AIREDALE JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 18

PD (3, 2)

1 Vickers' Eskwyre Sunny Boy. Quality dog, good head and expression, nice front into well laid shoulder, reachy neck, well ribbed body, correct coat, good rear end, just loses tail set on the move. Should have a very bright future. Best Puppy.

JD (2)

1 Toulson's Toulsyork Noted Nat. Lean head, reachy neck into good shoulder and withers with straight front and level topline. Good coat and colour. Rear movement erratic.

2 Lee's Stargus Allegro. Quality all over, lean head good eye and ear giving terrier expression, Straight front, long shoulder, well ribbed body, short level top with high set on and good read angulation. On the mend from a traumatic experience resulting in hesitancy on the move which experience will overcome and this dog should be a standard bearer for the breed.

PGD (3)

1 Millar's Lakeaire Carnival In Rio. Nice head, good front and balanced between neck and body with high tail set, Sound on the move, rear quarters a little flat.

2 Brennan's Buddenwood Black Jack. Good front and shoulder, deep well ribbed body, reachy neck and fair rear quarters.

3 Oats Starbucks Mr Bojangles.

LD (6, 2)

1 Johnston's Nedella Desert Flame At Bravados. Best moving dog on the day and good show manner, straight front with good neck and excellent head carriage, Straight level topline with good tail set and best of rear angulations, good bend of stifle and low set hocks, Small erratic ears and softish coat are negatives. Performance gained him Res CC.

2 Atkinson's Jokyl Party Popper. Excellent foreface, eye and ear giving true Airedale expression. Good neck and shoulder, straight front well proportioned throughout with high tail and good quarters. Just somewhat lethargic and uninterested.

3 Lee's Stargus Santa Rocks.

OD (6, 5)

1 Jackson & Swash's Jokyl Truly Noble. Good quality all over, typical head with long strong foreface, small eye and well set ears, straight front with well laid shoulder and flowing withers into short well ribbed level back with high set on, well angulated and powerful at rear, good coat and colour. CC and BOB.

MPB (1)

1 Jones' Mikeland Believe In Me. Nice front, well ribbed body, eye, ear and mouth all developing nicely.

PB (4, 1)

1 McCallum's Glentops Movie Star. Good head, short cobby body well angled front and rear with good coat and colour.

2 Toulson's Toulsyork Only Olga. Reachy neck, good front and rear angles presenting a pleasant outline, but movement disappointed.

3 Morris' Nedella Centerfold.

JB (3, 1)

1 Hampton & Hall's Muliebrity Enchanted Bay. Good head with nice set ears and eye, fair front and neck into straight back with tail set, Could do with more spring of rib.

2 Betts' Saredon Head Turner. Good forehand and rear quarters with nice bend of stifle and low set hocks, good coat and colour.

PGB (9, 1)

1 Toulson's Toulstork Nefarious. Good head, neck, shoulder and front with well ribbed short body, good coat and colour, Movement needs to improve.

2 Jackson & Swash's Jokyl Red Letter Day. Well bodied bitch with good head neck and shoulder, level top and high set on, hard grizzle coat but just too much and quite lethargic.

3 Hacker & Jenkins' Crillee What A Carry On At Sherrifs.

LB (3, 1)

1 Moules' Doraemi One Vision. Short, lean bitch with good front. Nice head, level top and good quarters. Good coat and colour. Penalised for a long narrow neck, not at all typical of the breed.

2 Purchon's Jokyl True Romance At Ellwoodkings. Performed well, pleasing head, well ribbed level body with good tail carriage. A bit racey.

OB (6, 1)

1 Hampton & Hall's Muliebrity Harmony. Good head, fair length of neck and short back with good tail set and deep body, heavy round the withers and lack of stifle undesirable.

2 Edington-Hall's Wendaire Kissed By An Angel. Strong foreface and reachy neck, good shoulder and well ribbed body, moved well. Just a little too much all over.

3 Brown's Jokyl Noble Princess For Oceanaire. To be worthy of the title of Champion, a dog should be Fit For Purpose, which the Kennel Club promote, and should meet all requirements, correct conformation, soundness, breed points performance and presentation. Unfortunately from the entry today I could not find any bitches that were of such outstanding merit as to be worthy of the title of Champion and in keeping with Kennel Club guidelines as printed in the schedule variances towards exaggerations were penalised and the Bitch CC was withheld.
