AIREDALE CRUFTS 16 Airedale Terrier Judge(s): MR W BROWNE-COLE Airedale Terriers VD (1) 1 Wendelberger-James & James’ Saffronstars’ Stargazer, pleasing head, level topline, good coat texture, moved well going, needs to settle coming. PD (2) 1 Gregg’s Bambusa Noble Dynasty, very promising young male, long clean head, dark expressive eyes, good front & rear, excellent coat, should do well; 2 Jackson & Swash’s Jokyl The General, pleasing make & shape, just needs to settle but that should come. JD (6) 1 Toulson’s Toulsyork King Lincoln, good for size, typy head, good body shape & set on, so sound both ways; 2 Ablard’s Katherine’s Land VIP Lover, pleasing head & eye, good topline, would have preferred slightly better set on; 3 Oates’ Stabuks Mr Bojangles. PGD (4) 1 Collins’ Colldale Son Of Adventurer, well balanced, sound dog, very good bone, legs & feet; 2 Morris’ Nedella Black Opal, upstanding dog, ribs well sprung & of a good depth, moved well going, just needs to settle a little coming; 3 Burkin’s Nedella Flash Opal at Raffinato. LD (6) 1 Collins’ Colldale The Hero, very smart dog, long clean head, correct bite, would have preferred a slightly better lift in ears, excellent topline both standing & on the move which he excelled in, should make up; 2 Atkinson’s Jokyl Party Popper, stunning head shape with well placed ears, good spring of rib, good topline, moved so well going, needs to settle a little coming; 3 Lee’s Basidale Baroque King of Stargus. OD (14) 1 CC & BOB, Pisani & Bouma’s It Ch Expression Factor-X of Malton, stunning male with a balanced head, correct bite, good reach of neck & lay of shoulder, level well sprung ribs, excellent bone, legs & feet, moved so well both ways, excellently presented; 2 RCC, Callon & Callon-Winn’s Ch Sonorra Cristmas Cracker from Russtam, another top quality male, excellent forehand, good hindquarters, great mover; 3 Hampton & Hall’s Muliebrity Symphony. GCD (3) 1 Moore’s Nedella Sparks In The Park at Arngask, pleasing head & eye, very good body shape, moved steadily; 2 Webber’s Sherifs Red Hot, good make & shape, just needs to settle a little on the move; 3 Wendelberger-James & James’ Saffronstars’ Stargazer. VB (1) 1 Steinke’s Magwyr Be Dazzled, typy head with a good bite, good bone, legs & feet, correct set on, sound both ways. PB (8) 1 BP, Connell’s Sonorra Skylark, classy youngster with a future, long clean head, reachy neck, good depth, very good bone, legs & feet, good set on, moved true both ways; 2 Johnstone’s Jecadie Gosh That’s Spicy, promising, liked her head shape, well sprung ribs, excellent coat texture, correct set on though a little gay, moved out well; 3 Edwards’ Saredon Simply Susan at Smockalley. JB (6) 1 Moore’s Nedella Cleopatra at Zalman, good length to head, ample neck, level topline, correct angulation, good feet, excellent coat texture, sound both ways, should do well; 2 Day’s Vivavick Viva Voce, pleasing head though lacked furnishings, excellent body shape, correct set on though a little gay, sound both coming & going; 3 Fernandez & Purnell’s Jokyl Gold Star. PGB (11) 1 Kralova’s Lilly Lillybeth Adia Avi, quality bitch with good head shape, correct ears, excellent front & feet, well sprung ribs, good depth, strong loin, in excellent coat & condition; 2 Haly’s Vivavick Tittletattle, long clean head, big ribs, strong loin, correct bone, moved true both ways; 3 Collins’ Colldale Adventuress Girl. LB (7) 1 RCC, Toulson’s Toulsyork Ha Ha Hope, well balanced compact bitch, good head & eye, very good angulations, in excellent muscletone, such a pleasure to watch her move; 2 Keay’s Jaymitch Jaunty Panachon, another very sound bitch, excellent lay of shoulder, in tip top condition; 3 Collins’ Beacytan Best Seller of Colldale. OB (15) 1 CC, Hampton & Hall’s Muliebrity Harmony, quality bitch through & through, so well balanced, excellent bone, legs & feet, put down in superb condition, should make up; 2 Gregg’s Ch/Ir/Int Ch Bambusa Dream Model, lovely bitch to go over, excellent coat texture, such a pleasure to watch her positive movement; 3 Jackson & Swash’s Ch Jokyl Simply Red. GCB (4) 1 Fury’s Saredon Lorelli, long clean head, correct level topline, good set on, so sound both ways; 2 Titchmarsh’s Jokyl Red Dress, pleasing head & eye, ample neck, well sprung ribs, not quite so positive on the move as 1; 3 Webber’s Jokyl Stars In Her Eyes.
