Airedale Terriers

An excellent entry of quality Airedales.

PD (5,1a)

1 Moules’ Doraemi Jazzamataz, good type 11 months youngster, shape very pleasing, nice flat skull, alert expression, long neck, good in forequarters & level topline held, hindquarters well angulated & best movement in this class. BP;

2 Toulson’s Toulsyork Combat Cooper, 7 months & confident, very good head. Ears could be tighter, not as clean in shoulder as 1. Excellent body, strong hindquarters, very good in coat & colour;

3 Collins & Curran’s Collcurr The Emperor.

JD (3,1)

1 Pickering’s Jolliver Funky Monkey, excellent appearance, well balanced, liked his sharp expression & dark eye, proud head carriage on good neck, angulations very good, tailset good, held level topline on the move, excellent coat & colour;

2 Ward’s Howlett Tennessee Waltz, finer type, head OK, nice dark eye. Forelegs could be straighter. Body good. Tailset could be higher & needs to settle on the move.

1 Hacker & Jenkins’ Sherifs Midnight Rambler, well balanced, attractive young dog, should do well. Excellent temperament, very good expression on long head with correct dark eye, carried his head proudly & good angulations, held topline well, good tailset, coat & colour, moved very well;

2 Eastall & Davey’s Daedal Hi Mister Webster, good overall, coat, colour & temperament, nice dark eye, long neck, good head carriage, good straight front, good legs & feet, strong body, good tailset with something behind the tail, well angulated hindquarters. Not as positive as 1 on the move;

3 Bramham’s Jolliver Ronaldo.

1 Collins & Curran’s Collcurr Courageous, up on his toes, good length of head, strong foreface, good front, well angulated, well ribbed up, level topline, good hindquarters, moved well;

2 McCallum’s Glentops Hugh Bett, short bodied & well balanced, attractive type, liked his flat skull, good neck & forehand, excellent in hindquarters, coat & colour. Bit looser in his movement than 1;

3 Jackson & Swash’s Jokyl Flash Gordon.

1 Jackson & Swash’s Ch Jokyl Captain Scarlet, excellent dog of quality type, upstanding & well balanced, good length of skull, long strong foreface, sharp expression, nice arched neck, well made in front, short strong body, firm topline, strong well angulated hindquarters, excellent straight legs, coat, colour, presentation & handling second to none. CC & BOB;

2 Iwahashi’s Rockridge JP Black Shadow, different type, liked his flat skull & parallel planes, neat well carried ears & dark eye, excellent bite, long neck flowing into firm level topline & nice tailset, strong hindquarters, well let down hocks, small feet, lovely colour, very well handled. RCC;

3 Brown’s Dendaric Viking.

1 Johnstone’s Jokyl New Tricks for Jecadie, well balanced puppy, correct for size, good head, nice eyes & ears, good bite, tight lips, nice neck & shoulders, strong body, well angulated hindquarters, coat in good nick, nice colour & moved well;

2 Risby’s McKerros Too Delightful, nice puppy, pretty head & good bite. Ears not as well carried as 1. Good front & hind angulation, good topline, excellent coat & colour, excellent small tight feet, happy on the move;

3 McCallum’s Ladsacres Suleka.

JB (3,1)

1 Lee’s Stargus Black Lace, upstanding & eyecatching, full of life, excellent head & expression, well arched neck, lovely run in to well made shoulders, good body, nice hind end, very proud in movement, super coat & colour. CC;

2 Eastall & Davey’s Daedal Hi Point, good overall. Skull not as flat as 1. Nice neck & forequarters, well ribbed up, hindquarters strong, movement good & in good coat.

1 Hacker & Jenkins’ Sherifs Winter Dawn, alone but worthy of 1st, attractive 7 months puppy, nice flat skull, long neck with good run in, excellent body & topline, well made & moved well, great colour.

1 Oates’ Stabuks Ebony, feminine, excellent expression, well placed & well held ears, straight front, short firm body, well ribbed, good tailset, good coat & moved well;

2 Edington Hall’s Jetstream Russian Jewell via Wendaire, well balanced, flat skull, nice front, well made body, good coat & colour;

3 Hacker & Jenkins’ Sherifs Ruby Tuesday.

LB (9,3)

1 Johnstone’s Jecadie Boops Hot And Spicy, pretty & feminine, nice length of head, used her ears, well balanced neck & forequarters, well bodied, liked her ribbing & firm hindquarters, hocks well let down, moved well;

2 Stuart’s Garland Tango Girl, very good neck & front, strong level back, well angulated hindquarters, moved well, good coat & colour. Lower earset pegged her back;

3 J Russian Jewel via W.

OB (6,2)

1 Morris’ Ch Nedella The Diamond, commanding bitch when stood but unsettled & didn’t move to advantage. Long head, strong expression, long neck flowing into well laid shoulders & strong body, well angulated rear. RCC;

2 Jackson & Swash’s Ch Jokyl Star Flash, traditional feminine type, pretty head & lovely expression, very nice neck & shoulder, well shaped body, good quarters;

3 Lee’s Stargus Aurora.
