May I thank the committee & officers for inviting me to Judge Airedale Terrier at this yeas show. May I also thank the exhibitors for allowing me to assess their dogs. On the whole the breed is strong but in some exhibits I found a lack in coat on the jacket, Airedale Terriers should have a good undercoat and a good covering of top coat.
Puppy Dog (2 Entries) Abs 0
1st Toulson’s Toulsyork Sequel. The more mature of the two puppies. Nice balanced head & expression with correct dentition and a keen eye, correct ear carriage which although a noisy venue he used them well. Excellent front assembly, flowing neck into well laid shoulder, level topline , good tail set. In good coat & color. Moved well. Delighted to award him BPIB & RDCC.
2nd Pickering’ Stargus Alidandini at Jolliver (NAF). Another quality puppy that is slow on maturing. Good balanced head & expression, correct dentition, keen eye , well placed ears which he used well. Good front assembly, adequate length of neck into well laid shoulder. Good topline with tail well set. In good coat and color just needs to settle on the move.
Junior Dog ( 1 Entries) Abs 0
1st Gleave, Knowlelion Circus Master At Lemajac naf taf. Nice head & expression, correct dentition,nice eye and used ears well. Adequate length of neck into well lay of shoulder.Presented in good coat & color moved well.
Post Grad Dog (2 Entries) Abs 0
Ist Grigas Rus Sterling Gemstone. Very nice dog lots to like about him. Lovely head & expression, keen eye and correct dentition, used his ears when needed. Nice reach of neck leading into well placed shoulder. Just need a little more coat on his jacket but otherwise well presented. Good tail set & moved very well.
2nd Moore’s Jokyl True Grit at Arngask. Another very nice dog . Nice head & expression, correct dentition. Adequate length of neck, slightly longer cast than the 1st. In good coat & color and presented well. Moved ok.

1st Delaney’s Jets Aires Infinity (CW19,CJW19, IR Jun Ch). As soon as this dog entered the ring I could not wait to get my hands on him and I was certainly not disappointed. Super head with lovely dark keen eye, correct dentition, used his ears all the time. Perfect front assembly. Lovely flowing neck leading into well placed shoulder. Nice short back, lovely depth of rib. Super top line with tail bang on top with plenty behind, well angulated. Put down in perfect condition. Fantastic mover with drive and purpose in perfect harmony with his handler didn’t put a foot wrong. I was delighted to award him the DCC & BOB. Pleased to see later that he was short listed in the Group.
Veteran Dog (2 Entries) Abs 1
1st Ablard &Kantijevskaja’s Int Ch Aus Int Ch & Int Ch Katherine’s Land VIP L. Another very nice dog to go over, 8 years old and still in tip top condition. Lovely balanced head , correct dentition, keen dark eye, and used his ears well. Good length of neck leading into well placed shoulder. Level top line with good tail set. Presented in good coat & color. Moved well. BV.

1st Raper & Favell –Raper’s Quick Fly Morning Star Venus with Shadlian. A very nice bitch puppy which is going to take time to mature but lots to like about her. Lovely head and expression, correct dentition, used ears well. Good length of neck flowing into well lay of shoulder, lovely top line with a good tail set. In good coat & color, Moved well , one to watch for in the future.
2nd Toulson’s Toulsyork Summer Skye, Another promising puppy. Lovely head with keen eye, correct dentition, well placed ears. Adequate length of neck leading into well placed shoulder. Level top-line with good tail set . In good coat & color, just need to settle on the move but this will come.
Junior Bitch (2 entries) Abs 0
1st Sheild’s Shielmarh Fortuna Forseer. Pleasing head with keen eye, correct dentition, used her ears well. Adequate length of neck leading in to well placed shoulder. Level top-line , tail set ok. In good coat & color. Moved well.
2nd Ashton’s, Knowlelion Clover Leaf with Kitesprite (imp Ire) Nice head , correct dentition. Adequate length of neck leading in to well placed shoulder, slightly longer cast than 1st. Tail set ok , in good coat & color & moved ok.
Limit Bitch (5 entries) Abs 2

Lovely flowing neck into correct lay of shoulder, good depth of rib. Short level back, well set tail, well angulated, in good coat & color. Moved very well. Delighted to award her the BCC & BOS.
2nd Graham’s Thistleair Touch Of Frost JW. Nice head & ear carriage, correct dentition. Adequate length of neck, ok in Shoulder. Good depth of rib, slightly longer in body than 1st, Good top-line tail set ok, in good coat & color ,moved well.
Open Bitch (2 Entries) Abs 0
1st Toulson, s Toulsyork Llinsair Opal. Quality Bitch lots to like about her. Lovely head & expression, keen eye, correct dentition. Lovely flowing neck into well laid shoulder. Short level back with good set tail, well angulated, moved well when settled. Delighted to award her the RBCC
2nd Bain’s Unique in All Ways of Malton (Imp NLD). Nice all round Bitch. Ok in head but would benefit with tighter trimming. Moderate length of neck ,ok in shoulder. Short back and tail set ok in good coat & color just a bit finer trimming would finish the picture. Moved ok.
