AIREDALE DARLINGTON 23 Judge: Mr N Connell AIREDALE JUDGE DARLINGTON 23 Best Of Breed/DCC: Callon & Callon Winn, Ch Russtam Jax the Gentleman – Upstanding male who commands your attention for his type, balance. His head is long and clean while maintaining his masculinity and his expression is typical as his eyes and ears are of the correct size and shape. He has enough neck into a good fore hand, level topline and a good tail set. His quarter angles mirror his front assembly and are well developed in muscle tone. He has super bone and substance, and he was presented to perfection. He moved true fore and aft with correct footfall when viewed from side profile. I awarded this boy the RCC two years ago from the puppy and I am pleased to see he has fulfilled his early promise. Res Dog CC : Toulson, Toulsyork Taylor Made – A young male who is extremely well put together with the desired angles both front and back, he holds a firm topline and his ribs extend back to a short loin. His head is flat and good for length, and he portrays a typical expression. He was presented in 1st order and moved soundly both ways. I am sure with maturity he will trouble the best. Bitch CC : Ablard, Ch Jaydavine Story Of Love – I also awarded this lady the RCC from the puppy 2 years ago and she has matured beautifully. Her head is long and flat with correctly placed eyes and ears resulting in a typical expression. She has a correctly angulated front and rear and her topline is level with a good tail set. She was presented immaculately and moved soundly both ways. Res Bitch CC : Hampton & Hall & Hall, Muliebrity Summer Sun – This lady portrays a lovely silhouette and is a lovely type. Long and clean head with a desired expression, shoulders set at the desired angle, short and level back with a good tail set and nicely angulated quarters. She was presented in super condition and lovely condition and moves soundly fore and aft. Best Puppy: Singh, Russtam Dolly Mixture at Borderbridge – This puppy has so much potential and she has a lovely outgoing temperament.. Her head is beautiful, and she has correctly placed eyes and ears attributing to a typical expression. She has a nicely angulated front and rear, level topline with a good tail set and is well developed in muscle tone for her age. She moved true both ways and was presented in good order, although she would benefit from finer trimming. Best Veteran: Moore & Moore, Jokyl True Grit at Arngask – Decent head of a good length, shoulders set well back, level topline and angulated quarters. She was presented in good order and moved soundly. 1 Moore & Moore, Jokyl True Grit at Arngask. 1 Knights & Stokes & Steinke, Temtiz Buzz Lightyear at Lelaps – This boy was very unsure of his surroundings and reluctant to be assessed. He has a dark eye and a good mouth. His topline is level and his quarters are nicely angulated. 1 Toulson, Toulsyork Taylor Made. 1 Fearnhead, Settlebeck Royal Flush – Decent head and expression, straight front but a tad upright in shoulder. Level topline and good quarters. Moved true behind. 1 Callon & Callon Winn, Ch Russtam Jax the Gentleman. 2 Toulson, Ch Toulsyork Sequel – Decent head of a good length with a typical expression. Enough neck into shoulders set well back, straight, and well boned fore legs. Level topline and well-developed quarters. Presented in excellent condition and moved soundly both ways. 3 Grigas, Rus Nano Sterling Gemstone. 1 Singh, Russtam Dolly Mixture at Borderbridge. 2 Steinke, Temtiz Miss Prim & Proper – Skull and foreface of equal length, level topline and nicely angulated quarters with low hocks. I would prefer her shorter coupled. 1 Fearnhead, Settlebeck Queen Of Hearts – Decent length of head, but a tad heavy in skull. Enough neck into shoulders set at a good angle, level top line and well-developed quarters. Moved true in front. 1 Toulson, Toulsyork Tiger Lilly – This girl has a lovely head and expression and enough neck into a well-placed shoulder with straight legs and good feet. Her ribs extend back to a short loin and she has a good tail set. She holds a level topline and has well developed quarters. Moved soundly fore and aft. 2 Graham, Shadlian Heavens Dream at Thistleaire JW – Decent head and expression, good forehand and a level topline. Longer cast and not as true in movement as the winner. 1 Hampton & Hall & Hall, Muliebrity Summer Sun. 2 Delaney, Carliams Royal Rumble (CW23) (IKC) – Heavier type who has good bone and substance. Her head is of a good length with correctly placed eyes and ears of a good size and shape, although more refined trimming on her head would enhance her expression. Good angles front and rear and she carries a level topline standing and moving. Sound both fore and aft. 1 Ablard, Ch Jaydavine Story Of Love. 2 Hampton & Hall & Hall, Muliebrity Ocean Bay – Typical head proportions with a decent expression. Good reach of neck into a good forehand, level topline and a well set tail. Presented to advantage and moved soundly both ways. 3 Averis, Saredon Mind Over Matter |
