AUSTRALIAN BATH 10 Judge: Mrs C A Cole AIREDALE JUDGE BATH 10 Airedale Terriers PD (2) 1 Brown’s Oceanaire Beachcomber, good sized 10 months, happy young man, nice head, eye & well placed ears, good neck & shoulders, short back, well ribbed, tailset & rearend, moved OK, well presented; 2 Moore’s Time After Time, 11 months, overall larger than 1. Pleasing head, but wouldn’t use ears. Smooth shoulders, well ribbed body. Moved erratically, but only a youngster. Nicely presented & handled. JD (1) 1 Hampton & Hall’s Muliebrity Grandioso, large upstanding dog, prefer smaller eye, longer foreface & smoother skull. Good ear placement, used well, long neck, OK shoulders, good tailset, well angulated. Movement needs to tighten up. PGD (3) 1 Toulson’s Toulsyork Combat Cooper, smart, nice size, lovely balanced head, neat eye, good ear carriage used well, good length of neck flowing into well placed shoulders, well ribbed, short back, good tailset & angulation. Handler needs to slow down on move, as can cause dog to move erratically. Lovely presentation. RCC; 2 Lee’s Hazenaide Harbour Light for Sijuboo, smart, well presented & handled, good length of head, reach of neck, smooth shoulders, well ribbed, good tailset & angulation, moved OK; 3 Fraser’s Awbeck Painted Moon. LD (5,4a) 1 Pearce & Hughe’s Knowlelion A Sunny Smile at Alkinra, smart young dog, well presented & in good coat & condition, balanced head with small dark eye. Could use ears better. Neck good length, flat, well placed shoulders, short back. Tailset could be better. Moved close behind. OD (4,2) 1 Edward’s Lytchdale Maestro, well made, quality & balance, good head, used ears well, straight front, flowing shoulders, short, well ribbed back, good tailset & angulation, moved OK, very well presented. CC; 2 Iwahashi’s Rockridge JP Black Shadow, much larger than 1, strong head, good ear placement & usage, long neck, well placed shoulders, long in body, well placed tail with plenty behind, moved OK. PB (4,1) 1 Glover-Byrne’s Jodean Rapunsel, 7 months confident baby, neat & balanced, lovely head & expression, used ears well, small dark eye, neck flowing into well placed shoulders, short back, well ribbed for age, well set tail, good angulation, moved very well, really enjoyed her day out, one I will watch with interest. BP; 2 Jackson Swash’s Jokyl Time To Party, larger & different type to 1, feminine & full of herself, balanced head, neat ears, good neck, well placed shoulders, short back, high tailset, good rearend. Moved a little erratically; 3 Haly’s Vivavick’s The Royal We. JB (2) 1 Hampton & Hall’s Muliebrity True Spirit, strong head, neat eye, well used ears, nice neck & shoulders, short back, tailset OK, good rearend, handled well. Movement let her down; 2 Fraser’s Edenros Moon Shine, slightly nervous, but soon settled. Pleasing head, small dark eye, good bite, straight front, good length of neck, smooth shoulders, well ribbed, moved OK. PGB (5) 1 Edward’s Smockalley Top Totty, lovely feminine, compact bitch, lovely balanced head, small dark eye, well placed & used ears, neck of good proportion, well placed shoulders, short level back, well ribbed, good tailset with plenty behind, moved well with plenty of drive, well handled & presented. RCC; 2 Toulson’s Toulsyork Chapter Three, very feminine & compact, lovely coat & colour, smaller than 1. Balanced head, dark eye, using ears well, length of neck & well placed shoulders flowing into short well ribbed body, good tuck-up, tailset & rearend, moved OK. As with litter brother handler needs to slow down a little; 3 Watt & Warden’s Sherifs Ruby Tuesday. LB (4,1) 1 Felstead’s Minnisoda Calender Girl, compact & feminine, head of lovely proportion, small dark eye, used ears well, straight front, good length of neck, well placed shoulders, keeps topline on move, hard grizzle jacket, good tailset & angulation, moved with drive & in harmony with handler; 2 Toulson’s What Comes Around via Toulsyork, very feminine expression, balanced head, neat ears, dark eye, lovely neck, smooth well placed shoulder, straight front, short back, well ribbed, tail on top, moved well, presented & handled well; 3 Oate’s Stabuks Primrose. OB (3) 1 Jackson & Swash’s Ch Jokyl Star Flash & what a star she is, compact, beautifully constructed, feminine in every way, lovely balanced head, used ears well, good length of neck, well laid shoulders, short back, well ribbed, level topline, tail on top with plenty behind, excellent coat & presentation. CC & BOB; 2 Brown’s Dendaric Vigli, very stylish bitch, balanced head, dark eyes, correctly placed & well used ears, long neck, well placed shoulders, short back with well set tailset, good angulation, moved OK; 3 Hughes’ Saredon Merry Legs.
