very similar to 1 but not quite as compact, long clean head & again would prefer slightly smaller eye, level topline with tail carried high, good turn to stifle, very well turned out;

3 Morris’ Nedella Black Opal.

LD (3)

1 Callon & Callon-Winn’s Sonorra Christmas Cracker from Russtam, loved this dog for type, short coupled & right up on his toes, very well balanced head with flat skull & no cheekiness, eyes are spot on giving keen expression, his neck & shoulders are exceptional, ribcage has depth & comes well back making him very short coupled with tail carried freely in the right place, his hindquarters are very well modelled with good turn to stifle & defined second thigh, felt his presentation & handling was just right & he moved exactly as I expected after handling him, my pleasure to award him the CC & BOB & delighted to learn later that he also topped the group;

2 Gregg’s Bambusa High Noble, this lad is upstanding & presents a very good outline, he carries a decent head but would prefer eye a tad smaller, straight front & scored in firmly placed elbows, depth to his well sprung ribcage, also short coupled with tidy hindquarters & tail carriage, well presented & handled to advantage;

3 Lee’s Basidale Baroque King of Stargus.

OD (6,2)

Interesting class.

1 Jackson & Swash’s Ch Jokyl The Party Line, well grown & all male without a hint of exaggeration, head has length & is clean through, scored with good dark eye well placed, minimal stop, straight front, excellent arch to neck into well laid shoulder, well ribbed, definition to hindquarters, moved out freely in very typical style, well turned out;

2 Gregg’s Ch/Ir/Int Ch Bambusa Most Noble, well grown & also masculine without coarseness, head properties well laid out, arch to neck & well ribbed, firm topline & gently turned stifle, moves out well;

3 Gray’s Oaksteaire The Maestro at Grayaire.

MPB (1)

1 Fernandez & Purnell’s Jokyl Gold Star, 8 months & presenting a very square outline, liked her clean head with dark eye well placed & neat ear carriage, super neck & shoulder, just needs to tighten a little in front as yet, ribs developing well & carried back, short coupled, high set tail, good definition to hindquarters, crisp coat, steady mover.

PB (2)

1 Brown’s Jokyl Noble Princess for Oceanaire, well grown in a quality package, feminine without excess, length to head with strength through muzzle, scored with her straight front & good feet, arch to neck, depth to well sprung ribs, high tail carriage, defined hindquarters, super quality coat & presentation. BP;

2 Turner’s Jokyl Star Struck, still slightly raw but developing along the right lines, feminine head of length with depth through muzzle, clean cheeks, decent neck, topline still to settle, well turned out in hard coat.

JB (2)

1 Collins’ Colldale Adventuress Girl, of excellent type, feminine with substance, length to her clean head, decent eye & expression, scored in front assembly & topline, elbows held firm & good feet, arch to neck, deep well sprung ribcage, good tail carriage & excellent turn to stifle, well turned out & moved respectably;

2 Vickers’ Jodean Book Of Dreams, well turned out in excellent quality coat, still very much the teenager & just needing to get it all together & tighten up a touch, shown in hard condition.

PGB (3)

1 Lee’s Basidale Blythe Spirit of Stargus, well grown, super for coat texture & colour, length to head, clean all through with dark eyes well placed, straight front with firmly placed elbows, ribs developing, short coupled, high tail carriage, scores in rear definition, moved out well in all directions;

2 Morris’ Nedella Flame Opal, also well grown with excellent headpiece & dark eye, not quite the topline or quarters of 1, moved soundly;

3 Hilton’s Colldale High Flyer of Touessrok.

LB (7,2)

1 Toulson’s Toulsyork Ha Ha Hope, very neat package in super coat & condition, head has length & is so clean through, super eye for colour, size & set, very best of front assemblies right down to tight feet, very good neck & carriage into well laid shoulder, ribs sprung & short coupled, level topline with tail set on high, admired her hind angulation, very tidy mover, I was pleased to award her the CC;

2 Gregg’s Bambusa Silk Ribbons, length to this feminine bitch’s head with dark eyes well placed, straight front, ribcage developed & carried back, good tail carriage, moved out true once settled to the job in hand;

3 Collins’ Beacytan Best Seller of Colldale.

OB (5,1)

1 Jackson & Swash’s Ch Jokyl Simply Red, of excellent type with that stamp of quality, liked her head which is carried on an excellent neck, well laid shoulder into tidy front assembly, firm topline & loin, turn to stifle, free accurate mover. RCC;

2 Turner’s Ch Crillee Carry On Baby, very much admired this bitch with her compact outline & balance, clean head with dark well placed eye, firm elbows, deep well sprung ribcage, level topline, & high tail carriage, definition to hindquarters, expertly put down & handled;

3 Turner’s Crillee Cool Scarlet.
