I would like to thank everyone for their support in attending this very northerly show where the entry overall gave a good representation of the breed.
However, diversity was evident with coat textures and colours and overall presentation. There were a few nails that were too long and pads that hadn’t been trimmed out. Trimming to present a neat outline is better than it was with more judicious trimming of fronts and rears to accentuate angulations, but I found the trimming of head coats, especially the fall and cheeks, a bit lacking. So much more shape and expression can be found there with a structured trim whilst still maintaining the overall look of coat.

The ring size and flooring in the hall, even with strategically placed mats, was not conducive to moving the dogs and I gave this due consideration.
