AIREDALE JUDGE LKA 13

Airedale Terriers

Firstly let me please apologise for not submitting this sooner. I was diagnosed with shingles in my head & left eye 3 days before this appointment. I was in considerable pain for several months afterwards & unable to write or use my computer. I did not want to let the exhibitors down or indeed LKA as you had given me such a lovely entry, so I hope you all understand & will accept my apologies.

My principle winners were BOB & CC, Averis & Barker’s Ch Katerinas Land Spicy Cherry at Saredon, well known quality bitch which I had judged before & given G2 in the Terrier group at SKC. She has a lovely clean head with correct size ears which gives her a good expression, clean neck with no throatiness, good shoulders firm topline. Well muscled hindquarters & she moves around the ring so well; RCC, Gregg’s Ir Ch Bambusa Dream Model, she was so unlucky to meet the winner. She has all the attributes to be a very worthy Ch in this country; CC, Lee’s Ch Starguss Raiden, maybe not the largest dog here today but fits the standard so well. Good head, eye & ears, strong neck which he used so well. Good neck & shoulders, firm topline, plenty of dog behind the tail, sound mover, shown in first class condition. I found out later that this made him top Airedale dog 2013; RCC, Jackson & Swash’s Sigfridstad, typical, well presented as always from this kennel, did not put all in when in the class, but when he came into the challenge for RCC sparred up to another dog & transformed into a stallion. Such a shame he had not done that in his class; BP, Jackson & Swash’s Jokyl Simply Red, very promising puppy who shows very well, good head & body shape, moved well.
