AIREDALE NATIONAL TERRIER 10 Judge/s:Sylvia Hicks (Jonvias) AIREDALE JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 10 Airedale Terriers MPD (3) 1 Cole’s Jaymitch Walk Awile Brecons by Magwyr, nice compact 7 months baby, very immature but quite happy in the ring. Good eye, ear carriage & tailset; 2 Brown’s Oceanaire Beachcomber, good upstanding 8 months puppy, moved & showed well for her age. Needs to tighten up a little but this should come; 3 Downes & Leahy’s Saredon Time Travel. PD (3,1a) 1 Hampton & Hall’s Muliebrity Grandioso, 11 months mature puppy, quality upcoming dog with great potential, an eyecatcher with style & elegance, caught my eye straight away & a pleasure go do over, good head, correct mouth, eye & ear placement, nice length of neck & well laid back shoulders, level topline on the move, good rearend & tailset, handled & presented very well. It was very close to give him the CC but I am sure his day will come. BP, RCC & BPIS; 2 Morris’ Nedella A Kind Of Magic, good looking 11 months puppy, good head, bite, eye & ear carriage, nice length of neck. Topline could be better, hopefully this will improve. PGD (4,1) 1 Moules’ Doraemi Jazzamataz, good cobby dog, nice head, eye & ear carriage, short back & tail on top; 2 Hacker & Jenkins’ Sherifs Midnight Rambler, nice dog, well presented & handled, good head, ears & coat, level topline, good tailset; 3 Ball & Bramham’s Jolliver Ronaldo in Saundaire. LD (4,1) 1 Edward’s Litchdale Maestro, upstanding dog, good eyes, bite & ear carriage, nice harsh jacket, good front, well laid back shoulders, level topline with tail on top, handled well. CC; 2 Turner’s Crillee Cool As Jack, nice head, eyes & ear carriage, correct front, good topline & tailset. Poor bend of stifle; 3 McCallum’s Glentop Hugh Bett. OD (5,3) 1 Iwahashi’s Rockridge JP Black Shadow, large upstanding dog & therefore the head goes with the body. Nice eyes, bite & ear carriage, long neck into well laid back shoulders, level topline, nice rearquarters, tail on top, handled well as I would expect; 2 Jackson & Swash’s Jokyl Flash Gordon, overall appearance not quite what I was expecting. Nice head, expression & ear carriage. Would have liked more neck & more terrier enthusiasm. MPB (1) 1 Jaymitch Misty Over Malvern, lovely pretty 7 months baby, adorable & lovely temperament, happy for her first day out. PB (5,2) 1 Turner’s Crillee Catch A Star, good expression, eye & ear carriage, nice feminine little girl, straight front, level topline. Angulation could be better. Moved reasonably well for age; 2 Hampton & Hall’s Muliebrity True Spirit, litter sister to my BP. Good head, bite, eyes & ear carriage, level topline on the move, presented well; 3 Jackson & Swash’s Jokyl Time To Party. JB (2) 1 Hacker & Jenkins’ Sherrifs Winter Jasmine, two litter sisters here but I preferred this one. Nice head & ear carriage, good length of neck & shoulders, level topline, presented & handled well; 2 Hacker & Jenkins’ Sherrifs Winter Dawn, more upstanding girl than her sister, longer in body. Good head & ear carriage, nice expression, level topline & presented well. PGB (10,2) 1 Edwards’ Smockalley Top Totty, cobby, well bodied, good head & eye, correct mouth & ear carriage, level topline, good tailset, one of the best rearends of the day, handled well; 2 Acton’s Jantaradon Starchaser, nice bitch, good head, eyes & ears. Longer cast than 1 but still in reasonable proportion. Presented & handled well; 3 Miller’s Lakeaire Lily The Pink. LB (8,2) 1 Felstead’s Minnisoda Calender Girl, my favourite of the day. Very pretty, compact, feminine bitch, one who I admired from a puppy although not shown to her potential. Beautiful head, lovely eye & correct ear carriage which she shows to her advantage, good length of neck, well laid back shoulders, level topline on the move, grizzle harsh jacket, tail on top, good rearend & bend of stifle, confident on the move, presented & handled well. CC & BOB; 2 Toulson’s What Comes Around via Toulsyork, nice bitch but not as feminine as 1. Good head, eye & ear carriage. Topline could be better. Well sprung ribs, presented well; 3 Iwahashi’s Stargus Black Lace. OB (6,3) 1 Jackson & Swash’s Ch Jokyl Starflash, pretty compact bitch, good head, expression & ear carriage, well laid back shoulders, level topline with tail on top. Well deserves her Ch status but my CC goes elsewhere to another lovely bitch. RCC; 2 Johnstone’s Jecadie Boops Hot And Spicy, nice compact bitch, good head eye & ears, shoulders well placed, level topline, good tailset, handled & presented well; 3 Hughes’ Saredon Merry Legs.
