I am pleased i deferred my critique for a few days as i would like to pay a little tribute to the late Judith Averis. A lady i had the utmost respect for and a Lady i have known almost my entire time in Airedales, dating back to mid 70's. A true Terrier Breeder / Exhibitor with a wealth of knowledge which she was prepared to impart. Also someone who i can say i was privileged to call my friend. Awarding the Dog CC and Best of Breed to Saredon The Last Samurai which Subject to KC Confirmation maybe Judith's last known Airedale Terrier Champion.
PUPPY DOG 1
1st. Jackson & Swash's Jokyl The Party Line. Stunning puppy with great potential. A balanced young man with a long lean head, good earset, Dark eye with correct dentition. Well laid shoulders and a short level back, His tail was bang on top with good rear angulation and moved okay. BP.
JUNIOR DOG 2
1st. Toulson's Toulsyork Idiosyncrasy Smart young dog with good head and eye, correct bite, well balanced body, nice short back with good rear angles, well muscled and moved well.
2nd. Turner's Crillee Catch By Surprise. A little heavier all through than my class winner, short backed male, Who kept his top line on the move.
POST GRADUATE DOG 1
1st. Edwards Smockalley The Joker. I would prefer a finer skull, Another male what is heavier all through, short balanced body, good tail set and moved well.
LIMIT DOG 3
1st. Vickers Catch Me If You Can At Jodean, Nice headed dog what is maturing nicely, Well balanced, correct bite, dark eye and good earset, A fair neck, well laid shoulders, level top line which he held on the move. Ample rear angulation which he used well on the move, Pleased to award him the RDCC
2nd Hughe's & Pearce's Knowleion A Sunny Smile At Alcinra. Fair in head with good eye and bite, Reasonable length of neck with well laid shoulders, longer in back than my class winner, well presented and a little close moving out today.
3rd Gray's Oaksteaire The Maestro At Greyaire
OPEN DOG 1
1st Averis & Barker's Saredon The Last Samurai. A stallion of a male, Great head and ears, correct bite, Well laid shoulders with good depth. correct length of back, level top line which he held well on the move. Good rear and well muscled angulation, A pleasure watching him in profile with reach and drive power around the ring. I awarded him his first RDCC in 2011 and pleased to award him the DCC on the day which i believe gave him his crown .. DCC & BOB.
JUNIOR BITCH 3
1st Toulson's Toulsyork Ha Ha Hope. A very smart young lady who has all the right qualities, Beautiful feminie head with dark eye and correct bite. Excelled in Neck and Shoulders, Straight in front and good depth. Level top line with tail on top, lovely rear angulation, very well presented and moved well. A close decison but had to bow to the Open class winner RBCC.
2nd. Miller's Lakeaire Mandy Mauve. Different in type to my class winner, Would prefer a little more length of neck and a better lay of shoulder. Decent top line, shown in fair trim just needs time.
3rd Edward's Smockalley Razamataz
YEARLING BITCH 1
1st. Purchon's Nedella All Spice At Ellwoodkings Fair in head, good eye, well laid shoulders, a little rangy moved close behind just needs time to mature and develop.
POST GRADUATE BITCH 3
1st. Moules Doraemi Kiki Dee. Nice bitch with good head, dark eye and correct bite. Good length of neck and well placed shoulders. Short back with level topline and tail on top. good well muscled rear and moved well.
2nd. Oates Stabuks Immy. Finer all through than my class winner. Good in head, eye, correct bite, Well placed shoulders with good neck. Nice top line, good angulations and well presented. was a little tentative on the moved at first but settled to the job in hand.
3rd Brennan's Nedella Olympic Medalist From Buddon Wood.
LIMIT BITCH 4
1st Turners Crillee Cool Scarlet. Typy girl who showed all the time. Good head, nice eye and ear, good bite and nice length of neck. well placed shoulders with firm level back with strong rear. Handled and moved well.
2nd. Edington - Hall Wendaire Jokers Angels Kiss. Another nice bitch, Would prefer her to be a little finer all through. Was in great coat and condition, Moved well on well muscled rear.
3rd. Callon & Callon-Wynn Russtam Star Princess

1st. Turners Crillee Carry On Baby. Very smart bitch with good head and ears, good dark eye and correct bite. good length of neck and well placed shoulders with straight front. Level top line with tail on top. Moved very well on well let down hocks. was pleased to award her the BCC and her crowning C C subject to KC Confirmation.
2nd. Fernandez & Purnell's Muliebrity Rilletta JW ShCM. Different type to my class winner, lovely head, dark eye, good ears and correct bite. Good neck and shoulders with good depth. Nice level top line and good tail set. good angles, in good coat and very well presented, Moved well.
3rd. Jackson & Swash's Jokyl Simply Red.
