AIREDALE SOUTHERN COUNTIES 15 Judge(s): KARI JARVINEN Airedale Terriers PD 1 Toulson’s Toulsyork King Lincoln, a very nice puppy with a very good head & pleasing expression, lovely neck & topline, good front & hindquarters, excellent tail carriage, in good coat. Moved well; 2 Jackson & Swash’s Jokyl Truly Noble, a very well made young male with a good coat. Excellent head & expression, clean neck of good length. Very good hindquarters but perhaps a little wide in front; 3 McNamara’s Jokyl Gold Finger. JD 1 Lee’s Stargus Black Sabre, a muscular young dog, which is very well constructed, a very good head, excellent neck & topline, very well angulated both front & hindquarters, hard dense coat. Moving nicely on the day. CC; 2 Bollins’ Collidale Son Of Adventurer, another young dog with a good head & expression, good ears, well carried. Could have a little more layback of shoulder & I would have preferred a little more angulation throughout but he did move well around the ring. PGD 1 Hampton & Hall’s Muliebrity Symphony, a muscularly made dog which was perhaps a little heavy in head. Good ear placement, a good topline on a strong back, good front & hindquarters, coat of good quality. Strong on the move; 2 Marwick’s Crillee Catcher In The Rye, a good sized dog, good skull. Ears perhaps set a little high, needs a bit more angulation throughout & cleaner lines, coat could be a little more wiry. LD 1 Collins’ Colldale The Hero, dog of correct size, skull perhaps a little rounded with ears a little heavy. Good neck & well made front, good coat. A little more rear angulation preferred but he did move well around the ring; 2 Lee’s Autograph Warrior for Stargus, also of good size, this dog looked particularly good standing, good head with correct ears, slightly low set tail. I would have preferred a little more layback of shoulders. Good topline but he did not hold this on the move. Movement not as free-flowing as my class winner. OD 1 Hacker & Jenkins’ Ch Sherif’s Red Beret, a very muscular looking dog, strong in head with very good ears, excellent neck & shoulders, well set tail, good proportions, in very good coat. Excellent movement coming & going. RCC; 2 Jackson & Swash’s Ch Jokyl The Party Line, an elegant dog with a very good head & expression, good proportions throughout. Tail could be a little higher set. Moving a little unsure front & rear. Excellent coat. PB 1 Turner’s Jokyl Star Struck, lovely young bitch with an excellent head, good ears & very good expression, good neck, excellent topline & well set tail. Enough angulation throughout, moved well behind but a little loose in front; 2 Brown’s Jokyl Noble Princess for Oceanaire, a well made puppy bitch with a good hear & earset, enough neck & correctly laid shoulders, tail a little low set & she could be a little more angulated in hindquarters. Her front was good as was her coat. JB 1 Lee’s Basidale Blythe Spirit of Stargus, an excellent looking bitch, looking so good when standing. Very good head with feminine expression, excellent neck & topline, well set tail & correctly carried tail. Good, strong hindquarters, in excellent coat. Much to like about this one. RCC; 2 Collins’ Collidale Adventuress Girl, another nice young bitch with a good head. I would have preferred a little more front & rear angulation, topline sloping when standing but moved well. PGB 1 Hilton’s Colldale High Flyer of Touessrok, a well constructed bitch of good size, a good feminine head & expression, good shaped ears, in proportion to her head. Enough angulation, well set tail, moving freely; 2 Haly’s Vivavick Tittletattle, a slightly more muscular bitch than my class winner with correct lines, skull perhaps a little too round, low set ears, well angulated behind in good coat. Moving with drive around the ring; 3 Collins’ Beacytan Best Seller of Collidale. LB 1 Toulson’s Toulsyork Ha Ha Hope, overall a very nice bitch with no exaggerations, very pleasing expression on a good head, very clean neck, level topline, well angulated & moving strongly; 2 Keay’s Jaymitch Jaunty Panachen, as the class winner, this is a good bitch with a good head of correct proportions. Could have been a little more angulated in front but moving well behind; 3 Terry’s Daielsie Jans Go Girl Go. OB 1 Jackson & Swash’s Jokyl Simply Red, a really excellent quality bitch with superb head, best neck shoulders & topline of the day. Correct rear angulation, moving extremely well around the ring. Difficult to fault. CC, BOB; 2 Turner’s Ch Crillee Carry On Baby, another bitch I liked very much, well made with good proportions, as with my class winner she had good rear angulation & moved well; 3 Turner’s Crillee Cool Scarlet.
