AIREDALE JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 19

I would like to thank my stewards who coped magnificently with the very inclement weather conditions, as did the exhibits, a tribute to the stoical temperament of Airedales; all present were of super quality, thank you exhibitors for giving me the opportunity of going over them.

P (2,1)

1. Edwards’ Lytchdale Merveilleux BP & RBB Very promising lively 7m bitch at her first show; a lot to like about her, feminine head, dark eyes with mischievous look, good chiselling; strong jaws. Very balanced construction throughout, good angulation and firm top line, good set on. Super harsh jacket and nice colour, moved soundly, should do well.

OD (1)

1. Turner’s Crillee Maximus the Cool, BD &BOB Eye catching dog with lots of ring presence. Appealed very much in head, real varminty expression, neat ears used to advantage. Muscular neck of good length and nicely arched running into well laid shoulders overall pleasing square outline. Strong hindquarters. Very harsh texture jacket, very well presented. Good bone, moved purposefully

OB (2,1)

1 Brown’s Jokyl Noble Princess for Oceanaire Sh.CM BB Lovely quality bitch in super coat and condition; good colour feminine head of good proportions, firm neck and she held topline well on the move, good angulation fore and aft; in challenge for BOB just preferred hind movement of the dog
