AIREDALE JUDGE LEEDS 21

PD (2)
1 Callon’s Russtam Jax The Gentleman. My type of Airedale, as he is well boned, has substance, desired proportions and is nicely balanced. Lovely long clean head with correctly placed ears and eyes culminating in a typical expression. Super front assembly with long sloping shoulders and a level topline with a good tail set. His ribs extend back to a short loin and his quarters are nicely angulated and well developed in muscletone for his age. His movement is true both fore and aft with correct foot fall when viewed from side profile, and he was presented in super condition. I considered him for the CC, although he is still immature and needs to firm up as you would expect at this age, and then I’m sure he will trouble the best, RDCC, BPIB and delighted to watch him win Terrier Puppy Group 2.

2 Hampton & Hall’s Muliebrity Wilderness. Decent type who was not as mature as first. Typical head and expression, enough neck into well laid back shoulders, level top line and nicely angulated quarters. He moved true in front and needs to tighten behind, although he is only 9 months old and is a raw puppy. He was handled and presented to a high standard.

1 Toulson & Toulson’s Toulsyork Rolo Coaster. Lovely type who I considered for top awards. He has a long typical head with a good expression, attributed by his correctly placed eyes and ears. Enough neck into a correctly angulated front assembly. Level topline with a good tail set and his ribs extend back to a short loin. His quarters are correctly angulated and well developed in muscle tone and he was presented in super condition. He moved true behind, but a little loose in front.

LD (2, 1)

1 Gray’s Eskwyre Sunny Bay. A smaller and cobby type who has a decent length of skull, but I would prefer a tad more refinement. His shoulders are well laid back and his forelegs are well boned and straight. His top line is level and he has a good tail set. Correct foot fall when viewed from side profile and presented in lovely condition.

OD (4)

1 Averis & Barker’s Saredon JP Masterpiece. A lovely balanced dog who has bone, substance and is nicely constructed. His long head is flat and of desired proportions with correctly placed eyes and ears attributing to a typical expression. His neck is muscular and moderate in length into long, laid back shoulders and his forelegs are straight and well boned. Level top line and his ribs are carried back to a short loin. His quarter angles mirror his front assembly which is evidenced when he moves as his front and hind action are co-ordinated with correct foot fall. He moved true both fore and aft, although he occasionally moved a tad wide in front, but this did not detract from his overall qualities. CC & BOB and delighted to watch him win Terrier Group 1.

2 Toulson & Toulson’s Toulsyork Quantum Quinn. A lovely dog who is different in type to 1st. His head is of a good length and he portrays a good expression, his neck is of moderate length and his front construction is of desired angles. His top line is level and he has a short compact loin. His quarters are nicely angulated and he moved true both ways, although he lacked enthusiasm today and did not show as I have seen him at previous shows.

3 Turner & Turner’s Ch Ch Crillee Maximus The Cool.

VD (1)

1 Webber’s Sherifs Red Hot ShCM. Difficult to believe this boy was 9 years old and his owner had him in super condition. He has a decent head with a typical expression, nicely angulated front and quarters and a level topline. He was presented in lovely order and moved soundly both ways.

SBD/B (1)

1 Cook’s Settlebeck Heavenly Audra. 17 month old who is too light in bone and substance. She has dark eyes and a correct scissor bite, enough neck into shoulders which are set too forward. Well muscled quarters and appeared to be enjoying her time in the ring.

PB (3)

1 Ablard’s Jaydavine Story Of Love. A very pretty puppy who is a lovely balanced shape. Her head is long and flat with correctly placed eyes and ears resulting in a typical expression. Her neck flows into a superbly constructed front assembly with long sloping shoulders and the desired ratio of upper arm. Her fore legs are straight and well boned for her age and her topline is level with a good tail set. Her quarter angles mirror her front assembly and are nicely developed for one so young. Her movement is true both fore and aft with correct foot fall when viewed from side profile. She was presented and handled to a high standard, RBCC.

2 Toulson & Toulson’s Toulsyork Llinsaire Opal. Another nice puppy who has a typical head and expression and a level top line with a good tail set. She has straight, well boned fore legs, although her shoulder placement is not as good as first. Her ribs extend back to a short loin and her quarters are nicely angulated and well developed. She moves true both fore and aft, but tended to side wind.

3 Turner & Turner’s Crillee Carry On Day Dreamer.

JB (1) 1 Cook’s Settlebeck Heavenly Audra.
PGB (4, 2)

1 Turner & Turner’s Crillee Carry On My Baby. Very nice type who has a typical head and expression, nicely placed ears and eyes and enough neck into a correctly angulated front assembly. Her top line is level with a good tail set and her quarter angles compliment her front construction. She moved true both ways with good foot fall when viewed from side profile.

2 Webber’s Kaolin Little Miss Sparkle. Different type to first who is in between coats. Decent length of head, good bite, well placed shoulders. Her topline is soft and dips behind her withers and her quarters are nicely angulated although she lacks second thigh muscle, handled to a good standard.

LB (2)

1 Steinke’s Toulsyork Perfectionist At Temtiz. Decent length of head with correctly placed eyes, although her expression is affected by her low set ears, which she occasionally carried erratically. Her shoulders are set at a good angle and she has a level topline with a good tail set. She was presented in good order and moved true both ways.

2 Shields’ Toulsyork Phenomenal At Shielmarh. Her head is of a decent length, but better trimming would enhance this. Enough neck into shoulders which are set a little forward, level topline and nicely angulated quarters. She was shown in her underwear and will look better when her jacket grows. She moved well behind with good drive but a little restricted in front which resulted with her side winding.

OB (2)

1 Hampton & Hall’s Muliebrity Sunkissed. I have previously judged this bitch and awarded her the RCC. She has a lovely clean flat skull with correctly placed eyes and ears and portrays a characteristic expression. Her front assembly is correctly angulated and her fore legs are straight and well boned. Her ribs are carried back to a short loin and he top line is level. Her quarter angles mirror her front assembly which constitute to her overall correct balance. She was presented in first class order and moved soundly both fore and aft with correct foot fall when viewed from side profile, BCC and informed this qualifies her for the title of champion (subject to KC approval) Congratulations.

2 Edington-Hall’s Wendaire Kissed By An Angel JW ShCM. Decent length of head, muscular neck into well laid back shoulders, short backed and well developed quarters. She moved soundly both fore and aft, although she is too heavy all through for me.
