I was happy with the quality of my major winners. However, in general the movement of the breed leaves a lot to be desired. Also, given the type of work that the breed was bred for I feel that strength of jaw also needs to be addressed.

1 Morris’ Nedella A Kind Of Magic, good length of head with strong foreface, nice ears & expression, moderate length of neck, shoulders OK, short coupled good tailset, nice bend of stifle, good feet, presented & handled well. Needs to tighten up on front movement.

1 Ball’s Jolliver Ronaldo in Saundaire, nice head, good eye & ears, moderate length of neck, nice shoulders. A little long in the back & loin. Tailset OK, moderate bend of stifle, good feet. A little more impulsion needed on the move;

2 Simpson & Storey’s Jonvias Montgomery, decent head & expression, good eye, shoulders OK, good topline & tailset, good feet. Preferred the movement of 1.

LD (6)

1 Callon’s Sonora Jack Son at Russtam, no fuss & no frills on this one, a good sound dog, nice head, well placed ears, good eye. Would have preferred a little more length of neck. Well placed shoulders, short coupled, good tailset with plenty behind, nice bend of stifle, short hocks, good feet, lovely coat texture, moved well. RCC;

2 Turner’s Crillie Cool As Jack, good length of head with punishing expression, moderate length of neck & good shoulders, level topline & a strong loin. Would like a bit more behind the tail. Moderate bend of stifle, good coat, moved well; 3 Moules’ Doraemi Jazzamataz.

OD (4,1)

1 Ventress’ Junaken Vaidrian, an all male dog who was a joy to go over, super length of head with the correct strength of jaw, well set ears giving true expression, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, good depth of chest, short coupled, tail bang on top with plenty behind, well bent stifle & good hocks, good jacket, moved well, very well handled. CC, his third, & BOB;

Averis’ Am Ch Longvue Jackpot of Saredon, good dog, I preferred the strength of head of 1. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders, short coupled, good topline, held well on the move, tail bang on top with plenty behind, well bent stifle, short hocks, moved well;

3 Gregg’s Ir Ch Bambusa Nobility.

1 Erdington & Hall’s Wendaire Jokers Angels Kiss, good length of head & expression, moderate length of neck, good shoulders, balanced body for her age. tailset good, moved OK;

2 Clarke’s Mullebrity Crowning Glory, nice head with good ears & expression, good length of neck & well laid back shoulders. Not as short coupled as 1. Good bend of stifle, when she settled she moved well, very well handled.

PB (1)

1 Byrne’s Jodean Rapunzel, well balanced young lady, nice head, dark eye & good ears. Would like just a little more length of foreface, Moderate length of neck into well laid shoulders, good topline with a strong loin, tail on top with plenty behind, nice bend of stifle, moved well, good presentation. BP.

JB (4,2)

1 Ablard’s Russtam Star Attraction, another sound dog from this kennel, good length of head, dark eye & good earset, good length of neck into very well laid shoulders, nice topline. Fine trimming needed to show her lovely hindquarters. Good bend of stifle with short hocks, moved well. RCC;

2 Hampton & Hall’s Mullebrity True Spirit, good length of head. Would prefer less wrinkles on the top of the skull. Moderate length of neck, a shade heavy in shoulder, level topline, good tailset, well bent stifle. Needs to settle on the move.

PGB (4,2)

1 Edwards’ Smockalley Top Totty, good sound well balanced girl, decent length of head, good eye & ear set, moderate length of neck into well laid shoulders, level & steady topline, good tailset, well bent stifle, moved sound;

2 Ball’s Saundaire String of Pearls, nice head, just needs to pick her ears up. Moderate neck & shoulders, longer cast. Needs to tighten up on movement.

LB (7,3)

1 Toulson’s Toulsyork Chapter Three, good head & expression, fair length of neck, shoulder placement good, level & steady topline, tailset OK, well bent stifle, moved OK;

2 Oates’ Stabuks Primrose, good length of head, well placed ears, moderate length of neck, level topline, good tailset & bend of stifle. Needs to tighten up on front movement. Well presented;

3 Miller’s Lakeaire Lily The Pink.

OB (3,1)

1 Toulson’s What Comes Around via Toulsyork, sound as a bell, well balanced with no exaggeration, good head, eye & ear placement, nice length of neck into very well laid shoulders, correct amount of coupling for a bitch, steady topline & good tailset, well bent stifle, strong hocks, put together with sound movement. CC;

2 Gregg’s Ir Ch Bambusa Roll Model, sound bitch who just lost out in this class on head & ears. Moderate length of neck into good shoulders, level steady topline, strong loin, good tailset & bend of stifle, moved sound.
